For A Husband Who Doesn't Love Me

For A Husband Who Doesn't Love Me
11. The Arrival of Mother and Mother-in-Law

It's almost ten in the evening, but Hidayat hasn't come home yet. Usually Maira never waited like this, but for this time she looked anxious while watching the clock repeatedly.

He wanted to call, but still in the end he paused. Hidayat's attitude has never been polite to him since they were married, so is it possible that his phone will be picked up? Before long, the sound of a car was heard stopping right in front of the house. Maira's heart grew agitated, she quickly ran to the door and peered through the glass window.

"Oh my God, my mother has come again..." Mumbles anxiety.

Maira tried to calm herself down first before she opened the door. Many times he took a deep breath, then threw it away slowly. His heart was racing, and he still had to look excited in front of his mother and mother-in-law.

Maira opened the door wide, as wide as the smile she was forcing. "Mother!"

He ran to the courtyard of the moonlit house, then greeted the two mothers with a pampered embrace. "Maira kangen, Mother..."

"Where is your life, son? How alone to get out?" Maira's mother asked while flirting to the wide open door of the house.

"Bang Hidayat hasn't come home yet, ma'am... In a minute..." Maira replied trying not to be nervous.

"Where is your husband? Why is his wife even left behind at night?" Omel Bu Zainab's.

"Bang Hidayat didn't know Mom was coming today, she said tomorrow... So bang Hidayat did not immediately go home from college, because the task of the lecture bang Hidayat stacked he said, Mom..." Maira reasoned.

"Well, who helped Dawn to make the bike?" Ask Bu Zainab to look worried.

"You can do it yourself, Mom... Just put it down, different if you go upin earlier..." Dawn, the travel driver said while trying to bring down the matic motor owned by the late Ajiz who asked Maira a few days ago to his mother-in-law.

"It can, Jar... If not, let the three of us help..." Sela Maira's mother.

"It can, Mom... I'm a little bit away, scared of the bike..."

The three of them could only obey Fajar's words while staring anxiously.

"Alhamdulillah..." They said at the same time when the motorbike had been successfully taken down from the car.

"Come, Mom, we're in now... It's cold outside..." Take Maira while carrying the luggage of her mother and mother-in-law, then return to put the motor into the house.

"Both Dawn stopped by first, yeah..." Her mother Maira bargained.

"No, Mom, thank you... I'm just in mes tonight... Tomorrow I'll have to pick up the rent..." Reject Dawn.

"Owh... Thank you, yes, Jar... Don't get tired of carrying mom everywhere..."

"Ah, I should have said that, Mom... It's good to be Mom's subscription..." Reply Dawn. "Then I say goodbye, ma'am... It's night. Ms. Zainab and her mother Ajiz must also rest..."

"Yes, be careful..." Sahut Bu Zainab's.

"Assynoltom..."

"Wa'alaikum hail..." Maira's heart was with her mother and mother-in-law.

Inside the house, Maira began to think about how she made her mother and mother-in-law not feel suspicious about her life with Hidayat.

"Would you like to eat?"

"And I've called Maira if you want to eat on the street. Maira doesn't cook much, does she?" Said Mrs Zainab.

"No, ma'am... Any idea you're hungry again, Maira's just gonna cook for a little while..."

"No, Son... We're already very full. Last night Dawn stopped at a nice restaurant, not the usual place..." Timpal Maira's.

"If so, Mom takes a break, huh? Maira's mothers must be tired... We sleep in Zahra's room together..."

"Zahra's room? Didn't you guys sleep there?" Ask Bu Zainab to be astonished.

"Eh? Hmmmm... Maira sleeps there, Mom..." Maira replied beginning to clumsy.

"Eh. he... I-yes, Mom... Maira means so..." Maira answered nervously.

"We slept in the guest room... The newlyweds sleep accompanied?" Kelakar Maira's mother.

"Once, Mom... Maira kangen..." Persuade Maira.

Hidayat glanced at his phone. It was ten in the evening, but he had no interest in leaving the park. His arms were still tightly flanked by the beautiful girl he loved.

Huh, love? Yes, the definition of his own thoughts on his feelings for Kirana Adila. Then, do you hate Maira? I don't know. He himself cannot answer. There's nothing bad about Maira, everything's perfect. But, he only had one answer, namely that his heart had first anchored to Kirana.

"It doesn't feel like coming home, but you'll also have to work tomorrow..." Oceh Kirana spoiled.

"Then we go home, okay? You should shoot too, right?" Hidayat sounded so soft.

How could Kirana not feel at ease? While Hidayat treated himself so special.

"I'm not your affair, am I? I don't want any sloping news in the media, if one day our relationship is suddenly exposed..." Kirana's words did not heed Hidayat's persuasion.

"In the time of the two of us, didn't you promise not to discuss this?"

"But..."

"I know, you feel uneasy, uncomfortable too... Life is a choice, Kiran... She chose to accept me to be her husband, even though she knew I didn't love her. Meanwhile, I chose to marry her for my mother's sake, and you chose to stay by my side regardless of my status... I thank you for that, because you still trust me..." Hidayat.

"But when are we like this?" Kirana's sad protest.

"Until he gives up... For me it might be a bit difficult... Here, for my mom's sake... If she gives up, I think my mother will understand..." Hidayat answered with great confidence.

"All right..." Kirana's voice is lethargic. He leaned his head against Hidayat's shoulder.

"Don't be sad... Let's go home..." Take Hidayat to make Kirana smile.

Kirana according. Three times a week Hidayat meets Kirana secretly. Starting from the girl waiting at the gate of the campus, then ending when she drove Kirana to her apartment.

"I need money for my father's medical expenses, I transferred all of them to the hospital yesterday..." Kirana complains while leaning against Hidayat's shoulder while they are on their way to the apartment.

"How much money do you need?" Tanya Hidayat sounded concerned.

"Twelve million..."

"I exist... Tomorrow I transfer, yes..." Saying a calming Hidayat.

"But..."

"It's okay, Kiran... I know, like me for my mother's sake, so you for your father's..."

"Why are you so good? I'm afraid I'll have to let you go later..."

Hidayat took Kirana's hand which was perched on her thigh, then he circled it to her waist. "Do you have any intention of letting go of me? Aren't you going nowhere?"
