Chapter 35 - Voreia Poles

After Arya and Rena shouted out the answer to the puzzle, the Dungeon trembled violently making Arya and Rena put on a standby. They still do not know whether the answers they give are right or wrong, and they also do not know what consequences they can get.

But all of that was immediately answered when the Protector Knight suddenly bent his knees and stuck his sword into the ground. Slowly the body of the ice knight melted and from where he should have been before appeared an altar, it rose slowly to the surface as if it was growing just like that.

A bluish-colored crystal emitted a bright light from above the altar, Arya and Rena exchanged a happy look then the two did a tos to celebrate their success. Because carried away by the euphoria, the two did not realize the appearance of a white figure in front of them.

When the two of them finally realized this, both of them fell silent with their eyes wide open. Stammering, the two tried to scream.

"Huh.ha...ghost!!?"

"Oh..come on! Is that how you greet someone in this day and age?" protest the white man.

Arya and Rena who were about to take a thousand steps from that place immediately stopped and immediately turned their heads towards the figure with astonished faces. The figure looked like an old man in a worn-out robe.

"You...can you talk?" ask Rena doubtfully.

"Sure I can talk" said the white figure happily because it finally got the attention of the two of them.

"I just found out that there are ghosts who can talk" Arya said as she stroked her chin.

"What did you say?! Don't be so rude, boy! It's as if you're calling me a ghost" she's upset.

"Mmm...then? if not a ghost? What are you, old man?" arya asked without caring about the response of the white figure.

"I am a fragment of soul implanted in this thing" he replied as he pointed at the bluish crystal above the altar.

After hearing that Arya noticed that a white figure appeared from inside the crystal, she was like a hologram projected by the crystal. Then slowly Arya approached towards him, the figure started to look happy as Arya seemed to start to understand how important she was.

Leisurely Arya stuck her hand through the head of the white figure, she pulled her hand again with a sigh and glanced at the figure with a mocking look.

"I don't know what your difference is with ghosts, because where I come from the figure that doesn't have a physical body is called H.A.N.T.U" Arya said, deliberately emphasizing the spelling of the last five letters.

The expression of the white figure became irritated, it was seen that the nerve veins on his temple started twitching with anger. He clenched his hands tightly while growling "Based on that son of a bitch....!"

"Pfft....hmm...What are you going to do? Penetrate my body until the end of the world?" arya sneered while holding back a laugh.

The expression of the white figure immediately turned moody, it seemed like he realized what Arya said just now had a point. No matter how sorry he was to Arya, he couldn't do anything. Rena then immediately pulled Arya closer and whispered softly in her ear with an urgent tone of voice.

"What are you really doing?!"

"Take the old man's life when he has no body and there's nothing he can be proud of anymore" replied Arya ignorant.

Actually Arya said that the painful thing was not without cause, she could see the excessive arrogance from the eyes of the white figure clearly. He just wanted to make her realize in his own way, to be honest he had long since missed what it felt like to upset others.

"So...have you realized what you are, old man?" ask Arya again casually.

"Alright, you win. You can call me a ghost or whatever you like, I never knew there was a boy as thick as you in this world" he said.

"Oh...pity, your world must be very kec—aww! Rena for what just now?!" hiss Arya when she felt the hard pinch of Rena on her stomach.

"It's enough Arya! Eee...how do I call you Tuan—? "

"Polishing, Voreia Poles" replied the figure enthusiastically because Rena looked much more respectful than Arya.

"Master Poles, may we know you are....who exactly?" ask Rena carefully.

"I? You guys don't know me but dare to come to this place? Well but that's it. I am the creator of that thing and arguably the owner of this place" he replied as he pointed towards the blue crystal on the altar then around the room.

"Wait a minute, the creator of that thing you said?" repeat Arya with raised eyebrows.

"Huum, right"

Arya and Rena were staring at each other with their mouths wide open. They shouted along with a tone of disbelief.

"You....! The big brother in the story?!"

"Si's brother in the story?" Repeat Voreia with raised eyebrows.

"really right? You are one of two brothers who are told to fight to split a continent" explained Arya quickly.

"Ah...Do you know about the incident? I didn't expect you to know, was it told from generation to generation?" asked Voreia back in curiosity.

Then they both explained that most people actually think of the story as just a fairy tale or legend, because until now the evidence of the incident when it was difficult to find.

"Omong empty! It can't have been that long! What year is this?" voreia comments with wrinkled brows.

Arya and Rena exchanged glances for a moment and then replied along with a soft "It's the year 2XXX"

Arya can see the color of Voreia getting pale, your face shows a shock that is very visible. He slowly touched his temple with both hands while muttering.

"No way...no way impossible impossible impossible, have I really been in this place for over 2000 years?"

"It's not true, it could be much longer. The year that we use now is after March, who knows your time is in the year before March" Aryan timpal said without guilt.

Voreia grew increasingly limp hearing that, she to the point of bending her knees while staring at the ground in disbelief. Arya and Rena were confused, thus letting her lament her nasip for a moment. Until he finally spoke again.

"What about my sister? Was he never seen again?"

"That's how, didn't we say that your story used to be a lullaby" Arya replied in a tweet.

"Hmm if it was him, he would definitely do the same to me. Ugh....Parent what you humans have been doing all this time?! Why is it only now that someone has discovered my master?!" voreia was upset.

"Hey hey wait a minute, I can't take it when you say that. Who do you think this is wrong? Do you really wish ordinary humans would find this place and enter it? With all the traps and locations in the interior of the North Pole?! You must be crazy old man"

"Rei, stop calling me that sweet Miss. And call me Rei, everyone calls me that" Rei replied with the first warm smile he showed them.

Rei then told about the quarrel that occurred between him and his sister started because of the second meeting with a girl. They both fall in love with the same girl and want to impress her, which is when it's too late.

"You know the story, oh yes. And the girl's name is Shion, Shion Frost"

Arya almost died choking on her own saliva after hearing that, Rena immediately helped Arya by stroking her back. Rei raised next to his eyebrows while looking at Arya with a questioning look.

"What's wrong with you, son?"

"Right, Shion Frost the Ice Elementalist" Rei replied as he nodded.

Instantly, Arya exploded, "YOU TWO SPLIT A LARGE CONTINENT JUST BECAUSE OF A WOMAN!!?" arya shouted in disbelief.

Rei was of course shocked to see Arya's reaction, he didn't expect her response to be like that. Not only him, Rena also almost jumped when Arya shouted.

"Hey hey have you never studied history? Many divisions in this world are only because of a woman" Rei said in self-defense.

"And what's more stupid is that you do that because you want to impress one of my ancestors?" arya said while patting her jidat.

"Your ancestors?" rei was confused.

Arya then rubbed her hair white like snow. Rei's eyes widened indicating he understood something.

"You...is one of Shion's descendants? Are you here to look for Elemental Weapon materials?" ask with enthusiasm.

Arya nodded expressionlessly. Rei immediately brandished a fist into the air "Yes! Whoa! Feel it little brother, he prefers my master. Eh?! But wait a minute, what am I happy for?! Being here means that Shion is married to another man, right?"

"of course! Why is he waiting for two obscure men who shut themselves up on two axes of the world?" arya was upset.

Again Rei looked lethargic, he was like lamenting the whole life he had lived to date.

"And you should know, I didn't choose your work. I will use both of your works" Arya continued.

Rei raised his head and looked at Arya with a strange expression "You must have gone crazy!"

"Look at your own face before saying something like that to someone else, old man, no. I'm so sane. I'm planning on making a great weapon out of two elements of the world axis"

"Huh...you do not realize that our two masterpieces are opposite and reject each other? How could you possibly want to unite the two?" rei commented while shaking his head.

"That's why this is worth trying" said Arya.

"Eh?"

"You have only ever smashed the power of the two, not united them. What do you think would happen if the two were put together?" arya asked with raised eyebrows.

Hearing that Rei could not help but laugh out loud. To Arya and Rena's amazement, "You're an interesting boy, even if it sucks a little. All right, take the North Blue Frozen Crystal with you. I want to see what it's like"

After Rei said that, the entire Dungeon trembled once more. But the vibration was much bigger than the previous one.

"Ah...it looks like this is the last warning" Rei chirped quietly.

"Last warning?" rework Arya and Rena together.

"Huum, do you remember the vibrations that happened before? It was the first warning for the self-destruction of this place, you guys should have come right out after feeling the first warning" Rei explained.

Arya and Rena's face paled, Arya immediately ran over and grabbed the blue crystal that was on the altar while yelling "Then what are you asking us to talk about since the beginning of the stupid old man!"

"Rei!?" arya shouted with a breath of breath.

"Yes?" sahut Rei relax.

Rei's figure was already invisible, only now that Arya and Rena could still hear his voice coming from the North Blue Frozen Crystal. The two of them were running as fast as they could towards the exit while trying to avoid the ruins of the Dungeon.

"Thank God you don't have a physical body, because otherwise I'll—"

"This is not the right time Arya" whined Rena who ran next to him.

Arya was waiting for the majority of the Dungeon skyline to collapse, then without warning she immediately whistled with all her might. A while later a winged white horse flew through the gap in the ceiling at high speed towards them.

"Wow! A pegasus" hissed Rei amazed.

"Rena go up to Stella's back and get out first from here" Arya ordered.

"What?! How about—"

Before Rena finished her words, Arya immediately placed the North Blue Frozen Crystal held by Rena then threw Rena's body into the air which was immediately grabbed by Stella.

"Go! I'll be fine" urged Arya.

Rena and Stella look hard-hearted to leave, but due to an increasingly urgent situation. They were separated and forced to leave Arya. Arya who is still there is squeezed snow and ice from various directions with a number that is not small.

At its peak, the Dungeon ceiling collapsed right at him. Quickly he smashed the ice ceiling but was instead buried by the fragments, in the midst of his increasingly heavy breath he thought "Is it only up here?"

Stella landed not far from the ruins of the Dungeon, Rena immediately descended from her back then shouted calling Arya's name as strongly as possible. But of course there's no answer.

"No.maybe" he whispered.

Moments later an explosion emerged from within the Dungeon ruins, the explosion making ice and snow flung out in all directions. Then there was a large creature covered in armor.

Ragna appears wearing full armor with Arya hanging on her body. "Thank you....Ragna" whispered weakly.

Rena and Stella immediately run up to them, Rena gives first aid to Arya. When his condition stabilized, Arya asked him where the North Blue Frozen Crystal was. Without waiting again Rena immediately gave the object to Arya.

"Ahaha...hello son, it turns out that you are quite tough as well" Rei said.

Arya immediately threw the blue crystal again towards the ruins of the Dungeon with all her might.

"WAAA....!!?? Hey Arya....?! You're not gonna leave me here, are you? HEY....?! Rena....?! Rena....?! You're not as bad as Arya, are you? PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME HERE?!"

Tomorrow Arya and Rena say goodbye to the Polarians, Arya hugs Ragna and does not forget to continue to thank her for the help she gave while they were here. Ragna then told him that he would always be welcome in this place at any time.

Arya then approached Stella then stroked her head gently. "Stella, I can't take you with a teleportation device and I don't want to put you in danger either. So stay here with Ragna or go back to where you came from"

Stella neighs miserably while rubbing her head at Arya, as Arya is about to hug her. Rena first embraced the neck of the horse with tears.

"Thank you for everything, I'll miss you" she whispered.

Arya who saw that certainly raised next to her eyebrows in surprise. She did not expect Rena would be as emotional as parting ways with Stella, given her less pleasant flying experiences.

"Oh...a very moving parting" Rei chirped.

"Have you forgotten your punishment? It is forbidden to speak if not asked, it seems you really want to be thrown in the middle of the ocean so that it can not be found again by others" threatened Arya cold.

"Ti.ti.no Sir! I understand, I won't repeat it again" Rei said quickly.

"Good"

After Arya and Rena had gone far enough, they turned their heads and gave a final wave to the herd of Polarians and Stella. The two joined hands then disappeared from the place.

When he opened his eyes Arya was surprised because he could not see anything, as he remembered in the North Pole was still early in the morning. But here at the South Pole. He could not see anything, then when he and Rena were still recovering from their shock they heard a howling sound that made my feathers stand up.

"Werewolf" Rei chirped with a quivering voice.
