Husband's Regret: Betrayed for Not Getting Pregnant

Husband's Regret: Betrayed for Not Getting Pregnant
Before It's Too Late (S2)

The sound of the sparrow's great-grandson was again heard, perched on the tree branch. A gentle breeze blew on the face of a man who was sitting on a wheelchair while looking at the beauty of God's creation.

"Sir Mahesa, time for medicine. Here, I've got the following medicine for drinking water." Nadira put a glass filled with water and several packs of medicine on the table. The woman took out a few pills from her pack and placed them on a small plate.

Mahesa's heavy hand took one by one the pills and took them along with water. "Thank you" said the man flatly, without looking at Nadira.

Countless times have Mahesa been indifferent to Nadira. However, to be sure, the woman's heart breaks into pieces every time Arumi's ex-husband treats her so.

Sighing for a deep breath while taking back the empty glass and a few packs of medicine on the table. Nadira was about to step up, leaving Mahesa. However, the baritone voice of a man stopped his steps.

"Wait on! Don't go yet! There are important things I want to talk to you about" Mahesa said. Ask Nadira to stay in the same place as him.

Hearing Mahesa's request, Nadira undoes her intention. He turned his back and looked at his back. The woman's brain is trying hard, finding out what the child just wants to talk about Putra Adiguna.

Feeling being watched so closely, makes Mahesa feel uncomfortable. Despite the position of his back to the woman in the nurse uniform, but he was sure that there was currently a pair of middle eyes watching him.

"It only took me five minutes to speak to you in one eye. After that, you can go back to doing your activities that were delayed."

Nadira let out a rough sigh, feeling his heart return like it was pierced by a sharp knife. The indifference and coldness shown by Mahesa made the woman's chest feel claustrophobic like being squeezed by a large stone.

During one year as a personal nurse Mahesa, she should have been accustomed to the man's attitude but somehow she was always emotional and wanted to feel crying, shedding all the complaints felt by her so far.

"If you may know, what important things you want to say to me. Does it have anything to do with work? Are you dissatisfied with my performance so far?" fawning Nadira after she sits next to Mahesa.

"I mean Mr. Mahesa, what?" nadira asked curiously.

Mahesa took a deep breath. Gathering courage in the chest to say something that could have made Nadira's heart hurt. Before it was too late, he wanted everything to end right now.

"You know why I sit in a wheelchair. It all has to do with the crimes I have committed in the past. Over indulging in the breath God finally gave a rebuke to me. I had to lose everything including love and affection from Arumi."

"Me and Arumi have been together for a long time. We started building the household nosedives from zero to mutual success. She is a faithful, patient and sincere wife figure loving me. All the nature of the woman makes it difficult for me to forget her even though we have been divorced for a long time. So do not be surprised if until that moment I can not forget all the sweet memories that have been passed along with him. It took decades or maybe forever he continued to reign in the deepest corner. Therefore, before it's too late, it's good that you stop harboring flavor to me, because forever your love will not be avenged."

The look on Nadira's face was grim and stemmed the sadness. The woman's eyes were dewy almost shedding tears. The sound choked as if a piece of cactus stuck in the throat. The blatantly uttered rejection made the woman's heart break into pieces. Mahesa immediately rejected him without giving a chance to prove that he could make Mahesa forget about Arumi.

"Even though you have never told me your heart, I know that forever you have kept your taste in me. But sorry, I will not be able to repay your love, because in this heart there is only one Arumi. Until at any time, her name never goes away from here." Mahesh's hand pointed to where the heart was. "Therefore, before it's too late it's best to end up here. I don't want to make you wait without giving you a clear certainty of when Arumi's name disappeared."

Nadira's lips opened, then closed and reopened. However, not a single word could be said from the woman's rancid lips. The mind of the mother of one child is chaotic, unable to think clearly. Not ready to accept the fact that he has been rejected by Mahesa.
