Hidayat looked at Kirana from a distance. He is in a dilemma, confused to determine the circumstances that become difficult when he has realized his feelings for Maira. Nor would it be nice to have to be frank with Kirana to end all their relationship.
He decided to meet Kirana on this occasion, then talk tomorrow, tomorrow-tomorrow or when he felt ready.
"Assynoltom..." Kirana said with a smile welcoming the arrival of Hidayat towards him who was waiting beside the parked Hidayat motorbike.
"Wa'alaikum hail..." Hidayat forced his smile.
"I know you came out early today... You must be bored, right? After magrib we will play to the park, yuk..." Take Kirana while taking Hidayat's arm.
Hidayat slowly released his hand from Kirana's grasp, making the girl moody in confusion.
"Did I stay a week, did you love her?" Ask Kirana.
"Kira..." Hidayat prepared to talk, but Kirana shook her head.
"No, right? Must be because you were troubled by your mother... It's okay, Yat... Doesn't matter... I'm still with my stance, and I'll stick to my stance..." Kirana said only to strengthen herself.
"Kira..."
"Come, Yat, we're going to the park..." Cut Kirana fast. It was as if he did not want to hear anything from Hidayat's mouth.
"I'll take you to the apartment, yeah... I have overtime today... Shopping stuff came in, and we haven't had time to unpack it... A lot of customers ordered the item, while the stock in the warehouse ran out..." Bujuk Hidayat's.
"Not again tonight?" Kirana's gaze was getting miserable. His eyes were glazed over, it seemed like he was really injured.
"Sorry, Kiran..." Said Hidayat while riding his motorbike.
"alright... The day after I didn't shoot, I wish we could walk..." Kirana said, then got on the Hidayat motorbike.
On the bike, they only speak a thousand languages. No jokes like before. Kirana wrapped her hands around Hidayat's waist, and she began to lean her chin towards Hidayat's shoulder. His face pouted, his tears rolling down his cheeks. He could feel the change in his girlfriend's attitude.
Hidayat only turned his head for a moment to his numb stomach flanked by Kirana's hands. Although she wants to be honest, she can trust Kirana, the kind woman who did all this for her father. He saw very well the tears of sincerity mixed with pain in the girl.
Once they were in the apartment, Kirana got off Hidayat's motorbike, then she passed by without saying goodbye.
Hidayat just gawked. He knew this hurt Kirana, and in his mind, he felt guilty about hurting Maira. His rush in choosing the decision at that time, being Kirana's lover, made his story almost the same as his brother's late home story.
He would hurt Kirana's feelings even further, also lying to his wife for longer. Why would Zahrana be braver than her in a situation like this? Sometimes, even almost all the time, every time when Kirana suddenly appears. Then he will wonder so.
Hidayat stopped by the nearest mosque first. Azan magrib was heard calling with shahdu. His heart was still agitated, the longer he held back from talking to Kirana, the longer he cheated on his wife.
After praying, Hidayat stopped by the warteg to buy dinner along with snacks and drinks. After that he went straight to the stall. He and his wife and a kiosk employee have agreed to be there for overtime tonight.
Hidayat arrived at the kiosk along with his five employees, while Maira had been inside the stall alone. He didn't come home after the stall closed this afternoon.
Rolling door open kiosk. Maira appeared revealing her sweet smile from within.
"Assynoltom..." Say Hidayat along with the others.
"Wa'alaikum hail..." Maira replied as she welcomed Hidayat's hand.
"What is praying?"
"It's been... Maira?"
"Even so..."
"You're all praying too, right?" Maira asked while looking at Rizki and the others.
"Please help bring us dinner, Ki..." Pinta Hidayat while pointing at his motor.
"Ready, Bang..."
They got into the stall, then started work.
"It's the first time Maira unloads shopping stuff, right?" Ask Hidayat so gently. His face began to shine again. He forgets everything by his wife's side.
"Yes..." Maira replied while nodding.
"Maira just hold the note, yeah... Don't be tired... Check the item number we mentioned. Okay.." - Okay..." Hidayat.
"OK..." Sahut Maira according.
"Bismilahbornrahmanirrahim..." Say them at the same time, then start playing scissors opening a neatly arranged box in front of them.
"Twenty packs of baby wine shampoos..." Rizki cried while removing the item he called it from the big box, then arranged by other employees on the shelf. While Zahrana is busy looking for the name of the item mentioned, then he checks the list if it matches the written one. As soon as it's done.
Occasionally a joking sounding among them, boisterous laughter stirred up their atmosphere and morale.
"Looking at Abang with Neng Maira, we remembered the same brother Zahra and bang Ajiz..." Irul said looking sad.
Maira termangu heard Irul's words. He also looks sad. Seeing Maira's sad face, Hidayat immediately rubbed his head.
"It's not just us who's lost, Maira... But many people, including them... Our brothers are wonderful, leaving pain for the people they leave behind..." Hidayat's words calmed Maira down.
Maira smiles. He nodded in response to Hidayat's words. Her heart was a little relieved, had Hidayat, and became a wife that was already considered.
Overtime tonight is over. They enjoyed the food that Hidayat had bought. Still warm and delicious. They are like one family, without distinguishing who and what their status is to each other.
"Tomorrow to open at eight, yes...!" Hidayat shouted before they came out.
"Good, Bang..."
Hidayat locked the kiosk rolling door, then embraced Maira while smiling at her parked motorcycle right in front of the stall. While the employees have gone with their respective motorcycles.
"Maira wants to go for a walk before she gets home?" Hidayat asked while putting a helmet on Maira's head.
"When, Bang... It's night, besides you must be tired..." Reject Maira.
"Tell?" Tanya Hidayat so spoiled Maira.
"Yes... Just going home with Abang was more than a walk for Maira..."
Hidayat rode his motorbike and was later followed by Maira. There was happiness on their faces, and without making up.
Not realizing it, Kirana noticed from inside her car in a slightly distant position. Kirana's heart ached to see Hidayat's happiness with Maira. He had expected it, only that he did not want to believe the reality.
Kirana's tears rolled down her cheeks. For tonight he can only resign and can do nothing. He hopes the reality tomorrow if he meets Hidayat, he will hear that Hidayat's love is still for him.
