Chapter 49 - The Mole Pathway
"That old fucker....?!" angrily Arya is upset while continuing to run on the alleys of Underground Paradise with Lexa trailing behind her.
Lexa whistled softly after seeing the scenery behind her.
"Air? It's just my feeling or....they do add up?"
"I hope it's just your feeling, come on! We need to get out of here, otherwise we can get more trapped"
The two of them then increase their speed, Arya's current mood is so bad. He did not expect for a while after he and Lexa came out of Vermaand's castle, one of his wives came out and shouted at them thieves while pointing at Arya and Lexa.
Immediately without a second thought the guards immediately hunted the two of them, that was what made them in this difficult situation.
"It should be that if he doesn't want to give it, just say it!" Arya snorted with a cautious look around her.
The guards slowly but surely had started to surround them from both sides of the different alley.
"Eh...??? But if she doesn't give it to me I can't find my hamster" Lexa puffed her cheek a sign of somewhat disagreeing with Arya's words just now.
"Yes.I mean that he doesn't have to act like a nice guy like that, he just has to say no. Then we'll find another way to get what we're looking for, no need to be a fugitive like this"

The sound of the shouts of their pursuers increasingly rang out clearly filling the air.
"Crossing the road in front of us turn right" Arya recalled.

"Hmm Aru? Didn't you tell me to turn left? Why do you look so disappointed?" lexa asked with an innocent look.
"I said turn right because the other direction is dead end.." replied Arya held back anger while ruffling her hair.
Far away they could already see the end of the alley, a tall wall standing firmly blocked their path.
"Do you have any ideas for us to get out of this bad situation?!" arya's lyrics empty to Lexa.
"Mmm.how about we use that map" Lexa suggested.
"Bingo!" arya exclaimed while patting both of her hands.
They still had hope of being free from this precarious state, hurriedly Arya took out the map they got from Vermaand. The hope of escaping the bad situation soon evaporates after Arya catches a glimpse of the contents of the story.
"What the fuck?!" Arya shakes in disbelief.
"Hm? What's up?" reply Lexa while glancing at the contents of the map.
The contents of the map were filled with intricate streets that not even the two of them had seen in Underground Paradise. At certain points on the map there are numbers that may be intended as markers.
"How can we possibly read this map if we don't even know where we are?!" arya's nagging.
"Do you think the King tricked us?"
"It should have been impossible, because clearly the contents of the box had only this map. And even if it were completely fake, he wouldn't bother making the guards hunt us down like now"
"Then...what should we do?"
"First of all we have to take care of what is behind us" Arya replied firmly as she turned around and grabbed the handle of Mandalika.
Hordes of guards were running towards them with guns raised, just as their distance was getting closer. An object that was visible and about the size of a round ball fell from above, everyone stared at it in surprise.
Suddenly the object opened while making a loud noise, thick smoke filled the alley. Making everyone's visibility disturbed, Arya and Lexa immediately covered their noses with robes.
"Smoke bomb?" arya was confused.
Moments later six figures turned their backs, Arya and Lexa glanced at each other in disbelief.
"you guys? What are you doing here?!"
Gill, Rose, Lam, Lim, Karam, and Zakam surprisingly stood there as if protecting Arya and Lexa.
"Initially we roamed around here hoping you would treat us after getting a gift from the King" Gill explained.
"But it seems like the situation is not possible" Karam added.
"What do you think of our bomb?" tanya Lam and Lim were excited.
"Go, we'll keep them here" whispered Rose casually.
"Are you guys okay? We don't want to get you all in trouble" Arya still looks doubtful.
"Calm down, but before that. Axel?" Rose then approached Arya quickly.
"I..I.hey?"
"May I ask you something?"
"Eee. Why not?"
"Please.elus my head" said Rose overjoyed as she thrust her head.
"Huh?—"
"Easy! Just do!"
Arya did as she requested, after which Rose immediately turned around and excitedly shouted while lunging at the guards.
"Yosh...in this way I'll get more excited! Get ready for you guys to get excited!"
"Is it true just because the head elucidant can become such a spirit?" arya was confused.
"Hmmm...." Lexa glanced at Arya with a strange look, then suddenly pinched Arya's arm.

"Tin" he said slowly.
"Alright Tin, I thank you for helping us. But we can't leave now"
Arya glanced at Lexa for a moment, she nodded without hesitation to show that she did not mind telling Tin.
"We're looking for something" Arya added.
"Hm? Then maybe I can help you" sambar Tin was excited.
According to Arya there was no harm in trying, then he thrust the map to Tin while asking.
"Do you know how to read this map?"
Tin's mouth gaped wide after looking at the contents of the map, stammering he replied.
"I.in.in.this...map Mole Pathway!?"
"Mole Pathway?" reload Arya and Lexa together.
"That's the name we gave to the waterway that's under the Underground Paradise! But there are some paths that I've never seen before based on the map you're carrying"
"Can you take us there?" ask Lexa with sparkling eyes.
"of course! Comeing! One of the entrances is not far from here" Tin replied with a happy smile.

The three of them finally arrived at the entrance of the Mole Pathway, this entrance was numbered 141 based on the map belonging to Arya and Lexa according to Tin. The entrance is in the form of a hole hidden under one of the jumbo-sized trash cans.
Without lingering they immediately entered the hole, Arya was the one who entered last to make sure the hole was hidden back. Inside the Mole Pathway they were greeted by a darkness that made them unable to even see each other's bodies.
"Geez! I forgot to bring a lighting kit!" exclaim Tin in panic.
The sound of water flow echoing throughout the underground tunnel, Arya brandished one finger while focusing whispering.
"Brillante"
An extremely bright light emerged from the tip of Arya's index finger, making Lexa and Tin gasp as their eyes had just adapted to the darkness. Tin's eyes widened in amazement at the light while Lexa looked at Arya while tilting her head.
"How do you do it Aru?"
"This? It's just a simple technique" Arya casually replied.
Though cold sweat had washed down her nape, the one who had just found out she had Elf blood was only Rena. He had not told the Supervisors nor his other friends, fortunately Lexa seemed to have received that answer and did not ask any further.
The three then continue their journey until they finally arrive at a point with the number 129 on the map. On the map is seen a long tunnel entrance that leads directly to the middle of the Mole Pathway, which according to Arya is where the site is located.
"As I said, there are some paths I've never seen before. Especially the long tunnel that leads to the middle of this" Tin said with a guilty face.
"Lexa?" call Arya.
Lexa then placed her hand against the wall while closing her eyes, moments later she spoke with confidence.
"It's not wrong, there's another tunnel behind this wall"
"Eh?!"
"Alright" Arya chirped and stood up while holding Mandalika.
He began to knock on the walls and floors that were there using the Mandalika handle, after several times doing so. Finally he found a place where the sound of the knock sounded different, just immediately he poked the wall and made the wall shift to show the secret path behind it.
"Bingo" he exclaimed satisfied.
Arya and Lexa immediately entered the secret passageway, before going any further they both turned their heads towards Tin.
"I actually want to take you away, but the place we're headed to might be very dangerous. I don't want you to be wretched, and you have something precious to protect, do you?" arya asked with a smile.
Tin nodded while returning Arya's smile sincerely. Arya and Lexa then throw their money bags at Tin.
"Get it, you need it more. You can also keep the map, use it well. Get back upstairs before you can't see the way out, Dah....!"
"Sister!?" call Tin make their steps both stop.
"Hmm?"
"May I know...your real names?"
"Lexa Brown"
"Arya Frost, the current generation Elementalist"
Right after Arya replied, the wall immediately closed and returned to its original state. Tin directly climbed out through the entrance of 129, he heard the commotion of the city while smiling proudly as he had found out who his life role model was.

Arya and Lexa continue their journey in silence, after maybe about two hours down the hall they finally see the light in the distance. Arya had expected the distance passed would be quite long because on the map it also looks like that.

"Oi Lexa! Be carefull! We don't know how old this tunnel is, what if it collapses?" Arya shook her head in disbelief.
But Lexa ignored Arya's words and kept speeding towards the exit. The steps of the two halted when they saw the scene that greeted them, a vast field stretched out before Arya and Lexa.
Right in the middle there is a large building made of giant stone that looks slanted.
"Earth Temple" they said at the same time.
The two of them then cheered happily because they had made it to that place, Arya had confidence that Lexa's Elemental Beast was indeed there.
"Mmm Aru? Is this just my feeling or is the ground shaking?" ask Lexa.
Arya did feel a little strange, like there was a large creature that stepped up and made the ground shake.
"I also felt it but—"
Before Arya finished her sentence, a loud bang behind them lifted the two off the ground. Slowly the two of them turned their heads before shouting out all their might.
"AAA....!???"
A gigantic Golem figure returned their cries with a no less loud roar, Arya immediately pulled Lexa's arm to get away from the creature's reach.
"Run! Run towards the Earth Temple now!!!" Aryan orders.
Both of them immediately darted without looking back at the slightest, the tremors on the ground made them know that the creature had not given up.
"Lexa...!? Slow down the creature!"
"How?!"
"Whatever! Make him stumble or whatever! What matters is that he's stuck"
Lexa then stomped her feet firmly, a small wall appeared between the legs of the Golem. But that was more than enough, the creature fell down in a loud voice. Directly Arya swiftly trap the creature by making frozen soil around there.
They reached the entrance of the Earth Temple with breaths of breath.
"That thing doesn't follow us anymore, does it?" ask Lexa.
"I hope so" Arya replied, propped up on her knees.

Arya then finally went in to catch up with Lexa a few minutes later, she walked carefully and casually. But all that changed when suddenly a hysterical scream filled the air.
"YAHOO!!!"
"LEXA...?!" call Arya panic.
