Husband's Regret: Betrayed for Not Getting Pregnant

Husband's Regret: Betrayed for Not Getting Pregnant
Arumi's Decision

Rio's body jerked. Her eyes widened when she heard Arumi saying she wanted a divorce from her husband who she had been married to for almost five years. Rio did hear a rumor saying that her in-law household relationship was in trouble but the man did not expect the relationship to end in divorce.

To make sure that his hearing was not problematic, Rio got up from the chair then walked over to Arumi who was crying. The woman's body trembled violently, clear liquid continuously flowing down her cheeks. Arumi's sobbing voice slashed the heart, making anyone who heard would feel pity.

"Rumi, try repeating your words just now. You ... want a divorce from Mahesa?" rio asked carefully.

Arumi just nodded her head as a sign that she really wanted to separate from her husband. His heart still hurt and his lips were unable to speak.

The man who was sitting in front of Arumi exhaled violently. He shook his head because he could not understand why Mahesa would betray his wife even though, the wife is a near-perfect figure.

"I'm here to speak as a friend and a lawyer who will handle your divorce case. Before you file a divorce lawsuit, you should think carefully. Don't let later you regret having made a decision while being emotional."

"Think with a cool head, then make a decision. If your resolve is well established, you can come here and I'm ready to be your lawyer."

"No!" sergeant Arumi. "My resolve is already round, Rio. I want a divorce from Mahesa."

"Your brother is cheating behind my back and you know who is the third woman between me and Mahesa?"

"She is Kayla, my own best friend," the woman chanted. "If there had been no physical contact between them maybe I could still forgive Mas Mahes. However, the two Devils had already made an out-of-bounds relationship. Even now in Kayla's womb, a fetus grows out of her relationship with my husband."

Again Arumi's tears wet her cheeks. I don't know how many times the woman wept over the fate that befell her household. However, he certainly did not want to live in the shadow of another woman.

"Do I have to forgive a man who cannot be loyal to his partner?" arumi lirih.

He looked at Rio. "As you know, the affair was fully supported by Mama Naila. My own in-laws forced my husband to have an illicit relationship with another woman."

It's like hearing lightning in broad daylight. Rio's heart stopped beating right then and there. He felt his body being hit by hundreds of huge chunks of rock.

"Whatdidyou say. So ... That crazy idea came from your own In-laws?" rio said. Now he understands why Arumi insisted on divorce from Mahesa.

Rio as a man who still has common sense condemns all the vile deeds done by Mahesa, Kayla and also the man's om-tante. The four men were like animals that had no conscience so they could wrong a good woman like Arumi.

The man drowned on the sofa. His chest was still fluttering, trying to dampen the anger that at times could explode by itself.

Rio changed his sitting position. He leaned forward and said, "If the case is like this, I'm willing to help you get out of the family's shackles because I don't want to see my wife's best friend live with a jerk like Mahesa!"

"From the beginning of marriage, I noticed that your parents did not respect you at all as a daughter-in-law. Moreover, the treatment of Aunt Naila who seemed to differentiate you with Kayla, made me furious."

Rio let out a long sigh before continuing his words, "Although I am part of that family, but as a sane human being naturally I will not allow injustice to occur around me. For that, I will defend you to the point of the final blood."

"However, there are important things that must be done by you before taking care of the divorce papers."

Those tear-filled eyes and face were staring intently at Rio. "What matters, Rio? Quickly say, I have to do what to immediately separate from Mas Mahes," cried Arumi impatiently.

The man seemed doubtful. Many times he rubbed the tip of his nose with a finger. Do not know what reaction Arumi showed if the woman had heard the important task that must be done by him.

"Tell me, Rio. What do I have to do now?"

"The first thing you should do is ...."
