The distance between the hotel and the law firm office where Rio works is not too far ranging from 10 kilometers. The office is in West Jakarta area, while the hotel used as a place of worship by ex-husband and ex-best friend is in Central Jakarta.
He drove the vehicle at a speed of 60 km/h. The atmosphere during the day is getting crowded because it coincides with the rest hour that is over. The sound of the horn was earthy, some road users overtake the vehicle that was boarded by Arumi. But he didn't budge. The woman remained focused forward regardless of the noise out there.
When entering the office area, the woman reduced the speed of the vehicle. In front of the entrance were two officers standing guard. He got down from the car, walked into the magnificent ten-story building.
"Hello, good afternoon. Can I meet with Mr Rio Mahardika?" arumi asked one of the receptionists who worked behind the desk.
The woman in a gray uniform smiled amiably, welcoming the arrival of the special guest who had been waiting for a few minutes ago. "Mother Arumi Salsabila Adiguna?" ask the receptionist to make sure.
Hearing the name Adiguna embedded in the full name Arumi, he turned the eyeball lazily. Every time the name is said it reminds the woman of what happened a few minutes ago.
He breathed a rough breath. Squeezing the ends of clothes worn to unravel anger that could have blown at any time. "really. Can I meet Mr Rio now?" Arumi could not stand if he had to linger standing. He was worried that his emotions would break if he stood in front of the two women for too long.
"Please, Mistress. Master Rio's been waiting for you since earlier." One of them rushed to deliver Arumi to the front door of the elevator. "You just press the eight button. Mr. Rio's room is not far from the elevator door up there."
As the elevator doors closed and carried Arumi's body up to the top floor. He flicked his palms forward and said, "Prophe Arumi. You can't be angry. They don't know if soon your status as Madame Adiguna will end."
Shortly after, the elevator doors opened. The woman came out then walked hurriedly towards Rio's room.
"Rummy! rio exclaimed when he saw his wife's best friend and sister-in-law standing in the doorway. The man was a little surprised by Arumi's arrival as it was the first time the woman had come to see him in person.
Arumi did not return the call. He would rather sit on the couch than sit in a soft chair in front of his sister-in-law.
Rio frowned while looking in surprise at Arumi as the woman's appearance looked a little messy. His moist eyes, tangled clothes and his usual neatly arranged hair are now a little messy.
He walked slowly closer to Arumi. "What's wrong with you? Why are your eyes soaked and your appearance so messy."
Rio increasingly did not understand the direction of the woman's conversation. A moment ago, Arumi suddenly contacted him with sobs and cries that slashed the heart. The woman insisted on wanting to meet with Rio because there was an important thing to say. The man had a promise with his best friend. Not wanting anything bad to happen to Arumi, Rio finally relented and chose to meet his brother-in-law.
"Come on, Rumi. Tell me, what happened to you. Why did you call me when you were crying?" urgently Rio. "Has something happened to Mahesa?"
"Or, Mahesa has committed acts of violence against you just as your late biological father did before your late mother?" cecar Rio's.
The woman in front of him was shaking. Not wanting to see Rio, he threw his face to the other side. Hiding a clear curtain that has covered the eyes.
"If you keep quiet, I won't know your purpose in coming here. Please, Rumi. Don't just shut up. Tell me, what Mahesa has done to you." Being in this situation made Rio frustrated. Not that he did not like to see Arumi but the man felt that his meeting with the brother-in-law would be useless if the woman was not willing to open her mouth.
He saw that woman. He looked at Arumi without even blinking a single bit. Beware of this situation, Rio finally got up then walked towards his proud seat.
"If you don't want to talk, I'd better go and see my best friend." He pulled out his cell phone from the drawer. The burly hand touched the screen and prepared to make a phone call. However, Arumi's soft voice stopped her activities.
"Rio, please help me claim Mas Mahes' divorce. I don't want to live with a cheating husband" said Arumi steady.
