Chapter 53 - Soul Reader

The white wolf was surprisingly suddenly lunged towards the ferocious Hollow, the two physical disembodied creatures were fighting each other. Whether intentional or not, the white wolf dragged the Hollow away from Arya.

Lexa and M immediately returned to Arya's side while looking at the scene before them in astonishment.

"What's that?" Tilting his head confused.

"Hey? What Guide Vision should be able to do such a thing?" Lexa tugged at Arya's sleeves.

Arya just silently silent while putting her ears well, she seemed to hear there was a roar of roar around it but did not know where the sound came from.

"HEY! DON'T IGNORE ME!"

"Aww..what's—" Arya sizzled as she felt Lexa's hard pinch on her waist.

The wolf paused and looked at Arya deeply, like asking "Why?". Lexa and M were similarly shocked, in an instant Arya had already appeared in the middle of the battle that was almost finished.

Moreover, his position looked like it was protecting a creature that a moment ago wanted to kill them. Arya turned towards that helpless Hollow.

"What...that you want to convey....?" Arya stuck out her hand in doubt.

When her skin almost came into contact with the black head of the Hollow, Arya thought she would not be able to touch the creature. But in fact when their bodies met, he felt like touching a living creature that had a very low body temperature.

Immediately, an unexpected Agnet explosion appears and leaves Lexa, M, and the white wolf bouncing. Due to the force of the explosion, the trees were shaking while showering them with piles of snow.

"ARYA!" yell Lexa panicked.

But it was too late, Arya did not move from the position that touched the Hollow's head with brightly lit eyes.

Asuna was seen sitting quietly in the middle of the hall surrounded by a lava pool, seconds later she opened her eyes while standing on standby. A chain that appeared out of nowhere wrapped around his right wrist.

He pulled the chain as hard as he could, the pull action lasted for quite a long time. All of that was finally finished marked by the sound of a loud explosion filling the air, Asuna caught the creature that had just exited the red-colored portal gently.

He sat back with the little creature in his lap, Asuna stroking the head of the fine-haired creature affectionately. Timothy arrived there a moment later in a hurry.

"How did it go....?"

"You think?" Asuna asked without looking at it.

Timothy finally understood after seeing what was on Asuna's lap, his eyes twinkled and then cheerfully approached.

"Fear so! Asuna can I hold it? Can ya? Can ya? Can ya?!"

"What's wrong with you?" Asuna looked at him cynically.

"Oh come....!!! Just a moment..please....!" pinta Timothy with a face.

As Timothy continued to beg and annoy her, Asuna let him lift the creature in her lap. He shouted in excitement like a child given a new toy.

Timothy held the creature aloft while circling around, just as he was trying to kiss it. The creature clawed at Timothy's cheeks, at which time Timothy could still curse him and laugh.

But the laughter soon disappeared as the creature began to light up, its body emitting a very hot flame to the point that Timothy instantly let go of its grasp.

"WOAH...! D.d..he's on!" Timothy blew his palm with watery eyes.

"Of course, what do you expect? He is an Elemental Beast Fire" Asuna said and then raised the creature again.

The creature immediately calmed back down while in Asuna's arms, Timothy looked at Asuna with a bad look.

"You let me pick it up on purpose?" timothy asked whose temple veins were already twitching in annoyance.

"Aren't you the one who asked for it?" asuna replied unconcernedly as she stepped away.

"Hey wait du—"

"She said she hates smelly men"

"It's obvious, isn't it? Who else is there besides you, oh yes. Don't forget to bring my things" Asuna turned her head without any guilt.

"Good, you finally understand. Now let's go back to Elemental City" Asuna smiled happily as she walked with light steps.

"Egh.ba....Miss, a..ku...will...sege...ra....menyu. Huh..huh....Miss first, don't think..me!!!" timothy said in a voice that was increasingly disappearing as a result of trying to carry the burden of existing goods.

Arya looked around with a strange feeling, she was in a room that looked like a warehouse. Many piles of dusty items around him, a loud clanging sound made him turn his head.

A man about the same age as him was lifting several boxes of goods, he was a little troubled due to the many things he carried.

"Soul Reader" M replied seriously.

"Soul Reader is the ability to read the life journey of a spirit. Or perhaps more accurately called the soul of the dead, this ability was commonly used by the Necromancers of old to create powerful armies by utilizing knowledge of their past.
