For A Husband Who Doesn't Love Me

For A Husband Who Doesn't Love Me
19. Lousy

In a room, it appeared that the middle-aged man was lying weakly on the bed. Several life support devices are also attached to his body, indicating he is in a state of severe pain.

"Assalamualaikum, Dad..." A girl dressed in shari'i entered his room. Gently wash it and a radiant face.

The girl who was none other than Kirana Adila, immediately approached beside the man lying down. He held a weak and helpless old hand. Only her eyes were moving trying to hint at something.

"Dad, Kiran's been here a week... But, still Kiran heavily left Dad. Kiran still misses and wants to linger with Dad..." His words showed a forced smile. Kirana's eyes look red and teary.

"Just, Kiran still has to go back to the city, Dad... Tomorrow there's filming, the latest movie and the much-anticipated fan Kiran, Dad..."

The man he called father responded with a blink of an eye. The sadness of his empty and empty eyes.

"Kiran understands, I definitely want Kiran to keep wearing clothes like this even though Kiran is filming though. But, Dad... Kiran has no role for the hijab-wearing women anymore, while Kiran has to play all that Kiran can, while making money... Kiran wants you to get well soon, and we'll get together again..."

Kirana was unable to hold back her tears. He put his father's palm to his cheek. "Father quickly healed... Kirana's tired, Dad... Kiran wants to stop, then Kiran marries the man who loves Kiran..."

Kirana's father's tears also dripped. He seemed to understand what his daughter was feeling, but he was so weak and could do nothing.

"Crying like this won't make your father recover, Kiran..." The cry of a middle-aged woman sounded so violent from the direction of the door, making Kirana bow in lethargy.

"There go... The money you loved yesterday is almost gone, and you said you don't have any more savings, right?" Said the woman while walking towards her, then forced Kirana's arm to rise.

"But, Mum..." Kirana tried to protest, but her body was pushed to her father's feet.

"You want to wait for your father's death first, huh?" The woman he calls mother.

Kirana looked at her father's face, and then she sobbed. It was so devastated to see the number one man lying weak and helpless on the bed.

"Hurry, Kiran... The car is waiting for you in front..." Hardik's mother again while pulling Kirana's arm violently.

"Wait, Mom..." Kirana sounded clear. He tried to get his hand out of his mother's grip.

"Sir Kiraaan...!" A little girl in a red-and-white uniform ran over, sending her mother into disarray to force Kirana to rise.

"Dye?" Kirana wiped her tears, then smiled as she spread her hands welcoming the girl.

"Why're you home from school?" Kirana asked as if nothing had happened.

"It's been... Oh yeah, Ayu just saw there's a car in front, Brother want to go now?" Tanya Ayu looked sad, while her mother folded her hands to her chest.

"Yes, honey... Today, my brother has to leave. Tomorrow, Brother's filming..." Kirana answered so gently.

"Yaaa, whereas Ayu wants to invite Ayu's school friends to meet Sister tomorrow. They're all huge fans of Kiran..." Ayu looked disappointed.

"Oh, huh? Hmm how, huh?" Kirana looked as if she was thinking hard, then smiled as if she was about to come up with an idea. "Why if Ayu loves Ayu's friends a small book that already has Brother's signature instead...?"

"Hmmm, it's okay, brother... At least their disappointment was slightly treated with it..."

Kirana says goodbye to her father, then leaves the room with Ayu. While the woman he called mother smiled cynically towards her father. Seen the look of anger from the eyes of Kirana's father to his mother, but he was powerless to do anything.

"You see for yourself how unfortunately Kiran is towards Ayu, right? So, stop hoping that Kirana will give up on all this. He will remain the backbone, and work hard to finance my life and Ayu's... Until anytime, Kirana only knows that Ayu is her half-sister. A child born from his father's marriage to his stepmother. Be thankful you're not dead, Mom... Because with you, I can still use your beloved daughter..."

Hidayat smiled to himself. It has just begun, and there are many other beautiful things that he will live with Maira. Looking at Maira's face alone has made her so happy, especially if she continues to be by his wife's side.

Time has just entered the Maghrib, but the class is not over for today. After a short break to pray, he had to return to college.

Hidayat was so impatient. He often saw his watch, occasionally stealing the opportunity to open his phone.

As he waited, time became felt long by him. Today's class ended at eight o'clock. He came out of the room with a big smile.

Arriving at the motor park, his steps stopped instantly. A woman who was no stranger to him was suddenly there, waiting for him while playing his phone on Hidayat's motorbike.

Hidayat's face turned tense. Some days he had forgotten about the girl, and was busy reassuring his own feelings for Maira.

Slowly he moved his foot towards the bike. Dodging was also useless at this moment.

"Kirana...?"

The girl turned her head quickly, then ran after Hidayat's position. "I miss... You too, right?"

The mask-covered face looked up, staring at Hidayat's nervous face.

Hidayat was stunned, his heart was trembling. A new beginning to her marriage relationship with Maira has been established, but she forgets to end her love affair with Kirana.

"When are you coming?" Tanya Hidayat distracted Kirana who almost hugged her.

"Just now..."

"Not coming home?"

Kirana shakes. "It's usually like this, right? Arriving in this city, I went straight to see you... While at home, we never communicate at all..."

"If so, now I'll drive you home, okay?" Bujuk Hidayat's. It was very curious to be frank, but seeing Kirana's tired face, she became completely wrong.

"I'm hungry... I want to eat with you..." Kirana's face was pouting.

"How about just getting wrapped up? You can eat in the apartment, just take a break..." Persuading Hidayat tried to avoid the atmosphere that was so unpleasant for him. Just this time he felt uneasy and uncomfortable being near Kirana.

Has this love faded? Why is everything changing awkwardly? And why does he feel scared? Afraid Maira will find out about her relationship with Kirana, then everything turns terrible.

"I feel like I'm giving up, Yat... I want to tell you everything tonight..." Sneaky Kirana.

Maybe this is also a good time to talk about it with Kiran...
