Three Months Later
Today, coincides with February 14, even one year of marriage Arumi and Rayyan. There have been many twists and turns of their household life through together, both the likes and sorrows of the married couple face together without letting go of each other's hands. Moreover, the presence of the triplets further strengthens the love between the two adults.
Arumi accidentally wakes up early, he plans to make a birthday cake made by the woman's lentic fingers. Fortunately there is Nyimas at home so that the mother can help her keep the little one if at any time they cry because of thirst or urination.
The face is increasingly bright when seeing the results of his work has been plastered real in front of the eyes. This is the first wedding anniversary for her and her husband. Therefore, the mother of three identical twins specifically made her own birthday cake without being helped by anyone.
"Perfects!" said the woman when putting a number one birthday candle on the cake. He was satisfied with the end result of the cake made by him himself. Hopefully not disappointing, Arumi thought.
Then, he grabbed his mobile phone that was placed on the dining table. Deliberately carrying with him the flat-shaped object as he was making a birthday cake to peek at the recipe shared by the chefs in one of the video player apps.
"Hello, Mum. What time do you get back to the apartment?" ask when the phone is connected. There's no time to wait too long. Therefore, she chose to contact her husband directly rather than sending a short message that would be answered by Rayyan.
The typical hoarse voice of a person waking up recalls, "Maybe twelve o'clock in the afternoon, Babe. One more hour, I have a major operation until eleven in the afternoon. After that, you can go back to the apartment." Since last night, the narrow-eyed man did not return to the apartment. There were many major operations that were handled by him with the team.
In fact, Arumi was involved in a major operation led directly by her husband, however, because Ghani has a fever, Rayyan asks his wife to stay at home to take care of the eldest until he is completely healed from his illness. As a good wife and mother, of course Arumi agreed to the decision made by the team leader as well as her own husband.
The beautiful Arumi again said, "Oh so it seems. I thought you could go home this morning." The woman's voice sounded disappointed because she could not immediately give a small surprise to her beloved husband.
Rayyan got up from the bed, opening the curtains of the special room she used to rest. The rays of the sun shine brightly again to light up the earth. The sky is bright, the sound of birdsong memahut each other like a beautiful melody that spoils the sense of hearing.
"Tumben once you called me asking when I'm coming home." Squinting, staring sharply to the right side as if in front there was the figure of the wife sitting sweetly on the edge of the bed.
Then, suddenly a huge hammer struck his consciousness. With a little anxiety the man asked. "Babe, is this all related to Dage? (The oldest brother in Mandarin). Is the fever getting higher up to 38°C? That's why you asked me when I came home, right?" cecar Rayyan without giving Arumi a chance to open the voice. "If so, I'll be right home to pick you up. We brought Dage to the hospital together."
Rayyan was already preparing to grab the car keys that were inside the desk drawer, but the soft voice across there stopped her activity.
"Don't worry about Dage, he's fine. At dawn, the heat had gone down. Thank God, after being compressed and I gave ASI finally the fever went down."
There was a sigh of relief across there. Anxious facial sharpness is increasingly fading replaced by a faint smile at the corner of the lips.
For the first time, the eldest had a fever and it made Rayyan and Arumi confused. Although they are in the medical world, who are accustomed to treating and caring for sick patients but this is the first experience for both of them to see their beloved baby sick so that it is enough to make the young couple confused. Fortunately there are Nyimas who are experienced enough so that Ghani can be handled immediately.
"Thank God, then" said Rayyan. The man sat weakly on his seat. Almost he ran towards the VVIP parking lot and drove a four-wheeled vehicle at high speed to pick up his wife and beloved child and bring him to the hospital. "If it's not Ghani, then why ask when I'm coming home, hem?"
Arumi giggled softly upon hearing Rayyan's question. He was very sure if the man across there forgot that today was a historic day for both of them.
Too busy taking care of work, more and more responsibilities sometimes make someone forget something important in his life, as well as Rayyan. The oriental-faced man forgot that today, exactly one year ago, he made a sacred promise before everyone to make Arumi his wife and mother for his children.
Convinced that Rayyan completely forgot that today was her first anniversary, Arumi deliberately pranked her husband. So, she started playing her role as an impromptu actress.
The relaxed face was back in tension. Recalling the sentence he had spoken just now. Why does Arumi's tone sound so upset. Could he have made a mistake without being aware of it?
Stuttering with cold sweat that began to pour out, Rayyan said. "B-that's not what I mean, Babe. I-I. .. absolutely do not mind if you interrogate me. Really!"
The faint smile on Arumi's face was painted upon hearing Rayyan's words. 'Feel you, Mom. It's good that I jailin!' the batteries.
Arumi cleared her throat, then said. "Yes, I don't want to know. After all your work is done, you go straight home! Don't be late. Okay?" The woman deliberately emphasized the last sentence, as an ultimatum so that her husband immediately went home after all work was completed.
"OK, Babe. I must have come home on time. Wait for me to come back."
After saying hello, the phone connection was finally cut off. At that moment, the sound of Arumi's laughter echoed throughout the kitchen. He could no longer stop himself from laughing.
"I'm sure, Mas Rayyan's face just looked so anxious. He must have thought that I was really angry with him." The woman's laughter returned. His hand touched the stomach that was painful from laughing. Today she really feels happy because she accidentally managed to train her husband. Think of it as a down payment before he asks for a wedding gift to the husband.
Hearing the sound of laughter so loud from the direction of the kitchen, Nyimas stepped closer to the husband's voice. The right hand carried Zavier who looked engrossed in his own chattering. I don't know what the three-month-old baby was talking about, only he and God knew.
"Arumy! What's the matter, son?" nyimas asked after arriving at the kitchen. Seeing her son laughing out loud, made the middle-aged woman so curious.
Reflexes, Arumi turned towards Nyimas. The female Netra caught the figure of a handsome little baby smiling towards her. The owner of narrow eyes smiled broadly when he saw his beloved mother looking at him full of love.
The mother of three twin babies grinned while scratching her head not itching. "I'm fine, Ma. There was a little thing that made me laugh."
"You are that, yes. It always makes my mom anxious. Mama thinks you're frustrated by failing to make a birthday cake for Nak Rayyan" Nyimas said.
"Oh, the Mama. Mama thought, I am the type of person who easily despair to laugh indistinctly like a madman. Sorry, yes. Madam Rayyan was not the type of weak woman who easily despaired just because of trivial things."
Arumi stepped closer to Nyimas, then her hand extended forward. He carried Zavier's tiny body in a sling. Smell at the puffed cheek of the puffer with great anxiety. "Arumi is now different from what it was. The bitter sweetness of life I have tasted makes me grow into a mature woman who does not give up easily. Just because it failed to make a cake, will not drive me crazy," he said while proud.
Nyimas pinched her son's nose with anxiety, like pinching the twins' noses. "Yes, Mama knows. Mama's son has now turned into a tough woman figure and is not easily oppressed by anyone. However, if anyone dares to hurt it, three men stand to protect."
Arumi's lips were wide open, ready to answer Nyimas' words. However, Zavier's laughter distracted everyone. The little baby laughed crisply as if he knew that he was one of the three men mentioned by the Nyimas oreh. Later, when he and Ghani grow up, they will protect and take care of Arumi, Zahira and her other younger sisters. No one will let someone hurt the feelings of his mother and sisters.
