Chapter 06 - The Tenth Examination Supervisor

Ryan returned Arya's shocked gaze with a smile on his face, he was wearing a toga like the other people who were there. Arya found it strange to see him wearing such clothes, because usually this Wibu just wearing a t-shirt with a picture of his waifu and dull jeans. After noticing the theme for a while, Arya realizes that Ryan is not alone.

"Hi how are you?" tanyanya cheerful.

"K...k....why?" arya stuttered.

"Why am I here? Didn't I ever tell you that my dad works at a research center?"

Eh? Has he ever been? Mmm it seems Arya was indeed told by Ryan that her father works here but, Arya was never serious about responding to any words from Wibu.

"You don't remember?" ask again.

"He doesn't remember, it's just that I don't care what you say"

"HUH!? You are, honestly, very much."

"Thank you for the praise" Arya said with a mocking smile.

"It wasn't a fucking compliment, and I actually greeted you because I wanted to introduce someone to you" Ryan said, looking back.

He turned to look at the foreign man behind him, for some reason Arya felt familiar with that man. The man was tall even taller than Ryan, he had hair that was slightly above his head or arguably almost bald, he was wearing glasses and toga just like Ryan was wearing.

"Include Arya, this man is my father, he is one of the researchers at this Research Center"

Arya had guessed that the familiarity she felt earlier came from the similarity of the man's posture with Ryan. Ryan's father smiled enthusiastically and shook Arya's hand with vigor. Even before Arya thrust out her hand.

"Include Mr. Arya, my name is William Gerrow. I have long wanted to meet you in person. And finally today I can shake hands with you it feels like a dream" he said quickly.

"Ha...ha....ha e...thank you" said Arya confusedly responding to the man.

"And I'm so grateful that you want to make friends and take care of my son, I know he's very annoying and useless but. I am so grateful that an Elementalist like you would be friends with him" Mr. Gerrow said.

"Yes I understand, it must be difficult to have a child who is useless and like the garbage of the community, huh?" arya said responding with a smile.

"HEY!!!" ryan shouted annoyed.

"If you're willing would you visit and try the magic tools I made?" ask her again to Arya without caring about her son's upset screams.

"Magic devices?" arya asked while looking at Ryan.

"It's true, I'm a Half-Witch" Ryan said in response to Arya's questioning gaze.

"Ahhh hasn't Ryan told you?" ask Mr.Gerrow.

"Not at all" said Arya.

Come to think of it this is the first time he has known anything about Ryan, Ryan it's not unusual to tell specific things in his personal life. It seems like this of course, even usually he knows more about Arya than Arya herself.

"Well, Ryan, I want to get back to work, if you want to go home, wait in my room. See you, Mr. Arya" he said, waving to Arya.

The two of them waved at the man until he was nowhere to be seen from their sight, then Arya started talking.

"So you were ordered by the research center to keep an eye on me?"

"That's right"

"So you approached me because you were told to?"

"Mmm wrong buddy, I was already attracted to you before I was even asked to keep an eye on you"

Reflex, Arya immediately took some distance from Ryan while looking at him with a look full of disdain.

"I'm sorry pal, but I'm a normal guy" he said as he positioned his hands crossed in front of his chest.

"Not interested in that I meant!!!" his yell.

Actually Arya doubted their friendship for a while, because she still did not believe that this Wibu was a Half-Witch.

"So what do you think of this place?" ask Ryan.

"It's not a bad start for me, I just hope it won't be boring on the surface" Arya said, pointing up.

"I'm sure you won't get bored here"

"And why do you think like that, Mr. Wibu?"

"Isn't it clear why you feel bored on the surface? That's because you're not where you should be, there you don't feel any competition because you have an advantage over the people around you. But this place is very different, here you will be trained and compete with selected people who can be said to be equal to you even above you"

"The bottom line is that your words would be more exciting if I were to compete with the other Elementalists here than with the ordinary people on the surface?"

"Yep, and not only because you will compete with the other Elementalists, but also because you will be trained by the 10 Examination Supervisors"

"What happened to the Tenth Examiner?" ask Arya curious.

"Hehh....did you not wonder why they could be the coaches assigned to train the Elementalists? And again they are human. It could be said that the 10 Examination Supervisors are the strongest humans at the moment, it is because you Elementalists are currently not true Elementalists. You're ten still like a baby just out of the womb"

"Hey are you playing me?"

"Absolutely not, I'm very serious about this. The strength level of the Tenth Examination Supervisor was right below that of Elementalists, even I think they could match or even exceed the other 4 races when fighting, even if they could match, didn't you feel anything different when you met the Astral Supervisor for the first time?" ryan said seriously as he turned to the Astral Overseer.

"You're right, that person is a little different from the average person" Arya agreed.

Arya admitted that she did indeed feel a difference from the man, when she first saw him standing right in the middle of the Elementalists. The man had an aura that Arya had never felt before.

"Hey do you want to see something interesting?" ryan asked while taking out something similar like a magic wand from his pocket.

"Heh...what is that? Don't you, a magic wand?" ask Arya.

"That's right, Ir'amec" he said as he brandished his magic wand.

Suddenly something shot towards the two of them very quickly, it stopped right next to Ryan. It felt so familiar in Arya's eyes.

"What's that.......? Magic broom?" arya was confused.

"Well, do you want to try it?" asked Ryan enthusiastically.

"No, are you sure people who aren't witches are safe to use?" arya immediately refused.

"Mmm....I don't know, which is why now we want to try it, right?"

"HUHH.....? Do you think I'm so stupid that I agreed to be your guinea pig?"

Arya still does not believe that this Wibu is a witch, but what she has done earlier can be strong evidence that shows that the theme is a witch. As he was still engrossed in thinking suddenly there was a voice that broke his daydream, a voice that he had very little expected.

"Hey, how long do you want to play with your friend? They told us to gather"

"Hehhhh.

The one talking to her was none other than Asuna, the girl looking at her with a condescending look. It seemed like she was watching what Arya and Ryan were doing.

"I don't know you, when did I say I knew you? I only called you because the Elementalists were told to gather" he said as he turned his face away

Arya then approached him and touched Asuna's cheek with the index finger of her right hand. Immediately the girl was startled and retreated away with a reddened face.

"A..Ap....what are you doing?" tanyanya stutters.

"No, it's just that I wanted to ascertain whether you were right Asuna or just an illusion. I still can't believe that Asuna will greet me first" Arya said.

"HUH....?! Do you want me to burn?" asuna said while brandishing her fists.

Arya was content to successfully wipe out the cold expression of the girl.

"WE'RE NOT DATING. HUH!" said the two of them simultaneously while turning their faces away.

Why do they go together like that, Ryan thought. Then he walked away from the two people who were fighting. But before he left he turned back to Arya.

"Hei Arya remembered my message, don't underestimate the 10 Exam Supervisors"

Arya looked at her best friend's eyes for a while, then nodded her head which signaled she understood what Ryan was saying. Then Ryan walked and disappeared into the crowd of the place, after which Arya turned back to the girl in front of him.

"When are you going to stand there? Didn't you just say we were told to gather?" ask Arya.

"No need to say I already know" he said ketus and immediately walked.

Arya caught up with him and walked right beside him.

"Stay away from me" said Asuna.

"Huh?" sahut Arya is confused.

"Seek from me! I don't want the others to assume we know each other" he yelled annoyed.

"Yes-yes" said Arya obeyed what she said.

Wasn't he the one who wanted to call me? you little girl, then Arya glanced at the girl again. He saw something strange in the girl's eyes, shouldn't this girl?

"Hey wouldn't you rather try to get acquainted and befriend the other female Elementalists"

"Huh?! Why would I do such a stupid thing?" ask her with an annoyed face.

The expression he showed was in accordance with Arya's guess, this woman had no friends. How else would it be if he remained cold like that how would he make friends?

"Isn't that why you're talking to me? Because you can't talk to the others?"

"I can talk to the others" he said.

"Then did you know them?"

"Of course"

"I'll bet you only know their names from the Astral Watchers' absence when we gathered earlier"

He fell silent at Arya's words, then turned his face away from Arya.

"Try to get acquainted, advice from me anyway try to get acquainted with Selena. Looks like he's a good-natured person"

"AHH IYA-IYA basic chatty, you know your mouth is like a woman who is cravings" he said while looking annoyed.

"HUH!!? What do you mean by that? I just want to help you" said Arya annoyed.

Then the two of them looked away from each other, and did not speak again until they reached the other place to gather. Timothy who saw the two of them walking together directly approached Arya, Asuna immediately walked away.

"Kyu-kyu what the hell is this? I thought you didn't know each other, but you guys were having fun in a place like this" Timothy joked around Arya's neck.

Without further ado Arya instantly threw a pretty powerful punch right at Timothy's stomach, the unexpected attack making him bend his knees while holding his stomach. Ahhhh it's good to be able to let go of resentment towards others.

"Hey! Sick to know, if only I wasn't an Iron Elementalist I might have spewed out all the food I had on my stomach" he said still holding his stomach

"Thank God you are an Iron Elementalist" Arya said with a cynical smile.

"Arya you're really creepy" he said as he stood up from the floor.

"It seems like everything is already here, before you all rest in your comfortable rooms. I want to bring you all together with the people who will train you during your stay here" Astral Watchdog said.

Then out of nowhere, appeared 9 other people who stood on the left and right of the Astral Supervisor, these were the Tenth Examination Supervisor. The aura they exuded was completely different from the one Arya had felt all along, only one that Arya knew back then. They're very dangerous.

"I'm not going to introduce them right now, they're going to introduce themselves when you get some practice from them. Alright please head to your respective rooms" the Astral Overseer said with a smile.

"Okay everyone let's head straight to our dorm" Timothy said excitedly.

But before Timothy could go any further, he was stopped by the Astral Watchman by holding Timothy's collar.

"Sorry Mr. Timothy you're going the wrong way, male hostel through the stairs on the right, not the left. You better not do weird things, because I can make sure you get the punishment you deserve if you do that" said the creepy Astral Watchman right in front of Timothy's face.

"Ha.ha.ha well, you know Astral Supervisor I just forgot which one is the stairway to the male dormitory" Timothy replied with a pale face.

"Basic pervert" said Kevin.

"Stupid" added Arya.

"No self-respect" Zayn said.

Ali also nodded in agreement to the words of three others.

"HEY! What the fuck? For the first time you agreed on something and you even agreed that I was a stupid pervert who had no self-respect?" timothy said he couldn't believe it.

"That's right" Kevin said as he stepped towards the dormitory.

Followed by Ali and Timothy who grumble themselves, and only Zayn and Arya remain. The girls had gone up to their dormitory, then Zayn walked first to go up to the dormitory.

But when he passed the Tenth Examination Supervisor, it seemed like he was whispering something to them, the thing that made the 10 Exam Supervisors a little surprised. Then Zayn disappeared up the stairs.

The last one is Arya, Arya is walking but she is not heading towards the stairs. But right in front of the Astral Supervisor and 9 other Exam Supervisors, 10 Exam Supervisors consist of 7 men and 3 women. After he noticed they had something in common: a gold ring with a crystal in the middle, each crystal of color was different from each other. 10 Examination Supervisors looked at it with interested faces.

"Do you have any need for Mr Arya?" ask the Astral Supervisor.

"I don't know why you did it, but I clearly know that you were the one watching us in the first room before" Arya said.

Straight away the 10 Exam Supervisors looked surprised by what he said.

"Wow do you feel the air of our existence? It was so amazing" said one of the male Superintendents with a wound next to his eye.

"Ehh....what ability have we decreased huh?" ask one of the male Supervisors with a stocky body.

"Isn't it because their senses are both too sharp" replied a male Supervisor wearing a bandana.

"Wait a minute, what do you mean by the two of them?" ask Arya.

"Mr Zayn is also aware of the existence of the other Supervisors of Mr. Arya" replied the Astral Supervisor.

So that was what Zayn had charged at them and managed to surprise them earlier. I thought Zayn was different.

"Mistress Lyan's son is great, isn't he?" said one of the pretty watchdogs with white hair.

Arya did not respond to her words, she did not know what to say if they mentioned her mother, Then she stepped through the Tenth Examination Supervisor without saying anything and climbed the stairs to the male dormitory.

But there was something he did not expect waiting for him at the top of the stairs, Zayn was waiting for him while leaning against the wall. Arya walked past him without saying anything.

"You're aware of that, aren't you?" Zayn.

Arya stopped her steps without looking.

"Yes" answered.

"You are a little different" Zayn said

Arya felt a piercing look from Zayn.

"You too" said Arya turning to him with a smile.

He returned the smile and entered one of the rooms. The room above it has 5 doors, all doors already have their own names. Arya's room is halfway between Ali and Timothy's. Across the room is Kevin and Zayn's room.

Arya entered her room and locked it from the inside, she noticed her room. The room was quite large almost the same as the room in his house, the suitcases carrying his belongings were already there.

He let it go because he was still lazy to unpack things, he chose to lie in his mattress. It turned out to be soft as well, he thought about what happened today. Because he was busy thinking about many things, he fell asleep without realizing it.
