"What are you doing here?" Mahesa looked up at Arumi. Anger is mounting when he sees Rayyan's hand accidentally coming into contact with Arumi.
Hearing the shrill cry of the eardrum, Arumi turned to the source of the voice. The woman almost dropped the glass with her ordered drink. His slightly healed heart wound was now torn back when he saw Kayla flaunting a diamond ring, worth hundreds of millions of rupiah coiled around on the ring finger. Without even being told, he realized that it was a wedding ring.
Not yet able to answer, Mahesa again said in a high tone. "Now you've turned into a cheap woman! Go to Bali with another man, while your status is still my wife!" The tall man looked at Rayyan hatefully.
"You realize, your behavior has tarnished the good name of the Adiguna family! What if there was a news hunter then spread in a newspaper and social media account, saying that the wife of Mahesa Putra Adiguna went on vacation with a foreign man in Bali!" He turned towards Arumi. "Then my family's reputation will be ruined!"
Mahesa's breath frowned. His shoulders go up. The chest of the kempis. Emotions within themselves increasingly dominate the man's body.
The sound of screeching made the surrounding visitors turn their heads towards them. Everyone stared at him with a strange look.
Seeing the many opportunities to take down Arumi, Kayla took out a stance to provoke Mahesa.
"This wife of yours must have no more veins of shame, Mas. He's blatantly cheating behind your back!" peekik Kayla's. "He's cheap, not worth defending!"
"Jal*ng this must have been brain-poisoned by Aunt Nyimas so he dared to go out of town without your permission." Throw a cynical glance towards Arumi.
"He's a filial foster child who will sacrifice anything for the sake of his beloved mother, including ...." Kayla paused her sentence and smiled smirkily at Arumi. "Opens smooth, white thighs on other men!"
Brak!
There was the sound of table shaking. Arumi got up from the chair and looked at Kayla and Mahesa with hateful eyes.
Arumi's patience is over. The longer Mahesa and Kayla spoke, the sharper it was like a knife. He can be patient if what they insult is himself. However, if the name of the mother is linked in this matter, she will not remain silent.
The furious Arumi retorted with a sharp glare of eyes staring at the newlyweds. "You have insulted me enough! You think I'll just shut up to hear the useless babble that comes out of the mouths of sinners like you!" satirize the woman.
The woman moved her index finger in front of Kayla and Mahesa. "You are wrong! I'm not the old Arumi. Who will cry when yelled at by others. This betrayal and pain taught me to toughen up when dealing with my ex-husband and his new wife" Arumi said.
She walked behind Kayla. " So you said, I'm a shameless ja*ang!" The corner of the woman's lips was raised upwards. "Then what name is appropriate for you? A beautiful girl who is sexy but willing to sell virginity in order to seize my position in my own husband's heart."
"You are willing to conceive Mas Mahes's child for Mama Naila's persuasion without any marriage bond first. Isn't that the same as a ja*ang! It could even be that your status is lower than mine."
Kayla returned Arumi's sharp gaze. "Even so, my efforts have not been in vain. The proof, now I am pregnant and soon will provide a successor for the Adiguna family."
Instantly Arumi laughed. The woman's shoulders shook violently. "Yes .. You are right. Your efforts are not in vain. You are pregnant but out of wedlock. I'm not sure if your son would be proud to have a mother like you."
The haughty and arrogant attitude displayed by Kayla just vanished. "You mean, what?"
"Especially if he knew, his mother was pregnant out of wedlock. Ehm .. although finally the father of the son of a bitch married the mother but still, he will be insulted for being born as a child out of wedlock."
Kayla was silent for a moment. His hands clenched until they showed protruding veins on the back of the hand. His face was reddened from enduring the embarrassment. He did not expect Arumi would reverse the situation.
The girl thought that her former best friend would be easily bullied but the reality was wrong. Arumi grew stronger and dared to reply to every sentence spoken from Kayla's lips.
"And you, Mas Mahes. Ever since I decided to file for divorce, it means we don't have any relationship. I have no obligation to ask permission or tell you where to go. You, in my eyes, mean nothing anymore!" arumi said as she left them both.
However, just a few steps away, Arumi looked back. "Mas Mahes, if you meet me later in the day when you are holding hands with another man, never be jealous because the relationship between only the ex-husband and wife." Then he just passed by without ever looking back.
Rayyan was quite surprised by the scene of the drama that had just happened. All of these events were recorded clearly in the memory of the Chinese man. He witnessed for himself the eyes full of disappointment painted on the face of his work partner.
Not wanting anything bad to happen to Arumi, he got out of the chair. Looking closely at the handsome face of the former husband of his work partner. "You're a jerk who's having an affair with your wife's best friend."
"You!" Mahesa's index finger points to Rayyan. However, the hand was immediately knocked down by Rayyan.
"This dirty hand is not worthy of your showing me!"
Rayyan whispered in Mahesa's ear. "You're a fool for taking off a diamond so precious as Arumi." The man smiled smirk. "Don't blame me for one day taking your ex-wife."
Rayyan bravely stepped outside the cafe. Chasing after the woman who has been ravaging her heart for the past few hours.
"So, all this time I've been misjudging Arumi. She looked tough on the outside but her heart was very fragile just like Mama Mei Ling," the man's inner.
Suddenly, guilt runs through the heart. The shadows as he treated Arumi unfairly seemed to be in his mind. Really, he regretted being bad at that woman.
"If only time could play out, maybe I would never treat Arumi so harshly. In fact, I'll treat that woman like a queen."
