Husband's Regret: Betrayed for Not Getting Pregnant

Husband's Regret: Betrayed for Not Getting Pregnant
Separate Room

At exactly nine o'clock in the evening, the roar of Mahesa's car engine was heard entering the yard. The man just got home from the office. Actually he had been home since this afternoon but because of important matters caused Mahesa to go home late than usual.

With a briefcase, a twenty-eight-year-old man entered the house. Whenever Arumi was not hospitalized, the woman would stand up gracefully, dress neatly and dress beautifully to welcome Mahesa. However, this time the figure of his beloved wife did not welcome his return.

"Sir, where's my wife?" mahesa asked as she loosened the ties wrapped around her neck.

"Mom's in the room, resting. Since noon, I have not been out of the room. Even the dishes I cooked were not touched at all."

"Daddy want dinner?"

"No, Ma'am. I ate before I went home." Then Mahesa took a deep breath and said, "Please warm the food on the table! I'll ask Miss Rumi to eat."

Then Mahesa left Mbak Tini who was preparing to warm food for Arumi.

With gontai steps, Mahesa climbed the stairs and walked to the main room. When he entered the room, the pitch-black atmosphere was only the moonlight that barged in through the vitrage of the window. Although the lighting is very minimal but the male netra caught the figure of a woman sleeping soundly on a king-size soft bed.

Slowly, Mahesh approached his wife and sat down on the edge of the bed. The man's brown bead continued to look at the pale face of the woman lying on the bed. Although in a dim state, the man could see deep sadness on Arumi's face.

"I've told you, never come to that house if not with me," said Mahesa Lirih while removing the hair that blocked her face.

Arumi opened her eyes slowly, feeling the tender loving touch of her husband. The woman's eyes collided with the eyes of Mahesa who looked at her with soft eyes.

"How are you doing? Is it much better?" mahesa asked as she stroked Arumi's cheek.

"It's hard, Mom." The woman sat down while leaning on the head of the bed. "Tumben clock just got home. Another overtime?"

Mahesa gave a rough breath. Arumi's last question ignited the man's emotions. He violently threw the work coat that was lying beside him in any direction.

"You don't provoke my emotions, Rumi!" mahesa shouted with high intonation.

Arumi rounded her eyes to see the change in her husband's attitude. Both eyebrows are linked together and do not feel tears melt on the cheeks. Again Mahesa shouted when she only asked but why the man was offended.

"I was just asking but why are you screaming! Didn't you promise not to yell at me again this morning!" asked Arumi in a loud voice.

"Yes, I did promise but if you continue to be suspicious of me, do I have to keep quiet!"

"Of course I believe you, Mom. However, this move of yours makes me suspicious."

"Sup to you. To be sure, I don't like being suspected much less until you spy on me!"

Mahesa leaves Arumi. Go inside the bathroom, flutter her body under the shower. "Great, don't let Arumi be suspicious of me. Anyway from tomorrow I have to be careful in my actions."

Meanwhile, Arumi wiped the tears that slid between the two cheeks. The wounds in the heart due to the harsh treatment of her in-laws have not healed now even sprinkled salt on the same wound.

Perih, pain and disappointment melted into one making the woman's chest more tight.

"If you don't hide something, you should be normal, Mas" he said.

Shortly afterwards, the bathroom door opened and Mahesa came out wearing only a towel that covered the waist down. The man walked towards the walk in closet.

After putting on the clothes, the man grabbed the mobile phone lying on the nightstand.

"Tonight I'll sleep in the guest room. Good night!" Mahesa passed by without even turning her head towards Arumi.
