For A Husband Who Doesn't Love Me

For A Husband Who Doesn't Love Me
25. Fevers

Kirana walks to her apartment. His heart still hurt after seeing the harmony of Hidayat and his wife earlier. It felt like he wanted to give up, but on the other side of his heart, he was unwilling.

Arriving in her apartment, Kirana immediately shook her body onto the mattress. Several times his phone rang only he ignored it. His heart was too tired to listen to his stepmother. Because, he was sure there was nothing else but money that his stepmother would talk about.

Kirana recalls her time with Hidayat, a time when Hidayat was unmarried and always made her smile. He looked at the little photos of them that he had been keeping for days close to his reach.

"I'm not sure how easily I can fall in love with you, Yat... But why would it hurt to see you with your wife smile at each other? You forgot your promise, did you? You are not playing in front of anyone, Yat. You two are there..." Kirana said in her sadness. He sobbed himself remembering his cherry Hidayat with Maira earlier.

"Dad..." Kirana. He could not hold the pain in his heart.

On the other hand, Hidayat looks so happy with Maira. After cleaning themselves, they immediately lay their bodies on the bed. Although Maira faced Hidayat with a smile, but her heart was still wondering, why did her husband not ask for his rights?

He also did not dare to offer himself. She hoped that the one who opened her veil was her own husband if they were in the room together, looking at the most beautiful crown of hers with pride.

"Tomorrow Maira there's a morning lecture, now we're sleeping, yeah... Maira must be tired..." Take Hidayat while looking at Maira with a clear twinkle in his eyes. His index finger was also busy rubbing Maira's soft and smooth cheeks.

Maira just smiled. He tried to hide his nervousness because he was curious about Hidayat's attitude.

Maira closed her eyes. Lie if he feels that he is not tired tonight. Seeing the innocence of Maira's face, Hidayat kissed her forehead.

His feelings are getting bigger. His heart is racing, and his desire is great to be able to have Maira completely tonight. But he was helpless because of his stupidity, his lies hampered it all.

Hidayat clasped Maira's hand very tightly. Hugged his wife's arm, then fell asleep in sweat.

In the middle of the night, Maira woke up feeling her left hand was so numb. He was jolted to see Hidayat's face covered in sweat, his thick hair also looked shiny due to the light of the lamp. There were sweat dots on the tip of her husband's hair.

Maira rolled her eyes towards her hand which was still stiff and warm. apparently Hidayat locked his hand very tightly. She began to slowly incline, then wiped the sweat off her husband's forehead.

"Astaghfirullah's..." Maira surprised. He just realized that Hidayat's face looks very pale, and his body temperature feels very hot.

"Remember..." Call Maira panic.

"Emmm..." Hidayat looked up for a while, then went back to sleep. His breath was stinging.

"Oh Allah, Brother has a fever..." Maira said increasingly looking anxious. Maira tried her hardest to justify Hidayat's sleeping position. Eve her husband's hot body, made her shed tears.

"Maira, I'm sorry Brother..." Hidayat's words sounded weak in his delirium. "Sorry Brother, Mai....Maira don't be mad... Mary don't leave brother..."

Maira was stunned for a moment, but Hidayat did not open his eyes. Only her tears explained the sadness in her heart. Although she was unconscious, her pale face, and dry lips made her look perfectly stifled.

"Maira's not going anywhere... Maira will stay here with Brother... Wait a minute, yeah... Maira get the compress first..." Maira said in a panic. He seems to be out of his mind in such a situation. Seeing the husband she loved lying sick.

He rushed to look for the medicine box, then returned to Hidayat's side with a trembling body. She put a temperature thermometer into her husband's mouth, and while waiting, she would occasionally wipe Hidayat's sweat with a small towel.

"How can a fever be like this? Last night you were okay..." Complain Maira. He could not hold back his tears that continued to flow.

Maira takes care of Hidayat lovingly. Sometimes she sobbed, wiping her own tears because she felt she could not bear to see her husband so weak.

Almost an hour she was made up by the fog state of Hidayat, and now her husband's body temperature was back to normal. He started to calm down a little.

At half-time, Maira again laid her body beside her husband. He hoped to stay awake to keep Hidayat who had started to sleep peacefully, but his tired body would not allow it. He fell asleep again.

Azan dawn reverberating. Hidayat woke up from his sleep. He felt on his forehead something, making him a little uncomfortable. Slowly his hand reached out to something that was stuck on his forehead.

"Cracker compress?" Mumbled confusion. He immediately rose from his sleep, and only then did he feel his body was so strange.

Hidayat looked to the side, looking Maira was still asleep in her sleep. "Indeed a little lethargic, but Brother was not aware that Brother had a fever last night... Must be bothering Maira..."

Hidayat kissed Maira's cheeks very carefully. He was afraid to disturb the sleep of his wife who still looked exhausted, then he went down to the bathroom.

Maira wakes. However, he was used to waking up in the morning. He saw Hidayat not beside him anymore. He rushed to the bathroom. When he was about to knock on the bathroom door, Hidayat had first opened it from the inside.

Maira was surprised with round eyes, while her hands were still floating parallel to her ears. Her chest of fireworks saw the figure of Hidayat standing in front of her dressed in a light brown towel covering the waist to her knees, almost matching the color of her husband's yellow skin Langsat.

"Maira?" Calling Hidayat made Maira flinch and then spontaneously turned her back to her husband.

"Sorry, Maira kira... Emm..." Maira said nervously. His face flushed early in the morning from seeing something he had never seen before in Hidayat.

"Maira wants ablution first, Bang..." Pamit Maira lowered her head and walked beside Hidayat into the bathroom.

Hidayat was surprised to see Maira's behavior. He didn't realize that it was him who made Maira act that strangely.

Maira closed the bathroom door quickly, then washed her face in the sink. Many times she breathed a long breath, trying to control her feelings that had floated when she saw the beautiful body of her husband.

"Geez, what are you thinking, Maira?" His grunts while hitting his head.
