At almost eight in the evening, Maira replaced her bed sheet with Zahrana's favorite mustard color. Every now and then he looked at the wall of the room to see the numbers stuck in a circle there. As the needle in the middle goes, then his heart is pounding more and more.
He's so nervous. The quiet atmosphere of the house increasingly makes his heart feel uncertain, remembering Hidayat's words this morning to him. The blood in his body was flowing so fast into the crown when his ears heard the Hidayat motor machine entering the yard.
He had no idea how he was feeling at the moment, so nervous and awkward.
"Assynoltom..."
"Wa-wa'alaikum hail..." Maira stood by the bed staring at Hidayat's arrival. He's so tense. His body shivered holding back his feelings.
"Ummm it smells so good..." Hidayat said as he smelled the room, then walked towards Maira. He thrust out his hand, and then greeted Maira with his slightly trembling hand.
"Maira why? How do you look so nervous?" Ask Hidayat in confusion.
"Huh? Really yeah? It's a mediocre feeling, Bang..." Maira answered trying to neutralize her feelings.
Hidayat smiled. He now began to realize why the look on his wife's face was not as usual. Hidayat gently pulled Maira's shoulder onto the sofa.
"Maira is praying?" Ask while rubbing Maira's cheek.
"It's been... Brother how?"
"Even so..."
Hidayat's hand was still rubbing Maira's cheek, while his unblinking eyes stared at the bead of the eye which was also looking at her lovingly.
"Dear dear to Maira..." Lirih.
Maira smiled as she nodded. She clasped Hidayat's hand on her cheek, and leaned her head against her husband's palm.
The hidayat slowly shifted, further making their position docked to each other. He was still conscious of himself, but this no longer had a reason for him to delay. This was one of his greatest obligations to Maira, and to be honest he needed it as well. He is a normal and healthy man.
Hidayat began to erode the distance between their faces, and Maira slowly closed her eyes. Hidayat's other hand held Maira's nape, and he fused their lips together. They both feel great pleasure. It's not the first time they've done it, but it's no lie if they can count that this is the second time.
A few minutes later Hidayat let go, and slowly Maira also opened her eyes.
"Maira is ready?" Hidayat asked as he looked closely into Maira's eyes.
Maira nodded slowly.
"Then I take a shower, yeah... Maira wait for Brother in bed for a while... Brother won't be long..." Hidayat said as he opened his alma mater and then walked towards the bathroom.
Not only was Maira, she was also very nervous. This was also the first time for him to have any further relationships.
***
Hidayat came out of the bathroom. Her pajamas were on the edge of the bed. But he felt surprised, Maira instead sat there covered with a blanket.
After putting on his pajamas, he rushed up to approach his wife. He did not want to ask anything, afraid of ruining Maira's current mood. He understood his wife was still a plain girl even though they had been married for months.
Maira's body looks tense as Hidayat approaches her, looking so strong fingers squeezing a blanket on her knees.
Hidayat took a look at Maira's cheek, then gently kissed her forehead. Moments later his lips recited the prayer at the top of his wife's head, making Maira's heart touched. A prayer that he should have heard long ago from the mouth of Hidayat.
"May you open Maira's hijab?" Ask Hidayat carefully.
Maira nodded. He became nervous and closed his eyes. Hidayat slowly pulled Maira's hijab, looking Maira's hair rolled straight down.
Seeing the beauty that emanated from Maira's face, Hidayat felt his heartbeat hunt down. "Ma-Maira is beautiful..."
Maira slowly reopened her eyes. He saw Hidayat staring at him. He smiled while holding Hidayat's hand.
"If Maira is beautiful, then Maira promises to keep Maira's beauty only to Abang..." Maira replied to her husband's gaze.
"Thank you, Maira... Brother really loves Maira..."
"Maira too..."
Hidayat pulled Maira's shoulder slowly onto the pillow. He kissed Maira's forehead, then both cheeks, and then followed by his fingers that began to open one by one the buttons of his wife's clothes.
This time Hidayat did not feel disturbed at all, because there was no rejection from Maira's attitude. His wife seemed to be enjoying the living he gave her tonight. It's just that he is very understanding, because they are both the first time they feel worldly pleasure.
Several times the release felt perfect, and they were already equally exhausted. Sweat soaked the bed, making Maira look uncomfortable. The white oblong that was previously without the slightest pattern, now looks some evidence of purity that Maira has only for Hidayat alone.
"Thank you, honey... Brother really loves Maira..." Said Hidayat, wrapping his hand around his wife's neck.
Maira smiled with her eyes closed. The shame had not yet disappeared from his heart. He dipped his face into Hidayat's wet chest.
Hidayat pulled Maira's body to the edge of the dry bed. He looked so exhausted, and soon fell asleep in a blanket with Maira.
A soft snore could be heard peeling at Maira's ears. Slowly he got up and looked for his clothes, then got out of bed to go to the bathroom. It was still imagined by him the earthly paradise he had just felt.
Maira shed her tears in front of the sink. Happy feelings mixed up to make him unable to hold back his feelings. Long enough he waited for his love to return, and tonight he felt it. She really felt that her husband only loved her. The gentle treatment he received was so sincere.
Because it was almost midnight, he was only holy and ablution. She returned to bed and looked at her husband and fell asleep beside him.
The next morning Hidayat woke up. Outside still heard people teaching from the nearest mosque toa. The dawn is near, but Maira is still asleep.
Hidayat smiled. I don't know why he doesn't want to be away from Maira in the slightest. He kissed Maira's forehead for so long, making her wake up.
"Astaghfirullah hal'azhiim's... What time is it, Bang?" Maira flinched and tried to get up from her sleep.
"Pause at the mosque... Not azan yet... Maira how surprised is that?" Hidayat rubbed Maira's head. He tilted his body towards Maira and propped his head up with his own elbow.
"Will not go to the mosque?" Maira's question shifted her feelings due to the gentle and loving treatment from her husband.
"Yes... This brother wants to take a shower, but it doesn't feel like being away from Maira..."
"What's that?"
"No idea... Maybe because Brother really has been fascinated by the beauty of his wife this brother..." Say Hidayat while peeping Maira's forehead.
"O you who believe, let not your wealth and your children neglect you from remembering Allah. Whoever makes them, they are the losers.... You know that verse, right? Still got a wife, not to mention a son and a sultan..." Maira said while flanking Hidayat's cheeks that were above his face.
"Astaghfirullah's... Surat Al-Munafiqun verse nine... Yes, Abang bathe directly to the mosque... Thank you for Maira's reminding you..." Hidayat said as he rushed to the bathroom.
Maira smiled at her husband's behavior that really seemed to feel sinful.
