“Huff”

Leathina let out a long sigh as from a distance she looked towards the Yarnell family residence from behind the window of the carriage she was using.

“Are you okay Leathina?” Winter asked Leathina when she saw him always exhaling a long breath.

During Winter's journey never far away and always try to walk near the train used by Leathina with her horse to keep watch if suddenly someone attacks them then Winter will immediately protect Leathina.

Leathina did not answer Winter's question at all and just kept quiet and away from the cold sweat window started running through her palms nervous as well as afraid if it turned out that what Adam said was wrong and they caught her to he was convicted of attempted murder on his own brother.

Although Adam said that they were looking for me to bring me back but I was afraid that they would look for me to be tried and I was not sure that they would believe a child's defense of their hatred always greater than a sense of justice.

So no matter how Nora defends me there's a chance they won't believe it.

“What should I do?” Mumbled Leathina quietly.

The carriage Leathina was using had now passed through the main gate and entered the grounds of the Yarnell family mansion and stopped right in front of the Mansion's main door.

“What are they doing there?” leathina muttered as she looked out the window.

He saw the servants lined up neatly on two sides of the door until in front of the train door.

“Tak” Sound of doors open when Winter opens the train door from outside.

“We've arrived, please get off Miss Leathina.”

Winter opens the carriage door and allows Leathina to exit, Winter also reaches out to help Leathina get off.

“Nona? he called me Miss her back to what she was. Jeez what the hell is with this guy.”

“Nona? Miss Leathina?”

“Oh Gosh I'll be down soon.”

“You fantasize again Miss Leathina.”

Winter's voice restores Leathina's consciousness and hesitates to get off the train, but in the end she is forced to disembark.

He saw all the gazes on him ranging from the servants, Nora, Nicholas, his stepmother and Duke Leonard who stood behind the others.

“KAKAK LEATHINA!” Shouting Nora then ran towards Leathina and hugged her tightly making Leathina immediately duck to hug her back.

Leathina was still afraid to look up to her father duke Leonard as much as possible Leathina tried to avoid being with Duke Leonard.

“Welcome to ka.kak Leathina.” Greet Nicholas hesitantly and his speech stammered as he watched Leathina get off the carriage.

“Huh? Sister?” Leathina was a little surprised to hear Nicholas call her brother because the first time he heard Nicholas politely call her.

“This child changes a lot, usually if you see me the innate will always be angry. What makes it this way did his head ever hit.”

“A..i.m.I called you big brother just to welcome you, so don't get me wrong.” Jeez what am I doing now.” Because Leathina kept seeing him Nicholas became embarrassed then returned to his original nature because he felt strange himself with his words.

“Indeed I was hoping for what from this hooligan, just a moment ago he welcomed me now instead started a debate with me.” “Huff” Leathina let out a long breath then refocused on Nora who was still hugging her.

“Leg of Leathina? Oh Jesus! brother is hurt, does it hurt? I must have unintentionally made brother sick forgive me.” Nora felt a heavy breath that Leathina exhaled then immediately let go of her embrace and saw Leathina's neck wrapped around with bandages but still seen a slight puff of blood spotting there making her panic and worry.

“Anne?” Leathia murmured as her eyes unintentionally looked at the female shadow from behind the window.

He saw the window of his room which was on the second floor and the curtains were slightly open then a shadowy figure was suddenly seen and then the curtains that opened earlier were immediately closed again.

“Kakak Leathina?” Call Nora when she sees her older sister still not responding.

“Ah, I'm fine Nora. You shouldn't have to welcome me like this.”

“What do you mean we are all very..? Ah come.” Nicholas' speech was then interrupted and silent after which he turned to leave Leathina and entered the mansion.

“You should be treated immediately.”  Duke Leonard finally spoke then immediately left Leathina and also entered the mansion just like Nicholas did.

“As expected, but at least he did not punish me.” Leathina simply smiled with concern at the behavior of her father who was still treating her the same as before who continued to ignore her.

“Honey, welcome back! let me take you to your room.”

“Du..duchess?”

“What do you mean Duchess, last time you didilu mom.”

What surprised Leathina the most was the treatment of Duchess Nice who seemed to welcome her well.

“Gosh what happened to them during my absence, Duchess Nice used to love Leathina but because Lathina didn't like her and always bullied and humiliated her, duchess Nice's heart grew cold and she treated Leathina like a stepdaughter who did not need to be affectionate. But, if the treatment turns ninety degrees like this there is even me who became awkward.”

“A..I can go by myself you don't need to drive me.” Leathina tries to turn down the Duchess who insists on driving her to her room.

“Come brother, I'll also drop you off.”

Duchess Nice grabbed onto Leathina's shoulders and took her with her while Nora pulled Leathina's hand as if she was leading her to the point of being forced to follow the wishes of the two now waiting for her to chamber.

“Thank God” muttered winter when he saw Leathina go with Duchess Nice and Nora.

“I have to report immediately to uncle Leonard.” Winter instructs his subordinates to keep his horses in his stable and orders to rest after a trip away from the border town he himself immediately walks towards Duke Leonard's study.

The door to Duke Leonard's office opened and he saw Duke Leonard waiting for him inside.

“Greetings Uncle Leonard, I have returned.” Winter bowed politely to give her greetings.

“Welcome Winter.” Welcome Duke Leonard briefly. “Oh, and thank you for bringing my daughter home safely.” Duke Leonard continued his words, thanking and grateful that his daughter had returned.

“This has been my duty, uncle.” Reply Winter while putting his left palm on his chesta sign he is also grateful for being back together with Leathina.

“Now report what you got while there.”

Winter later recounts all the events she experienced while in the border town except for one thing she did not say, which was that Leathina lived voluntarily with the kidnappers. What Winter says is that Leathina was indeed kidnapped and asked for a ransom to free Leathina.

“So itulak why until Leathina can hurt.” Gumama Duke Leonard while leaning his back on the seat.

“Winter what should I do, Leathina doesn't seem to want to see me.” Duke Leonard with a sad face staring at the documents in front of him did not work on it but just flipped through the documents in front of him.

“Uncle, looks like Leathina still doesn't trust us completely. He was even more afraid to return to the kingdom than when the sword was pointed at his throat.”

“I know.. I know it with certainty Adam that Leathina always felt uncomfortable with me and therefore I do not know how I should meet her.” Duke Leonard put the documents on his backer then rubbed his face rough.

“I'm sorry Uncle Leanorad.”  All Winter can say is an apology because Winter still does not know what he has to do to enshrine the long-broken father-son relationship between the two.

“It's not your fault Winter. You've worked hard."

“Winter I almost forgot to ask you, did you find anything about the assassin organization of the shadow army organization?”

“On that I have not found any meaningful information, all I see the place that is said to be their headquarters is just an old mansion used as a bar and inn.”

“Alright, we must continue to do the investigation. Oh, you must be tired after coming back from the border town back and rest Winter.”

“Thanks Uncle Leonard.”

After reporting the results of his investigation, Winter immediately came out of the workroom leaving Duke Leonard alone with a pile of documents that Duke Leonard must finish immediately.

“Welcome back Miss Leathina.” Anne and the other servants bowed respectfully to Leathina as they were about to enter her room, they were all lined up along the corridor to welcome Leathina's arrival.

“Oh, Ann..?” Leathina was overjoyed to see her personal servant return after so long and happily greeted her but came to a halt when Anne did not want to look at her at all and continued to lower her gaze.

“Sister Leathina! You're fantasizing again.” Nora exclaimed when she saw Leathina again unfocused and just remained silent at the door of her room.

“Let's go in Pass, you must be tired and your wounds must be on medication immediately. Anne calls the doctor who came from the kingdom.”

“Good Madam Duchess.”

Anne immediately called the doctor whom they had previously summoned from the kingdom while Leathina entered her room.

“Oh, God damn your wear has broken Leathina. I'll help you take it off and immediately clean yourself the bath water in the bathup already on the waiter.”

“Du.. Duchess forgive me, but let the waiter help me.”

“Ah.. God I'm sorry Leathina, you must be feeling uncomfortable. Me and Nora will go out first and come back with the doctor to treat you.”

Leathina was still uncomfortable with everyone's suddenly changing attitude which is why when Duchess Nice tried to help her hand reflexively brushed her off and slightly moved away.

“Trak.”

The door to Leathina's room was opened and Anne entered and immediately closed it again and, looking down, she walked up to Leathina.

“Ma.sorry I'm Miss. Madam Duchess asked me to help you change clothes and clean yourself.” Anne spoke still in a lowered state not daring to look at Leathina's face.

“Anne?” Leathina calls Anne to have Anne show her face but Anne still looks down while helping Leathina remove her clothes.

“Anne!” Leathina again called Anne but this time her voice was raised to make Anne fall under Leathina's feet in surprise and her hands began to tremble.

“Anne?”  Leathina slightly bent over to grab Anne's face and with her hands made Anne raise her head and look at her.

“Oh, Jeez Anne. What's wrong with you?”

Seen by Anne's face, her lower lip reddened as she bit to hold back her tears from breaking while Anne's nose began to ooze and inhale it again as it sagged down.

“Wuaaaa No..nona L.eat..thina!!” Anne's cry then broke as her eyes flashed with Leathina's eyes and then sprinkled into Leathina's arms and held her tight.

Leathina then patted Anne on the back trying to calm her down so as not to fuss anymore.

“No.na Ak..u Pik.kir I No.... will.. see you again. Where have you been all this time. hik.” Anne still cried and spoke as she pleased and occasionally wiped her tears that would not stop with her shoulders.

“I am very worried about you. hik.hik..” Anne was still crying but not as loud as before and still hugged Leathina tightly.

“Thanks for worrying about me and waiting for me back Anne, it doesn't seem to be in vain that I keep you working as my personal servant you are still loyal to me hahaha.” Leathina replied to Anne with a joke so that Anne would quickly stop crying.

“What do you mean Miss, I will always be loyal to you. Oh, my God I forgot you had to clean yourself up and change clothes before the doctor came.”

Anne let go of her arms deftly and carefully began to do her work, she helped Leathina take off her clothes then let Lethina clean herself because Leathina did not like to be helped if taking a bath. While Leathina took a bath Anne immediately prepared the clothes Leathina would use later after she finished cleaning herself.

“Gosh Miss, your wound turned out to be quite in what is this pain? Why Miss does not use si.” Anne noticed the wound on Leathina's neck as Leathina came out of the bath.

“Hust.. It doesn't hurt too much, I'll be fine anyway the royal doctor will heal him.” Leathina quickly took a look at Anne's words before anyone else heard her afraid that others would know her abilities because so far only Anne and Edward had known Leathina's abilities in that place.

I have long felt no pain like this, although the wound is not severe but still painful I can not use my magic to cure it because I do not want them to be suspicious.

Anne quickly closed her mouth and resumed her work.

“You know Miss, after your departure the mansion became gloomy.” Anne spoke while helping Leathina get dressed after she finished cleaning herself.

“Isn't this mansion indeed gloomy before Anne.” Leathina simply smiled at Anne's words.

“But it's gloomier when Miss Leathina goes missing, you know Duke just keeps silent in his study while the young Master never again wanders around and focuses on his learning if there is a young master Miss always hanging around and Miss always makes people cheerful.”

“You are only too comparing the circumstances of Anne, have continued your work soon they come.” Leathina only smiled with anxiety because seeing the change of her personal servant who was crying as much as she could now become chatty.

“Nah is done.” Anne happily styled Leathina's hair and had finished helping Leathina get dressed.

“Good work Anne.” Leathina patted Anne on the head for finishing her job well and Anne looked very happy that Leathina appreciated her work.

“Oh, I will tell the Duchess immediately that you have finished changing clothes and brought the doctor to treat Miss Leathina's wounds.”

In a hurry Anne left because she wanted Leathina's wounds treated immediately.

“Either why I was talking to a pet, he was too obedient and happy to wander near me.” Leathina murmured softly when she saw Anne leaving her and when she was in the doorway Anne turned back to make sure Leathina was in and after that Anne really left.

"Track"

Leathina's door creaking sounded as Anne opened it.

Anne invited Duchess Nice to enter with a doctor who came from the kingdom and behind them was also followed by Nora, Nicholas, and Winter who took her to check on Leathina.

"Sister Leathina!" Nora exclaimed as she entered Leathina's room and was met with a smile by Leathina.

The doctor who came to ask Leathina to sit up straight then noticed the wound that was on Leathina's neck after it started treating her using healing magic then a faint - faint green aura began to cover her wound and slowly - began to heal her the wound on his neck closed back.

"Is anyone sick again Miss?" Ask the doctor to Leathina but only to be returned to the head by Leathina.

"I'm fine Sir, I just need a break.Thank you for coming to treat me."

"Then I'll come back Miss." He bowed respectfully after it came out of the room.

"I'll get him up ahead." Duchess Nice then went to follow the Doctor.

"I'll go too." Nicholas also finally came out of the room after seeing Leathina's wounds heal.

Now only Nora remains, and Winter still survives in Leathina's room.

"Nora, you come back too. Leathina needs a break after a long trip." Winter tells Nora to let Leathina rest.

"Oh, well get well Brother Leathina quickly." Nora finally came out of Leathina's room because of Winter's words.

"How are you doing now Leathina?" Winter asked then while leaving only the two of them.

"I'm fine, congratulations to you for bringing me back."

"I'm glad to hear that you're okay, then I'll leave too. Take care of yourself, Leathina."

After confirming the state of Leathina Winter finally left Leathina in her room.

"Miss Leathina, is there anything you need?"

Seeing Winter leaving Leathina's room, Anne immediately went inside to check on Leathina.

"Anne, I don't need anything right now. I just want to rest."

"Alright Miss, if there's anything you want to need please ring Miss' bell."

Anne then went out to let Leathina herself to rest.

"I've really come back." Mumbled Leathina dropped herself just like that on her bed.

I hope everything will be fine, hopefully my return will not bring disaster.

"Huff"

Leathina exhaled a long breath then closed her eyes and finally completely fell asleep from exhaustion.
