Chapter 38 - Tragedy

The sound of a loud crash when Arya and Rena managed to duck on the ground, the bodies of the Werewolves immediately bounced and filled the air at that time. Arya immediately drags Rena to stay away from the battlefield of the two beasts around them.

The three-headed creature let out a deafening sound, it immediately went berserk and lunged at the Werewolves blocking its path. The Werewolves immediately surrounded the Chimera quickly, they did not want to give her space.

But what a power, a creature the size of an adult elephant was easily able to bulldoze them all and tear apart the Werewolf formation. A fierce fight between the Werewolf herd and the Chimera ensues.

Both sides suffered equally heavy losses, many of the Werewolf flocks were killed and in the end only left the Werewolf Noble-Tier Millos along with some of his formidable men.

The condition of the Chimera was also not good, his body was covered in wounds from the swarming attacks of the Werewolves. Some parts of his wings were torn apart and the tip of his tail was broken due to an attack from Millos.

For a while they just stared at each other, then in the end the Chimera turned around and prepared to go away. Millos and the rest of his men seemed to have no intention of pursuing the creature because of the injuries they suffered. There was no benefit for them to chase after the creature, only losses would be obtained.

"Aryans! You can't let that thing go!" press Rei suddenly.

"Huh? Whatchu mean? Who do you think ordered us to run away from the creature before huh?!" Arya whispered in disbelief.

"What did you expect?! I was only with Rena at the time, but now the situation is different. We've been with you and the creature has suffered quite severe injuries"

"That's why I asked you what you mean by not letting that thing go?"

"You still don't understand?! That was because the aura of the South Black Winter Diamond came from that creature!"

"Well?!"

Without a second thought Arya immediately pulled Rena to chase after the Chimera, she pulled out her thread from inside the waist bag. Just before the Chimera took off Arya managed to tie her thread to one of the Chimera's hind legs.

As soon as she and Rena clasped the thread tightly and were carried into the air, the Chimera seemed oblivious to their presence.

"Rena don't look down!" aryan's orders immediately.

"Without you telling me I already know! Don't look down don't look down don't look down!" reply Rena with muttering mouth and tightly closed eyes.

Before the two of them flew further and further away, Arya and Millos' eyes met. Regret is very clear in his eyes, everything that happened to them can be said Aryalah is the cause.

Everything happened because they were chasing the intruder, Millospun let out a scream that made the South Pole air tremble violently at that time.

After flying for almost half an hour, Arya realized it seemed like the Chimera was trying to return to its nest in the mountains. It is visible from the highlands that lie around them.

"How could the aura of the black gem come from this creature?" chirping Arya at last.

"Okay, I don't really understand either" Rei said.

"My sister?!"

Arya almost took off her hold on the thread so surprised, from inside the robe Arya casually Pikku pulled out his head and turned to look around.

"My sister?! You've been hiding under my cloak all this time?" arya said astonished.

"My sister pikku"

Arya finally realizes she can't tell the Platynguins apart, it seems she has bid farewell to a wrong Platynguins.

"mmm? Where did you pick up these Platynguins Arya?" ask Rei interested.

"It's a long story, I'll tell you later"

"What the hell is going on?" asked Rena still with her eyes closed.

Suddenly their flying speed was decreasing and the ground level below them seemed to be getting closer. Arya immediately orders Rena to jump, they safely land on a pile of snow not far from where the Chimera landed.

"How was your umpteenth flying experience Miss?" Arya smiled as she helped Rena stand up.

"Uhh...stop teasing me" said Rena with a frown.

"My sister!"

"Well! What is this creature? So cute!" suddenly Rena was immediately excited and grabbed Pikku who appeared from behind Aryan robes.

"Pikku pikku pikku!" My sister revolted trying to escape from Rena's tight embrace.

"Rena Eee? I don't think it's the right time"

They then slowly sneak closer to the wounded Chimera, Arya then asks Rena to remain silent hiding there with Pikku while she herself will try to approach the creature as close as she can.

He was still inexhaustible as to why the creature could give off the aura of the South Black Winter Diamond, Rena is ready to be on standby to help immediately if things happen that are not desirable as Arya gets closer to the Chimera.

When their distance was only five meters apart, Rei suddenly interrupted slowly.

"Wait a minute.the sign....Fluffy?"

Right after the name was uttered by Rei, the three Chimera heads immediately turned their heads and looked at Arya ferociously. Arya immediately stopped her movements and smiled awkwardly at the creature, the Chimera immediately roared and breathed fire from her dragon head.

Arya immediately jumped up to dodge that sudden attack, but unfortunately the end of the robe was charred in flames. He immediately tried to get away from the fire-breathing three-headed creature as fast as he could.

"Fluffy? Who is Fluffy?! You gave a Chimera the name FLUFFY?!" arya shouted in disbelief.

"Of course not, that Fluffy is my pet goat and my sister when—"

"YOU NAMED A GOAT FLUFFY?!" Arya jumped avoiding the claw of the beast that was chasing her.

"Eee...yes actually she has fur that—"

"SATAN WITH FLUFFY FUR?! SHOULD YOU HAVE CALLED HER NAME AS IF SHE WAS A CUTE, FLUFFY CAT?! AWW....!" Arya felt the heat on the back of her body as a result of the burning tip of the robe.

Arya immediately turned around and slid through the crevices of the creature's legs, which was when she noticed something black in the middle of the head of the Chimera goat's forehead. He quickly drew his sword.

When the Chimera turned around, without a second thought Arya immediately stabbed her sword into the head of the goat. That roar of Chimera pain filled the air, slowly emerging something from the puncture wound that Arya had made.

Something thick and blackish in color, it continued to come out rapidly until it filled the surrounding area. When Arya realized that it was going to swallow them, she immediately turned to look towards Rena to reach her hand. Just when they were a few inches away, his eyes turned dark.

Arya immediately called out to Rena in panic, suddenly a voice sounded from next to her. He could slowly see the figures of Rena and Pikku right beside him.

"We...Where is it?" rena whispered a little scared.

"You're in my masterpiece" suddenly a voice sounded.

A middle-aged man with a messy look appeared before them, he wore a worn suit and casually stuck his arm in his pocket.

"You..is...." Arya tried to digest the situation.

"Include me is—"

"Tia?! How dare you poison Fluffy with your rotten gem!" cut off Rei while bringing out his form all of a sudden.

The middle-aged man raised next to his eyebrows, he looked quite surprised by Rei's appearance.

"Ahh...hello brother, as I recall I never invited you here" he whispered cynically.

"My fucking question answer!"

Arya and Rena were staring at each other in confusion. The middle-aged man realized that and immediately explained.

"I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself so well, my name is Notia Poles. You can call me Tia"

"You...Rei's sister?" ask Rena slowly.

"Unfortunately so" Tia replied with a wry smile.

"What did you say?!"

"Can't be Arya! This person must realize his mistake" Rei replied.

"Error?! I didn't do anything wrong! It was my last chance to keep my masterpiece. What's wrong with me implanting it in the creature I trust the most?" sahut Tia cynical.

The two again clashed with hate, making Arya and Rena have to intervene to mediate them.

"You made Fluffy evolve into a Chimera" Rei said in disbelief.

"What harm? He had a long life" Tia did not want to lose.

"You think how he feels living 2,000 years in the interior of the South Pole?!"

"ENOUGH! I'm sick of hearing your babble!" snapped Tia.

"I don't understand, you're the one who started this little brother" Rei shook his head in confusion.

"I'm sick of being in your shadows, especially after Shion—"

The point is that Tia is fed up of being in Rei's shadow, which is why she decided to create her own masterpiece. Especially after her encounter with Shion, her determination grew more and more unanimous to break away from her brother's shadow.

Tia then turned to Arya while saying "You're one of Shion's descendants aren't you? I always knew I had no meaning in his eyes"

"You're wrong, I'm like that too" Rei said, slowly hugging his sister.

At first Tia seemed like she would refuse, but in the end she returned her brother's embrace. Arya and Rena let the two sisters in for a moment, they didn't know what to do.

"I'm sorry I never realized it" Rei said softly.

"And forgive me also for being childish" said Tia.

The two then cast a warm glance at Arya, they thank her for bringing the two together and making their problems resolved.

"I didn't do anything, you're the one who solved your own problems" Arya scratched her head casually.

"You said you wanted to unite the two axes of the world, didn't you? Then do it" exclaimed Rei with vigor.

"But remember, his strength will be immense. Maybe your body could be destroyed" Tia recalled.

Slowly a smile broke on Arya's face "It's not what makes it worth trying"

As Arya's body returned to its original place, a black-colored jewel appeared in her grasp. The jewel gave off a pitch-black aura, the body of the Chimera next to Arya slowly disappeared.

Faintly appeared a tiny goat who rubbed his head briefly at Arya with gratitude, then the figure of the goat also began to disappear into the black starless sky that was there.

Arya and Rena were standing on the edge of the barrier between the North Pole and the high seas, a giant chunk of ice floating before them. On the surface of the giant ice there are many tiny creatures with greenish fur.

Arya then lowered her head and spoke to one of the tiny creatures.

"My sister here is not safe, go with your flock to the North Pole. When you get there, find Ragna and start a new life, Ragna will recognize you"

Arya pressed her thumb against Pikku's forehead, slowly appearing a white mark. The sign was in the form of an ice element emblem belonging to Arya, he was sure Ragna would notice it soon.

"Pikku pikku" Pikku immediately jumped up and hugged Arya.

"Together little friends, take care of yourself" Arya said.

When Pikku and his friends are out of sight, Arya can only pray that they can arrive safely. He had already instilled the ice power in that giant chunk of ice so that it would not be easy to melt.

Rena stood there waiting for her in silence, Arya immediately approached her with a smile.

"Rena let's get back to— soon"

A hand pierced through Rena's stomach, Arya widened her eyes to see the sight before her. Rena's body squeezed and she fell.

"CENE!" call Arya, Rei, and Tia together.

Arya immediately approached and embraced Rena, Rena spewing blood from her mouth. Arya's breath was not irregular so panicked, Rena then smiled while patting Arya's cheek slowly. Then when Arya tried to hold her hand, her hand lay on the ground.

"You think....can you leave after everything you've done?" millos asked while cleaning Rena's blood from her hands.

The Werewolves had surrounded them, there was no way out anymore. But Arya doesn't care, she's still trying to hear Rena's breath.

"Arya we have to hurry—" urged Rei and Tia to panic.

"Death" Millos raised his hand to order the Werewolf herd to attack.

"Aryan!"

"ARGH....!!!"

A person appeared from within the portal, his body completely red. He walked while holding a woman in his hand. A portal door guard officer immediately approached and asked in panic.

"Master! Lord Arya! You are okay?! What's going on?!"

"Where's Allucia?"

"What's? What did you say?"

"Don't make me repeat my words" Arya said as she looked at the officer coldly.

The body of the officer immediately shuddered and he immediately told where the location of Allucia, in the blink of an eye Arya arrived in front of the door of the room where Allucia was. He doesn't care about the people he runs into.

He kicked the door open, making Allucia and Bianchi in it very surprised. They both looked at him in astonishment. His body was red and gave off an extremely dense fishy smell, even his white hair had turned red at this moment.

"Master Arya? What's going on?" ask Bianchi.

"Please..please..save this child" he whispered.

Bianchi and Allucia immediately locked Arya's wrist, both kicking her knees so Arya bent her knees. Rena's body that was released from her grasp was immediately captured by Rea who appeared out of nowhere.

Astral jumped from behind and pressed Arya's head against the floor.

"ASTRAL..basal rancid boy.." growled Arya with a hoarse voice that is not like his voice.

"Press" Astral said.

A bluish light emerged from the ring she was wearing, Arya suddenly shouted so strongly that it made the entire Research Center tremble violently made. After the light disappeared, Arya's body softened and she fell unconscious.

"He...just controlled Mr. Arya's body" exclaimed Bianchi with a body drenched in cold sweat.

"How is Konoha?" ask Astral quickly.

"Worse, his internal organs were destroyed. Frone give him treatment immediately!"

"While I'm doing" Allucia came closer.

"I'll summon the medical witches and retrieve some useful Magical Plants" Rea darted out of the room quickly.

"Ukh...ini.if he gets here one second late, Rena can die" said Allucia.

"Gio...Do you think he deliberately helped Rena to come here?" bianchi asked at last.

"I don't know either" Astral replied as he looked at the unconscious Arya.
