I'M A Villains In My Second Life
Chapter 115's

Leathina drove her horse slowly as she passed through the hustle and stopped for a while at a roadside food stall and took a seat at the very corner to read the letter Toni gave her.

.........

Greetings Miss Leathina.

Forgive me for not sending you letters while I was in exile because the guards did not allow me to send you letters that I had written. I read a letter sent to me by a boy. I have visited my sister Diane in the dungeon and I hope you can visit me soon.”

...Denise...

.........

“Guardians didn't allow him to write letters? that means even if I ordered the guard there to allow him to send a letter, the letter written will definitely be checked first by the guards and automatically the guard will read it.”

After reading the letter that Denisa wrote for her Leathina then burned it on a candle that was burning in front of her which was deliberately placed on the table as a decoration.

“That's why Denisa asked me to come visit her to tell me directly the information she had heard from her brother because Denisa was afraid the guards would read the letter she sent.” Leathina muttered softly while watching the paper she burned had now become ashes.”

“Someone you want to order, Miss?” Ask the waiter who came to Leathina by showing the menu board plastered near the cashier table.

“Ah, sorry sir I'm in a hurry I won't order anything because it has to go now.” Leathina replied as she got out of her seat to get out of the food store.

“Huh, You poor adventurer sok-soan goes into any store just to hitchhike rest.” The maid muttered softly but could still be heard by Leathina and then left Leathina with a face.

Leathina simply smiled wryly and continued her steps out and returned to her residence.

“Surge! Give way!” Shouted a horse-driver to the people on the street about to marginalize his chariot.

The coachman's shout attracted Leathina's attention, making Leathina curious as to what kind of noble would get off the horse carriage.

Leathina continued to observe from the other side of the street where she saw the horseman who was now opening the carriage door and letting a noblewoman down.

“Yasmine?” Leathina muttered when she saw a young woman get off the train and immediately enter the building in front of which was clearly written “Home Judi” she saw Yasmine covered her face with a fan as if scared when seen by the people.

“What did the thousand-faced woman do in the gambling house? This is inversely proportional to his personality that is plain in the eyes of people.”

“Not my business, I have to come back soon.” Leathina muttered softly then continued her journey to where she tied her horse.

But a while later due to curiosity Leathina turned around and immediately ran across the road to the gambling house entered by Yasmine and immediately entered into it.

Leathina silently followed Yasmine who was walking several meters in front of her.

“Nona Yasmine, welcome.” Sapa an old man whose hair is now starting to whiten he welcomed Yasmine's arrival and immediately embraced his waist.

“Greetings Grand Duke Alcott.” Yasmine replied with a smile.

Leathina continued to observe the two of them from a distance, seeing Yasmine quite impressed with the grand duke Alcott. They both seemed to be discussing something important.

“What did that old man do with Yasmine?” Murmured Leathina while following the grand duke Alcott and Yasmine who were now moving places wanted to enter a privacy room.

“Sorry Miss, This is a Special area for noble customers ordinary people should not enter.”

A servant blocked Leathina at the door of the hallway as she was about to follow the man she was following.

“Oh, Jeez.” Decak Leathina is upset that she almost lost Yasmine.

“Take this.” Leathina hurriedly handed over a bag of money to the servant who was blocking her.

“Oh, Jeez. I didn't see anything and it looks like I have a job I have to finish.” Said the waiter after receiving Leathina's bag of money and acted as if nothing had happened.

Leathina hastily entered an area of privacy reserved for use only by nobles, his eyes caught the figure of Yasmine who was still together with grand duke Alcott entering the room and from the room sounded the laughter of several men and women.

“Oh Grand duke Alcott and Miss Yasmine.”

“Welcome.” Greet the people who were inside the room when grand duke Alcott and Yasmine entered simultaneously.

Leathina quietly caught up with Yasmine and stood in front of the room while putting up her listener senses and pretending to be the bodyguard of one of the nobles who was waiting for her master outside.

“We should now be careful running this business.” Said one of the nobles starting a conversation.

“This is really because of the fucker, Tesro. The business I was in was a mess and the profits were declining.”

“True, lately because the royal guard caught them other business owners also took part in the investigation.”

“How about you Miss Yasmine don't you plan on running your own business?” Ask someone to Leathina.

“I have not intended Master, I only ask to invest my money in the slavery and prostitution business owned by the Grand duke.”

“Hahaha you're really something Miss Yasmine, I didn't expect your innocent face to be out of proportion to your behavior.” Grand duke Alcott said with a laugh.

“So they are business owners of slavery sales centers and women illegally, they are an alliance of dark business owners apparently Dan Yasmine one of them.”

Leathina continued to sharpen her hearing trying to hear more information but Leathina only heard a lot of unimportant talk and nonsense from the nobles in the room.

“It seems like there is nothing more I can get, I have to come back soon.” Leathina muttered then walked out of the gambling house.

“Gawat, it's too late.” Leathina muttered with hurried steps into her place tying her horse.

Quickly he mounted his horse and drove it back to the Yarnell family's residence.

“Duh, I can't go in take this horse with me.” Leathina looked at the several guards who were walking around the mansion to check on the situation.

“I'm sorry.” Leathina said to her horse before leaving her.

Leathina went around the mansion heading west tying her horse between the trees after it jumped over the guardrail and broke through the bushes and ended up entering the park.

Leathina quietly walked in the yard occasionally hiding to avoid the guards and immediately went under her room which was on the second floor and started climbing up by stepping on the cracks of the walls that were deliberately in make it as a vent on the bring floor and finally make it to the window of his room and immediately go inside.

“Oh Jolly.”  Leathina was shocked as someone tried to open the door of her room from outside.

“Sorry young master, Miss Leathina told me not to be disturbed.” There was the sound of Anne trying to hold someone short barged into Leathina's room.

“Anne, I just want to check for a moment if Leathina is okay.”

“That's Nicholas' voice, why he came to my room this late.” Leathina muttered as she just stepped one foot through the window of her room.

“True Anne, we just want to check on the state of Leathina's sister since last afternoon in keep locking herself in her room she hasn't even had dinner.” Nora's voice tries to convince Anne not to hold them both.

“But, but Miss Leathina locked her door from inside young master.” Said Anne in a voice trembling with fear.

“You have the spare key, right?” Ask Nicholas again to Anne

“Iya Anne you must have a spare key to Leathina's sister's room.”

“Clek.”

“Brakk.”

Anne finally opened the door and opened the door until a squeaking sound was heard and opened it wide so that it could be passed by Nicholas and Nora.

The two of them walked up to Leathina followed by Anne behind her. Leathina was sleeping soundly on her bed and her whole body was covered by a blanket.

“Sister Leathina is right asleep.” Nora murmured as she watched Leathina fall asleep.

“He's fine, let's go back Nora. Don't let us wake him.” Invite Nicholas after being relieved to see Leathina is fine.

“Sister seems to be overheated see he sweats.” Nora pointed at Leathina's sweaty face.

“Wait first kak.” Nora said again then took out her handkerchief from her pants pocket and drenched Leathina's sweat.

“It's done?” Nicholas asked Nora and replied with a nod.

“Then we must return immediately.”

The two of them then walked out of Leathina's room after feeling relieved to have checked Leathina's condition and after that Anne immediately locked her back from the outside with a spare key that she held.

Leathina opened her one eye to peek if Nicholas and Nora had actually gone from her room.

He saw that the door of his room had been locked and saw no one in his room.

“Huff”

Leathina breathes a sigh of relief. Then immediately came out from within his blanket and removed his robe and his sword which was still hanging on his waist. Leathina put back her sword and folded her robe back then put it back in the closet.

“Oh, my God, I almost got caught leaving my room in secret. I better have to ask for my spare room key that's on Anne.” Leathina murmured as she laid herself back.

...

The next day Anne fearfully reported the incident last night to Leathina. That he let Nicholas and Nora into his room with the spare key he had.

“Anne, Didn't I say that I don't want to be disturbed.” Leathina pretended not to know.

“I'm sorry Miss, but the young master kept forcing because he was worried about Miss who never came out of the lady's room since noon even missed dinner time.”

“Well this time I will forgive, now hand over the spare key you hold.”

“But, Miss what if there will be unwanted circumstances and Miss Leathina locked inside.”

“It won't happen, give it to me now.”

“Is it possible that Miss doesn't trust me anymore?” Anne asked Leathina.

“It's not that, it's just that I don't like to be bothered you certainly won't be able to push Nicholas and Nora's orders. So, give me now the spare key, I'll save it.”

“Alright Miss Leathina.”

With a heavy heart Anne finally handed over the spare key she held to Leathina.

“Now come back, you don't have to be by my side all day. I just want to read.”

“Nona Leathina, Duchess Nice asked if Miss has time today the Duchess would like to come visit.”

“Duchess Nice? For what?”

“It looks like want to discuss the welcoming party that will be carried out later.”

“I'm busy, just tell her that I'll love whatever party theme Duchess Nice will use.”

“But Miss celebration later is not only a welcoming party but also a celebration of Miss Leathina's twenty-first birthday.”

“My year's date?” Leathina asked Anne again.

“Ah, that... that is. actually because Miss does not like to celebrate the birthday of the lady and previously never in the title of master and madam decided to replace it as a celebration of welcome only.” Anne explained nervously for fear of Leathina scolding him.

“Alright I understand, just tell the duchess as I said.” Said Leathina then grabbed a book that was on the table ats and read it.

“Alright Miss Leathina.”

Anne then came out of Leathina's room to tell the duchess nice what Leathina said.

“So my second birthday celebration one year huh?” leathina muttered after Anne left and put back the book she picked up on the table.

“*A*I had to think of something that could dismantle Yasmine's true nature before fooling a lot of people, and it seemed that Yasmine was the one that I should suspect as the one who wanted my death so badly.”

Leathina moved from her seat to her desk, taking out a blank paper and pen.

“ Alright, I have to do my own investigation.” Leathina then began to work out her plans and tag people who might be related to her.

Leathina made a list of the names of the people she suspected, and circled Yasmine's name, then the name of grand duke Alcott and several more names that she had heard while at the gambling house.

“What should I include in the list of people I will investigate?” Leathina asked herself while looking at the list of names she had written down earlier.

“They can of course be a suspect seen how much they dislike me being a candidate for crown princess.”

And in the end Leathina circled the names of Prince Yardley and queen Juliette.

“It looks like I will have a lot of work, but I'd better do it slowly so that my movement is not suspected.”

“And for now let's investigate our main suspect.” Leathina muttered again while crossing Yasmine's name with her pen.

“Tok.. tok.. tok.

“Excuse Miss Leathina.”

Suddenly Leathina was shocked by the knocking sound of her bedroom door following the voice of Anne who called out to her. Leathina quickly folded the paper she had written and kept it under the pile of books on her desk and picked up a random book pretending to be reading.

“What's Anne?” Shouted Leathina from inside her room trying to prevent Anne from entering before her position was cleared.

“Duchess Nice, come want to meet you.”

“For what else did Duchess Nice meet me? I don't have to run to the door and welcome it. Well I'll act like always.”

“Come in!” Shouted Leathina again ruling Anne.
