Husband's Regret: Betrayed for Not Getting Pregnant

Husband's Regret: Betrayed for Not Getting Pregnant
As Bad as Anything, She's Still Your Mother

Raihan sighed deeply then replied, "It all started when my parents took a swipe at Arumi's sister, wife of .. um ... Sister ... Rayyan ...," he said. When he said the word brother in front of Rayyan's name it felt awkward. For a long time he did not call the first son of the papa with the name 'brother'. Last time when he was in the 2nd grade Junior High. Since the unexpected incident, he was no longer friendly to his older brother even impressed to keep his distance and not infrequently a small commotion between the two of them.

Andika looked so serious listening to the string of sentences spoken on Raihan's lips. The slengean attitude that is often shown when meeting other people, for a few minutes disappears. He turned into a grown man, and was attentive.

"That time, Mama and Papa were so happy after meeting my three twin nieces. However, because of the resentment and hatred in me makes me unable to hold back when they continue to mention the name of Kak Rayyan. I feel like this whole body is being burned alive by the flames of jealousy. I'm jealous of Rayyan because she's more everything than me."

"Since long ago, my parents loved Kak Rayyan so much that even Mama looked very fond of him. Although Brother Rayyan never thought my Mama existed, but affection, care and sincere love were given to the man" said Raihan. He began to tell the chronology that happened to make him leave the house and never again visit Lena and Firdaus. "When I heard Mama defending Brother Rayyan, my heart ached because my own mother defended others more than me, her own child. In fact, Kak Rayyan's attitude never appreciates Mama as a replacement for Aunt Mei Ling."

"That day I showed another figure in me in front of Mama and Papa. Disappointment, anger, and jealousy make me like a crazy person who continues to insult Kak Rayyan. Until finally a truth is revealed. A truth that for a dozen years was kept close by my parents." Raihan paused for a moment his sentence. Rumbling in the chest sprang up like the sound of waves pounding on the beach that hit the reef. The sound choked, the tongue feels faint accompanied by a chest that begins to flower deflated.

A long silence floated in the air, as Raihan was still unmoved. It appeared that the man was taking a deep breath, then exhaling slowly while closing his eyes. Occasionally he gripped the end of the table to hold back emotions.

While Andika is still faithfully waiting for the continuation of Raihan's story. The man's eyebrows furrowed, trying to guess for himself what the truth was until his best friend left the house and never gave news to his parents.

After Raihan was able to control the emotions within him, he again said, "I have misunderstood Brother Rayyan. I think she hates Mama for no apparent reason. However, there seems to be a fundamental reason why she never once thought Mama and I were in that house. It all happened because of my mother's mistakes in the past. My mom used to be .. an actor."

"What's? P-stamp!" exclaim Andika with a choked voice. Her beautiful hazel eyes were perfectly rounded, her jaws were wide open.

Raihan sighed harshly. The attitude shown by Andika was exactly like her first. In fact, the man's heart feels no longer as close as it was when he found out if his mother was the third person who had damaged other people's domestic relationships.

"Yeah, right. My mom is an ex-actor. She was present at a time when the condition of Papa's household and the late Aunt Mei Ling was tenuous. The consequences often meet to make the seed of love between two human beings. They had a forbidden love when my Papa was married. And you know, Dika, if actually my Mama was also the cause of Aunt Mei Ling's death."

"What did you mean just now, Rai. The cause? What cause of death? What was ... what Aunt Lena did that your sister's birth mother died."

Then, Raihan tells what he heard when he was still living with his parents. Not a single sentence was missed. He was honest even though the truth was very painful.

However, lucky Andika did not jugde his best friend at all. The handsome-looking man with the sharp nose and dimples at both corners of the lips silenced his mouth to not say words that could hurt the feelings of others.

"Now you know about my parents' past and my origins, Dika. I was born from the womb of an actor. A woman who could snatch someone else's husband on the grounds that she loved that man while we know, no matter how much love there is in the heart if that person has a partner, it's still wrong. In any religion, it is not taught to take away something that is not ours."

"You, it's true. All religions in any part of the world do not teach us to seize, forcibly take away what belongs to others" Andika said, confirming Raihan's words. "So much as the case that befell your mother. Nor do I justify what he and your Papa did when they were young."

"If I was in your position, I would be angry because I felt I had been lied to all this time. A dozen years of hating innocent people just because of misunderstanding. Ck! Really funny!" Smiling stiffly while looking the other way. "However, if I'm to be honest, what you did to your mother was not a commendable act, Rai."

"You left home in a state of emotion, even until this moment did not even contact Aunt Lena even though just asking for news. You're so outrageous and I don't like that attitude of yours, Raihan!" andika said firmly. "Even though you hate Aunt Lena and Om Firdaus, but as a child, you are obligated to respect them and are not allowed to yell much less insult your own mother."

"Ray, that paradise is under your mother's feet. As bad and as bad as Aunt Lena, but she is still your biological mother who has conceived and given birth to you. He sacrificed his life to bring you into this world, so that you can be grateful for the blessings God has given us all. Then, when you grow up and can stand alone, you will want to berate your own mother. Is that what your religious teacher taught you, haem?"

The man named Andika van Amsberg grabbed the glass in front of him, then sipped the cold drink slowly until the remaining half. Trying to control yourself so as not to get more emotional.

"I am a non-Muslim, but know little about a child's obligations to his parents, especially to a mother." Andika patted Raihan on the shoulder, then again said, "Saranku, you should meet Aunt Lena and Om Firdaus. Apologize to them while you're still given the chance to see both of your parents. Don't let it, you regret it later on because you didn't have a chance to say sorry to them."

"The human race no one knows. It could be that today we can see the rising sun, tomorrow does not guarantee someone can see back the Sun shows its charm. So, take the opportunity to the best of it. Repair the relationship between you and your parents. Also don't forget, you met Brother Rayyan. Apologize to him, too, for you've hated the wrong people."

The shadow of Lena's face as the woman shed tears flashed before Raihan. Made his breath choked.

"You and he were born to the same father. Although your mother is different but the blood that flows in your body and Brother Rayyan is the blood of Om Firdaus. As hard as you deny, but that's the truth."

Raihan. Andika's words have a point, too. He and Rayyan were siblings, though not born from the same womb. The older brother was born from the womb of an honorable woman, a daughter-in-law recognized by the family of Wijaya Kusuma. While he was born from the womb of a former actor, whose presence was hated by almost all Eve on this earth.

The handsome lecturer looked up his head, looking fixed on Hazel Andika's eyes. "If it turns out Brother Rayyan doesn't forgive me, how? Should I prostrate under her feet until she forgives me and accepts me as her sister?"

The corner of Andika's lips was drawn upwards, smiling cynically towards her best friend. "Basic stupid! Brother Rayyan is God until you want to bow down to him. Remember, your religious teachings do not teach man to prostrate before another man."

Andika again sipped her drink while staring at Fahmi who is currently engaged in conversation with one of the family members of the bride's side. "If it turns out that Brother Rayyan cannot forgive your mistakes, let the hand of God work. Leave everything to God. Importantly, you've apologized sincerely and tried to erase the hatred, envy, and resentment towards your brother."

"Well, imagine, a large stone if it is constantly watering on it then over time there will be a basin as well. Same with Rayyan. I'm sure sooner or later he can forgive you even if to be a close family like a brother and sister relationship should be very impossible, but at least you've tried to improve the relationship."

Sighs long. "Yes .. You're right, Dika. No matter how hard man's disposition, when God intervenes, he will also be destroyed. So, before fighting, I can't give up first!"

Andika nodded. "Fuckin' thick! Keep going, stand back!" he said while clenching one hand to the front of the chest.

After confiding in the style of adult men Raihan and Andika version, the two men plus Fahmi decided to enjoy the dish that has been provided by the owner hajat. Occasionally they engage in light conversation in between their activities eating food on the table.

"Guys, I need to get out of here. There's something urgent to do!" raihan said to Andika and Fahmi. He left the room in a hurry. Andika and Fahmi just stared cengo at Raihan.
