The Chapte 73

“Nona.. Missy.. Miss Leathina.”

“Umm.. What's up Anne? Let me sleep in a minute.”

“Nona must wake up, this is the closing day of the Festival you must immediately prepare.”

“This is still day, while the closure is later at night.”

“Just Miss should get up, miss can get dizzy later. Already from yesterday Miss just slept and kept quiet in the room.”

“I have to replenish my energy back, I use a lot of energy while in the forest.”

“I'm sure Miss's energy is fully charged, look now your weight may have gone up.”

“Really?”

Anne forced Leathina to open her eyes and after she managed to wake Leathina she then immediately came out preparing everything for Leathina.

Hufft.. was tired of feeling even though the closure was pushed back because of the last incident, this was the third day after I was declared innocent and it had been three days anyway I was only in my room.

Leathina let out a long sigh then went back to lying down after Anne came out and covered her entire body with a blanket.

“Eh. kok even sleep again.” When Anne went back into Leathina's room she saw that her Lady had fallen asleep again.

“Wake Miss, wake.” To wake Leathina Anne shook Leathina's body trying to resuscitate her.

“Umm.. Anne I'm sleepy let me sleep for a while longer.”

“Can't Miss.”

“Why?”

“Mr Duke and Duchess, ask Miss to eat together at the dinner table.”

“Eh?”

Leathina opened her eyes immediately after hearing Anne's words and sat down and looked at Anne trying to make sure that her hearing had misheard what Anne had said.

“Anne say again what you just said.”

“Mr and Madam asked Miss to have lunch together this afternoon.”

“Oh, it turns out I didn't hear wrong. I don't want, why should I eat with them after so many – years.”Leathina mindlessly refused her father's request and dropped her body back to sleep and covered her head with her blanket.

“Ba.. well then I will tell them that Miss is still unwell.”

Should I eat with them? I don't seem to need to because I usually eat alone. But, if I remember – remember Duke Leonard and the others have been kind to me the end of this final –. I had to be a little nice to them to get back at him before I left.

“Eh wait for Anne! I'll eat with them. Help me get ready.”Leathina yelled to stop Anne who had half her body through the door, then lazily Leathina sat down and shifted to the edge of her bed while occasionally yawning and patting her cheeks slowly trying to relieve her drowsiness.

“Alright, I'll help Miss Leathina to get ready.” A smile rose on Anne's face upon hearing Leathina's words then deftly she began to help Leathina to prepare.

Leathina was finally done and came out of her room for the first time after three days of huddling up on her bed. But, not a moment later both of Leathina's eyebrows furrowed she felt that there was something strange about the – people living in the Yarnell family residence.

What's with – people? They don't usually behave this strangely towards me.

Every servant or person who passed Leathina bowed politely and greeted Leathina kindly even the maid whom Leathina had slapped bowed to her.

“Anne, has something happened?” Leathina whispered to Anne who was walking with her to take her to the dining table.

“Why are – people so friendly to me today? Look at them bowing to me and even smiling when they see me.”

“Why ask miss, shouldn't it be like that?”

“No, no, there must be something wrong. You know what their attitude is, do you know something?”

“Look lady, didn't there used to be a female demon wandering around and healing people – people in the mansion. They really appreciate the help of that demon so maybe because of that.”

With Anne's serious face closer to Leathina, she began to whisper, and smiled broadly as she was about to end. While Leathina who knew Anne's intentions only rolled her eyeballs because Anne managed to play tricks on her.

“Sit!” Duke Leonard gave the order upon seeing Leathina enter the room.

Leathina nodded then chose to sit on the seat she thought was the furthest with her family.

“Why are you sitting there? Sit near your father, Nicholas and Nora will sit next to me.” sees Leathina who deliberately took a slightly separated seat with their Duchess Nice immediately ask Leathina to sit back in a new place.

“Ah, no need I'm comfortable sitting here.”

“Sit here!” Duke Leonard again gave the order by pointing at the empty seat that was nearby.

A little awkwardly Leathina got out of her seat and moved to the chair her father showed her, after which the servants began to prepare food for Leathina.

“But, dad do you have anything you want to say to me?”

“Nothing, eat quietly.”

“But why did you call me to join?”

“It certainly takes a reason if the family eats together.” Duke Leonard spoke while focusing on enjoying his own meal, without glancing at Leathina who was inviting him to speak.

“Tap.”

“Eat your soup will cool.”

When Leathina again wanted to ask, Nicholas who had been anxious to see Leathina who kept – continuously asked cut off Leathina's words and told her to eat her food immediately.

“Ah, yes, yes I will eat. I'll definitely eat it. I'm afraid your food will also I snatch!” With a lazy tone Leathina retorted Nicholas' words.

Uh! What was that, he smiled? Did he just smile? I'm sure I saw the corners of her lips expand.

While fixing her sitting position Leathina unintentionally caught a glimpse of Duke Leonard smiling. But when he reconfirmed what he had just seen, now Leathina only saw her father's flat face back.

“Nora is there anything you want to tell me? You've been staring at me since I came?” Leathina realizes that Nora has been risking her from the beginning and asks him because there may be something that her youngest sister wants to tell him.

Nora who arrived – arrived getting a question from Leathina shook her head quickly and then immediately lowered her head took a glass of water and drank it.

“I'm full.” Nora hunt – hurriedly finished her lunch and jumped down from her seat immediately leaving the room.

“What's wrong with her, it's not usually that she ignores me like that.” Leathina muttered after Nora left the room.

After Nora left, Leathina refocused on the food in front of her. The same thing was done by Duke Leonard, Nicholas and Duchess Nice until only the sound of forks and spoons clashing against each other on a plate.

I thought there would be something they wanted to tell me because this was the first time they had asked me specifically, but this time they only properly – called me to eat together.
