“Excuse Miss Leathina.” Said Anne after opening Leathina's room door.

“Please enter Madam.”then let Duchess Nice enter the room.

“Duchess Nice, What brought you come to my room?” Tanya Leathina then moved from her seat and moved to the chair in the middle of her room.

“Darling, this mother of yours wants to take you to the clothing store to buy some new dresses for you, which you can wear during the party later.” Duchess Nice entered the room and took her own seat, although Leathina was not yet welcome. The Duchess of Nice sat down gracefully right in front of Leathina.

“Uhg? Jeez I really feel weird seeing duchess Nice being gentle with me when I remember her treatment the first time I opened my eyes.”

“Umm, Duchess Nice. I'm sorry, but can you behave as usual? I feel uncomfortable.”

“What do you mean? Isn't it natural for a mother to behave like this.” Duchess Nice replied indifferently.

“Oh, okay. I'll act like always if you want to call me mom and let me dress you up.” Duchess Nice said after a moment of silence.

“And if I don't want to, what will you do.” Leathina asked in a defiant tone.

“Oh Gosh, I'm really happy to hear that. All right I'll wait for you at that in two pulu minutes.” Duchess Nice developed a smile on her face and immediately walked out leaving Leathina in her room.

“Be careful Madam.” Anne escorted the Duchess of Nice until Leathina's doorstep removed her departure after which she immediately re-entered.

Leathina leaned her back against the back of the chair and massaged her increasing after Duchess Nice left her room.

“What Miss want me to make tea to reduce headaches?” Anne asked when she saw that she looked exhausted.

“Anne?” Leathina again straightened her back and her gaze headed towards Anne who was now standing beside her.

“What's Miss?”

“Anne after I fainted that night what happened after?” Leathina asked her servant.

“After Miss passed out, Miss and I were almost dragged into the dungeon by the soldiers on Master Duke's orders. Fortunately young master Nora came along with the Duchess and young master Nicholas explained the true incident happened that night.”

“What about Janneth? Where is he now?”

“Knowing her truth makes lord duke Leonard very angry and on the unfounded charges he made to Miss who almost made Miss Leathina imprisoned finally the woman was locked in a dungeon for two years.”

“What did Janneth mention another name when he was taken to jail?”

“If it is not wrong Miss Janneth had accused Miss Yasmine when, he said that because Miss Yasmine was the one who told the whereabouts of Miss Leathina.”

“Yasmine? As I remember that night Yasmine never saw me so where did that woman know where I was.”

“What did Yasmine say?” Leathina asked who was seriously listening to Anne's explanation.

“It was just an accusation to offend others, Ms. Yasmine said before the incident she had met with young master Nora, Young master Nora was the one who told Yasmine about Miss Leathina's whereabouts that's why she could tell where Miss is.”

“Leathina hurry, I've been waiting for you downstairs. Why are you so troublesome.” Suddenly Nicholas was standing in the doorway asking Leathina to get ready.

“If you don't want to bother you should just ask the waiter to call me, why do you love coming to my room.” Leathina spoke as she walked towards the door of her room.

“Brack.”

Then close the door tightly until it makes a loud enough sound.

“She almost blinds my face flat.” Nicholas muttered as the door Leathina closed almost hit her face as she stood only inches away from the door.

“Your number should get ready soon.” Said Anne who hurriedly walked towards Leathia's wardrobe and picked up the clothes for Leathina to use and helped her change clothes.

“Anne is there something I can use so that my face is not too visible, I do not like it if later people talk about me.”

“Oh well Miss wait a minute.”

After she finished sucking and soon came out, Anne ran back to the closet and got Leathina a hat to wear Leathina.

Anne escorted Leathina to the horse-drawn carriage that was waiting for her outside the mansion.

“Be careful Miss, hope your trip is fun.” Anne said before Leathina got into the car.

“Please leave.” Shouting Anne told the coachman and then the carriage that Leathina had been riding on slowly moved away from the mansion.

“Kakak Leathina.” Greet Nora as Leathina enters the horse carriage.

“I don't know if you two will come with us.” Leathina spoke while looking at Nora who was sitting next to Duchess Nice on the seat in front of her while she sat side by side with Nicholas.

“There should be men escorting you two instead, I just had to join.” Nicholas then turned his face towards the window looking out.

“Your father actually really wants to come with us but unfortunately the work is too much.” Duchess Nice spoke to Leathina.

For almost twenty minutes the journey to the capital was just the sound of footsteps of horses that continued to sound to tighten the silence between the four of them. No one starts a conversation and just dissolves into their respective minds until the horse carriage they use stops right at a clothing store that looks quite luxurious, and is, look at the storefront kacs that show off some fancy dresses.

Shops that seemed like they could only be entered by people from among the nobility or people who had a lot of money. It was seen that some women entered the store and some came out followed by her servants who carried several boxes containing the dresses they had bought.

The four of them got off as the coachman opened the door and let them down.

“Please note your steps.” Nicholas said to Leathina he caught Leathina who almost fell because she tripped her own leg and helped her stand up well again.

One of the dresses on display in the storefront caught Leathina's attention and Leathina subconsciously almost fell because her attention was distracted.

He saw a sky blue dress with a long cuton cloth dangling down which seemed to be made of satin cloth the upper part is open and will show off the shoulders if worn.

"Simplified but very elegant." Leathina muttered involuntarily.

“Oh Jeez, beautiful dress. It will fit you perfectly.” Duchess Nice wondered where Leathina's eyes were and looked in the same direction as Leathina and finally saw Leathina's dress.

“Not really, it's just that the dress looks beautiful in my eyes.”

“Really? Then you have a very good vision. Let's go in and buy it for you.”

Duchess Nice clasped Leathina's hand and pulled her inside. A waiter who recognized his special customer immediately came over welcoming.

“I came to buy clothes for my three children.” The Duchess answered nice while looking towards Nora, Nicholas and Leathina who were standing almost in line.

“Oh Jeez your kids are really very handsome madam.” Said the servant as he looked towards Nicholas and Nora.

“You didn't see my daughter? I also came with my daughter.” Madam Duchess told the maid and pointed at Leathina who was also with Nicholas and Nora.

“Ah, Jeez forgive me Madam I really did not know that you turned out to have a child per..” His words stopped when he looked at Leathina even though the maid could not see Leathina's face clearly because of the big hat she was wearing but she could still see Leathina's red hair unraveling.

“I'm sorry Miss, I don't mean to ignore you I don't know if you've returned.” After realizing who the woman who came with Duchess Nice, the waiter quickly bowed apologizing for ignoring Leathina. Although he had never met in person but he had heard many rumors about him making the waiter frightened and broke out in a cold sweat.

“It's okay, continue your work.” Said Leathina then again saw the dresses displayed around her.

“Now show where are the clothes of Women and men?” Duchess Nice asked the waiter.

“Alright Madam, men's clothes are here and women's clothes are there.” the waiter politely shows where the women's and men's clothes are.

“Good.” Duchess Nice said understand. “Leathina I will see the clothes for your sisters first after that accompany you choose clothes, you go around and see who knows there are other dresses that you really want.”

Leathina nodded in understanding and allowed Madam Duchess to go with Nora and Nicholas to buy clothes first.

“Umm Miss, I'm sorry if I was presumptuous but if allowed I want to drive you around as an apology from me.” The waiter asked Leathina timidly.

“Alright, show me the way.”

“Listen Miss.”

The waiter excitedly drove Leathina around to look at the dresses in the clothing store.

“So is there a dress that Miss wants?” The waiter asked Leathina after taking her around to see all the dresses on display in the store.

“I want to buy that dress.” Leathina pointed at the dress she had seen at the storefront.

“Your eyes are good Miss, it's a fancy dress designed by our own boss and there's only one, we do not make much because it is made only to be worn by certain people, for example like you Miss.” The waiter gave Leathina an explanation as she walked towards the different storefronts at the front of the store.

“I also want some casual dresses and clothes that I can use comfortably.” Leathina went back to tell the waiter.

“Alright Miss, I understand. I'll take this dress down first from the storefront before someone picks it up.”

The waiter took down the blue dress that Leathin wanted from the etalation and would soon wrap it up for Leathina.

“Hey the dress is mine!” Suddenly a young woman who had just entered the store shouted to stop the waiter.

“I'm sorry Miss Grecia, but this dress has been bought.” The waiter tried to explain to the arrogant young lady who had come to them.

“What family does he come from?” Leathina asked at the waiter.

Automatically Leathina's body segere moves to help the waiter and help him get back on his feet.

“You all right? Is there anything that breaks?” Leathina asked the waiter without caring for Grecia who was now staring at her in anger with Leathina's attitude.

“Thank you very much Miss, I. I.. it's okay.” The servant replied in fear when he saw Grecia.

“What did you say?! How dare a woman like you say to me!” Screaming of Grecia by raising his hand at Leathina's face.

“Who dares to touch me.” Screaming Grecia was upset when suddenly someone caught his hand and stopped him from behind.

“Ni.. Nicholas, what are you doing here.” Grecia stuttered as she turned around and saw Nicholas holding her hand.

“What are you doing Miss Grecia?” Nicholas asked and let go of Grecia's hand and immediately approached Leathina. “You all right?” Nicholas asked again while examining Leathina.

“Let go, I'm fine.” Leathina pushed Nicholas' body away from her. “You know this arrogant woman?” Leathina asked Nicholas.

“He's the son of two grand dukes Alcott and my fiancee.”

“You've sprouted? Since when? And why should women like.” Leathina's eyes were rounded in shock at Nicholas's statement just now.

“You forgot well I have been engaged to her since I was fifteen years old and this engagement is not my wish.”

“Wait, wait a minute Nicholas who is this woman you cheated on?” Grecia shouted to attract the attention of the shop visitors.

“Dragon your words Grecia! She's my sister Leathina.”

“Oh, Jeez! While inside the Yarnell family's carriage, Duchess Nice continued to examine Leathina's face.

“Are you okay, Leathina? Did he slap you?” Duchess Nice asked while looking at Leathina's face.

“I was fine, before the woman rebuked Nicholas had already stopped him.” Leathina tried to explain but did not make the Duchess stop.

“Gosh I was so worried earlier, I should accompany you first to choose the new clothes of these two children.” Said the Duchess while leaning back as she was relieved nothing happened to Leathina..

“But shouldn't you be more worried about Nicholas, you've just canceled his engagement without asking him his opinion first.” Leathina asked as she glanced at Nicholas who was just speechless and looked out the window of the carriage. Leathina felt guilty for making Nicholas cancel her engagement.

“You don't have to worry about me.” Nicholas told Leathina.

“Yes you don't have to worry about Leathina, actually Nicholas has been asking for his engagement to be canceled with Grecia but for some reason made his wish can not be granted by your father. Our family relationship and the grand duke's family is not good and to improve the relationship of the two grand duke families Alcott proposes to marry the children of both families in order to keep a good relationship.” Duchess Nice tries to explain to Leathina who looks very guilty over the nullification of Nicholas and Grecia's engagement.

“But still it.” Mumbled Leathina quietly.

“Do not think again, we will go to the next store.” Duchess Nice tried to melt the slightly stifling atmosphere due to the incident earlier.
