Chapter 125's

It took an hour for Leathina to return to the capital and fifteen minutes for the journey back to her residence on her horse.

After seeing her own residence from a distance Leathina paused for a while and breathed a long breath her long journey finally ended and immediately resumed her journey again.

Upon entering the gate two guards came to him in confusion but immediately bowed respectfully as Leathina removed the hood of her robe and exposed her face.

“Welcome back Miss Leathina.” Greet her after Leathina got off her horse and the other guards immediately took over the horse that Leathina used to bring her back to the stables.

“Treat him well, feed and drink.” Leathina's orders to the guard who brought her horse.

“Good Miss Leathina.” His reply obediently bowed politely before actually going to the stables.

“Jeez Miss Leathina you have returned.” Anne's strangulation then hurriedly ran towards Leathina.

Anne immediately helped Leathina remove her robe and hung it on her left arm and took Leathina's cloth bag. Then followed Leathina from behind who walked back to her room.

“Leathina!” Panggi Duke Leonard and Winter almost simultaneously cross paths with Leathina in the corridor while on her way to her room.

Duke Leonard and Winter continued to watch Leathina until the woman stopped right in front of them then slightly bowed to give her greetings after which standing straight back up.

“Leathina where have you been for a few days? Looks like your trip is quite far.” Duke Leonard asked then his eyes turned on the robe and cloth bag carried by Anne then glanced at the tip of Leathina's dress which looked dirty exposed to splashes of mud.

“I visited an old friend.” Leathina answered briefly without dizzying the curious gazes of the two people blocking her path.

“Oh, yes I almost forgot. Father how important is the elf race in this kingdom?” Leathina asked suddenly recalling the incident she had just witnessed.

“Nation elves are generally protected by all kingdoms because they keep the four elements of life Water, fire, wind, and earth, and, their race is the only one who can control all of it for generations hence no one dares to disturb the race of the elves.”

“What if someone kidnaps one of the elves and smuggles it in and uses it in secret. What is the penalty of doing such a thing?”

“I'm not sure it's a serious enough crime, sometimes the elven king himself will punish them. Their personalities are arrogant and temperament so it will be difficult to deal with them. “How were your talks with Mr Duke?” Anne asked Leathina after Leathina returned from Duke Leonard's room and had now finished cleaning her body.

Anne carefully helped Leathina dry her wet hair with a towel.

“Walking smoothly.” His answer then moved from his seat to his bed.

“Have you prepared what I asked before I left, Anne?” leathina asked as she put her body down and Anne helped her cover her body with a blanket.

“Already Miss.” The answer was short then to turn off some candles because Leathina was about to go to sleep.

“Stay keep it secret until the day the party comes.” Pinta Leathin then closed her eyes.

Seeing that Leathina had fallen asleep, Anne went back to fixing Leathina's blanket and then immediately went out to let her sleep comfortably.

“Duh, this stupid prince is too naive. Aren't you interested in me? Why even bring up friendships now.” One of Yasmien's eyebrows twitched in annoyance but he managed to cover it with a sweet smile.

“Oh yes. I heard Miss Leathina Yarnell has finally been found and returned to the kingdom.” Yasmine then insinuates the talk and focuses the topic on Leathina.

“Iya I heard it.” Prince Yardely replied then paused for a moment to think of something in his mind as Yasmine mentioned Leathina's name.

“Thank God Miss Leathina returned safely. But I'm a little worried..” The expression on Yasmine's face smoothly kept changing. He put on a happy face at the beginning and then replaced it with sad and frightened experiments afterwards and managed to attract the attention of everyone including Prince Yardley who had indeed from the beginning continued to pay attention to it.

“No need your Prince should not leave the palace just because a woman like me, I know you are very busy meeting with the prince alone is an honor for me.” The connection again then glanced back towards Edward's arrival. “But if the Prince forces, maybe Prince Edward can drive me.” Yasmine said again then stood right beside Edward.

“You're willing to drop him off?” Yardley asked Edward and had seen Yasmine holding Edward's hand and resting her head on Edward's shoulder.

“No I'm busy too.” Edward replied while brushing Yasmine's hand and then grabbing Yasmine's shoulders from the front to end looking at each other.

Yasmine smiled sweetly as Edward looked into her eyes instantly feeling like he had managed to approach one step at Edward because all this time Edward had continued to ignore him.

“ROLAND!” Edward's words suddenly made Yamine's eyes widen.

Edward who saw Yasmine's reaction grinned then patted Yasmine's shoulder softly.

“Who?” prince Yardely asked Edward because of the name Edward mentioned.

“I don't know who either but I've heard that name from someone, do you know Miss Yasmine?” Edward asked Yasmine then segea released Yasmine and gave her a little away.

“Ak-I don't know who that prince is, where might I know such a name.” Yasmine replied nervously then forced her smile.

“Alright Miss Yasmine Prince Yardley has an important affair now you better return I have prepared a train that will take you back to the Baron residence.” Edward then invited Yasmine to leave them behind.

In a hurry Yasmine immediately left prince Edward and prince Yardley back to her residence and a servant immediately escorted Yasmine to the carriage that Edward had provided for her.

“So what made you come to see me Edward?” Prince Yardely asked after Yasmine left.

“We were both ordered by father to go to Duke Leonard Yarnell's residence.”

“Ah, I definitely want to meet me again with Leathina right? The woman is still asking dad to.” Yardely snorted then crossed her hands in front of her chest.

“Prakk” Edward deliberately nudged the flower vase on the table until it fell and broke.

“Don't finish what you said if you don't want me to cut it with this shard of vase.” Edward's emotions suddenly boiled over when he heard Yardley's mocking Leathina.

“Hey, hey, I know you don't like trite talk but isn't that joking of yours overdoing it for your own brother?”

“Oh, I must be too tired.” Said Edward then.

“This meeting is due to the diplomatic affairs of the kingdom so do not misunderstand and Miss Leathina who will help us, so do not carelessly speak.”

“With which kingdom?” Ask Yardley.

“Not a kingdom but if something goes wrong then there will be a big problem that could have been another kingdom will attack.”

“All right I understand.”

Yasmine finally arrives at the train that Edward gave her to take her home and the waiter who escorted her immediately invites her to board and asks the coachman to bring her back immediately.

“Where did Prince Edward know about Roland? But even if he knew nothing would happen to me. Roland could definitely keep his mouth shut well.”

Yasmine continued to pinch her own hand out of worry to the point of making the back of her wrist turn red from her own actions.

Yasmine tried to calm herself down by breathing as much air as possible and exhaling it softly through her mouth.

“Where does this foul scent come from.” Yasmine immediately covered her mouth with a handkerchief and opened the window of the carriage letting the air in for the foul smell she smelled to disappear.

But even though the air had entered the whole car the stench that Yasmine smelled did not disappear, the smell continues to smell and even worse makes Yasmine dizzy and nauseous because it continues to smell bad.

“Ahrg! Where does this stench come from!” his screams were irritated while popping his head out at the window checking if there was a carcass stuck in the carriage, but ended up re-entering because it found nothing.

Yasmine tried to figure out where the stench came from inside the carriage then discovered that the stench was coming from where she was sitting and immediately stood checking her seat and found nothing. He then lowered his head to the bench and checked back.

“AAAaaaaaa!!” Yasmine's screams suddenly after looking down at her seat.

“What's Miss?” Ask the coachman who escorted Yasmine from outside after hearing the screams from inside the carriage.

“No, nothing just go on.” Yasmine screamed to tell the coachman who was carrying her.

Yasmine inched in a corner of the carriage her body trembled at the sight of a human head that was simply placed on her seat. He was seen occasionally to be sure and the human head was still there and in one of his eyes had even removed maggots and cheeks that had been perforated by rotting.

“Roland!” Yasmine closed her mouth then turned her face the other way because she was not strong enough to see it.

“Why this guy could be here, he, he, has really died.”

“Hekk!!” Yasmine screeched again when she saw the body piece roll following where the carriage swayed.

“Tak”

The train stopped, was at Yasmine's silence before the coachman opened the door for her Yasmine had opened it and jumped down and then flushed into her residence without turning her head.
