Edward had prepared all his necessities to go to the eastern forest along with Aelfric and their duke Leonard promised to meet the others after passing through the royal border gate, so that their departure remains secret and does not invite a lot of attention especially to the position of Duke Leonard who will be vacant for a while and only replaced by his son Nicholas and Winter who helped him.

“Do we not need to see Leathina first before leaving?” Aelfric asked Edward, who was a little disappointed not to do a farewell with Leathina before returning to his hometown.

“No need, it will take a long time to separate you with Leathina later if you see her before leaving.” Edward replied while casually spurring his horse on their journey both to the royal border.

“Hum, just tell me you won't be able to hold your feelings later if you see Leathina before leaving.” Aelfric muttered when Edward did not want to fulfill his wish to go see Leathina before going to the eastern forest,  “You don't want to go see her for fear of not being able to hold back your feelings and not being able to leave her with her current state, you naive base!” Aelfric deliberately kept his distance from Edward and started babbling because he was annoyed with the person in front of him.

“Hek!” aelfric screeched as his horse collided with Edward's horse which suddenly stopped in front of him.

“You look frustrated bro!” aelfric murmured softly so that Edward could not hear what he had said and using a relaxed tone of speech then stopped his horse's pace right behind Edward because Edward also now stopped the pace of his horse.

“What?!” Ask Aelfric again when he feels uneasy because Edward keeps looking at him.”I know you're sad now, so I refrained from getting into a fight with you so stop looking at me like that and walk away!” aelfric exclaimed indifferently then turned his gaze the other way because he did not want to see Edward's Face.

“Street in front! Big mouth, save your words when you return to the eastern forest. I'll make sure you get a heavy sentence!” said Edward ruled then kicked the horse ridden by Aelfric to immediately walk in front of him.

“You ..” Aelfric's words were interrupted in surprise when his horse suddenly sped faster and walked in front of him to the point that he almost fell for not holding on as Edward kicked his horse.

After trying to keep his balance so as not to fall and managed to stabilize the pace of his horse Aelfric continued to snort annoyed and glanced at Edward who was now walking beside him, but this time Aelfric did not dare to outwit fear if it made Edward angry, his mouth he locked tightly just the expression of his face that Aelfric could not control.

“I know some elves are bestowed with the ability to see into human souls but that's only for elves with high status, I can't believe this brat being one of the elf races that has it that means he's not from the lower class elf race could be that he has royal blood. “Be careful dad, come back safely.” Nora's words let go of her father.

Duke Leonard also gently rubbed Nora's hair before going into the eastern forest.

Winter and Nicholas cried almost simultaneously when entering Leathina's Room.

“Have you wanted to go?” nicholas asked his father.

Duke Leonard immediately put on the hood of his robe which almost covered half his face then jumped up onto his horse and immediately left his residence towards the eastern forest.

“I'll be back in Leathina's room for a bit.” Nicholas told Winter.

“Alright, then I will go directly to your father's office.” Winter replies, leaving Nicholas and Nora standing outside.

“Nora, go back to your room and rest.”

“But I also want to go back to the room sister Leathina.” Nora disagreed.

“You have to take care of your health too, you're still a kid. You don't want your body shorter than Leathina when you grow up, how do you take care of Leathina if you can't take care of yourself.”

Upon entering Leathina's room she saw Leathina still lying on her bed, her eyes did not turn aside but continued to pay attention to Leathina and finally took a seat on the chair that was on the side of Leathina's bed.

“Didn't your body ache constantly lying down like a dead man like that?” nicholas asked Leathina after sitting on her bedside.

“You always do it, can't you just be quiet and calm like the other noble ladies. Why do you always do everything yourself, at least ask dad's rock or me if you have a problem.” Nicholas said then took Leathina's limp hands and grasped them firmly.

It sucks just seeing you close your eyes like this.” Nicholas let out a long breath and then buried his face on the side of Leathina's bed and his hand still tightly grasped Leathina's cold hand. “I promise to be a good sister as long as you open your eyes. I'll let you call me Nico again so please wake up.” Nicholas murmured softly and in each of his words was filled with hope that he wanted Leathina to open her eyes again.

Faintly Nicholas heard the footsteps of someone who was walking near Leathina's room, he then immediately sat up straight back. “I'm sorry, it looks like I'll have trouble coming to visit you again as long as dad leaves I'll be replacing his position for a while so I will definitely be very busy.” Nicholas said as he toyed with Leathina's long hair.

The sound of Leathina's door creaking as Anne opened it from outside.

“I'm sorry young master, I took too long to keep you waiting.” Anne then bowed to Nicholas to apologize for his delay.

“Nothing, take good care of him.” reply Nicholas then moved from his seat and immediately walked out of Leathina's room to his father's office following Winter who had left first.

“You've finally come, Nicholas.” Winter said as she watched Nicholas enter the room and sit in her father's office chair.

“Where are you going?” Nicholas asked Winter when he saw Winter close the document he was reading and moved out of his seat.

“I'll go lead the soldiers to search for criminal Yasmine who entered the black forest” Winter replied telling Nicholas.

“Don't you just have to send soldiers there to look for him, why do you have to go personally to lead the soldiers?”

“Black forest is not an ordinary forest, it is dangerous so to prevent something bad from happening I will go and lead this search directly.”

“Alright, “soon come back here after your business is done.”

Winter just nodded in agreement with Nicholas' words and came out soon after. He walked down the corridor and did not leave immediately unless he went to Leathina's room.

“Mr Winter!” Anne cried when she saw Winter from the door slit and accidentally saw her standing in the doorway.

“I just want to see it for a while before going.” Said Winter kindly as Anne opened the door for her and allowed her to enter Leathina's room.

“Please Mr. Winter,” Anne invites Winter to come in and she herself comes out immediately to give a little time for Winter.

After Anne left her Winter immediately took a seat on Leathina's bedside, and she stared Leathina's face back after it grabbed Leathina's hand and grasped it tightly, “I'm sorry Leathina.” His murmured softly and his hand still clasped onto Leathina's hand which still felt cold.

After a while Winter finally let go of her grasp and fixed Leathina Blanket, “It's time, I should leave immediately. Quickly return Leathina.” Winter muttered softly and then left Leathina's room.

“Fed him well.” Winter tells Anne when she sees Anne standing outside Leathina's room, not wanting to disturb her.

“Good Mr.” Answer Anne politely. Winter then immediately leaves the Yarnell residence and leads the soldiers into the black forest in search of Yasmine.

After Winter left now replace Anne who immediately entered the room owned by Leathina, she saw her Miss was still not showing progress even her breath was very weak. So worried that Leathina would completely leave Anne at all times always checking Leathina's breath and pulse.

“I know!” aelfric replied, tired of waiting too long.

“We'd better leave now, Duke.” Edward nodded softly in greeting Duke Leonard's arrival.

“Wait a minute.” Duke Leonard stopped Edward who was about to resume his journey, “There is still someone else who will come.” His words told Edward to make Edward undo his intentions.

“Who will come with us?” ask Aelfric curiously.

“How is it, Duke?” edward ignored Aelfric's question.

“Still the same as before, no change.” Duke Leonard replied in a sad voice, "Oh, and who will come with us you will surely know if the man has come.” Duke Leonard again answered Aelfric's question when he saw him put on an annoyed face and looked at Edward with an angry look.

Edward was not too concerned about the behavior of Aelfric who always disliked him. Edward instead focused on waiting for the person who would come with them.
