Chapter 67 - Selena's Weakness
“You're a Water Elementalist aren't you?”
“Where might you not be able to swim?”
“You don't even need to swim! Just control the water around you and you can move like a dolphin – dolphins!”
That was the sentence Arya spoke after learning the shocking fact about Selena, she did not expect Selena to hide something so fatal from her. It was clearly the reason why their permission could be hampered.
But there is also a good thing Arya thought, if the conclusion was drawn from the actions of the two Elders. It is certain that their test this time was closely related to water, but it was not important. The main focus now is how to make Selena able to swim as soon as possible.
Six more days left, all means must be done to defuse this time bomb. Training to make Selena swim was finally started, fortunately their residence is opposite the lake. Arya suspects this is a deliberate thing.

Arya immediately slipped something over Selena's right ear, a bright pink flower.
“Beautiful, where did you get this?” Selena's stunned.
“Below there” Arya pointed at the lake casually.
“You're trying to play me huh? Where there are flowers growing at the bottom of the lake, there is only darkness”
“Yes, at a certain depth. You don't believe it? Wanna prove it? Actually the world above and below the water is no different, it's just that we are surrounded by air while they are surrounded by air”
Although hesitant at first, Selena finally ventured to prove Arya's words just now. As the two prepare to leave, Arya guides Selena into the water by holding her hand.

After successfully opening his eyes, just like Arya had expected. Selena's ability was unstoppable anymore, she might have explored the entire lake near their residence. Her movements were so smooth and deft like a water fairy.
Basically, Selena's water control ability is good, but Arya does not expect the movement can be that good. He is also grateful that this incident made his relationship with Selena closer, Synchronization is not a problem for them.
That night they made a campfire on the edge of the lake, Selena sat quietly using a blanket while sipping her warm chocolate. Arya is writing something seriously.
“Hey Arya? Are you still wondering why I can't open my eyes?” chirps Selena.
“Hmm? You want to tell me?” Arya asked without taking her eyes off her writing.
“Actually...”.
Selena then recounted when she was a child, before her controlling power rose. He once tried to save a kitten that was carried away by the current, but unlucky. His good intentions even did not produce results and instead made him drown dragged by the river current.
Fortunately there were two children his age came to help, this boy – boy and girl managed to get Selena with the kitten from the river.
“I'd love to see them again, but unfortunately I've started to forget the faces of both”
Without Selena noticing, Arya's writing movements paused for a moment. Before finally saying “I'm sure they also want to see you again”
“Hahaha is that so? I hope so too, please stop writing. Now it's your turn to tell me something” Selena added.
“Why?”

“Kan you yourself who want to tell me” reply Arya cuek.

“Hah?” Arya turned her gaze away from the writing for the first time.
“If you must have one or two stories, right?” Selena smiled mischievously.
“I've never had a romantic relationship like that”
“LIED! I bet you must be lying!”
“Alright enough! You don't have to scream, it's night. Hah...how to start? Eee do you believe in love at first sight Selena?”
“Of course not, where there is such a thing as love at first sight” Selena replied lightly.
“Is that? I trust” anyway
“Ehh? Really? Then you've felt it, haven't you? Are you willing to tell me who the lucky girl is?” Selena raised her glass to her lips while giggling amusedly.
“Sure, he's right next to me”

Unknowingly Selena blew her hot chocolate so hard that it was no longer in the glass, she turned to Arya who was still writing while putting on a flat face.
“A..ap...what? Can you repeat that? Looks like something's wrong with my ears” whispered Selena weakly.
