There was a commotion outside the room, though, Aleda came looking for Edward who did not come to his room at the same time the soldier who happened to pass by on patrol found his partner who was standing guard at the door collapsed and then forced his way into Mr. Baul's room because knew there were intruders in their residence.

“It looks like outside a little messed up.” Edward murmured while looking at the door that has now been pounded from the outside by the soldiers.

“You!”

“I- yes?!” Answer Mr. Baul spontaneously.

“No one has ever come here, tell your people that you purposely locked the door from the inside, understand!”

“Ba-good.”

“If you try to chase after me then I will chase you back, and report to the kingdom that you smuggled valuables into the kingdom without paying royal tax,”

“Ekh! W-Where do you know?!”

“Indeed how else can you be rich if you do not use dirty way.”

“Are you going to report it?”

“Depending on the action you take, remember I will hunt you down if you chase me.” Threatening Edward.

“Good, well, I won't do it. But, please do not report to the kingdom!”

“Shelf!”

“Bark!”

The guards were increasingly pushing down the door from the outside.

Edward no longer rebukes Mr. Baul and jumps out the window to escape.

“Shelf!”

At the next break the door managed to open, the panicked guards immediately checked the entire room and found nothing, not a single thing, Mr. Baul also did not dare to tell for fear that the person who had threatened him would actually report it to the kingdom, if that happens he can come directly to court and will suffer more losses or worse could be jailed for smuggling goods illegally.

As the entire guard was busy combing around inside the residence to look for the intruder along with Aleda who was also busy looking for the man that Miss Aleda had brought in for suddenly disappearing, she said, Edward immediately left the residence of Mr. Baul entered the small street then removed his face cover and robe after which walked into the main road.

Edward walked hurriedly to the city gate afraid that Mr. Cade would be impatiently waiting for him.

“Ah! There is still.” Edward muttered in relief as he saw that Mr. Cade's carriage was still at the city gate and then waved at Mr. Cade who was sitting leaning against him.

“Master!” then he ran straight to the train.

“Why were you so long, I almost left you if you don't come now!” said Mr. Cade cobbled from bored waiting for Edward who was too long wandering in the city.

“Sorry! When I want to go to the city gate I get lost.” Said Edward reasoned and immediately jumped up onto the train sitting beside Mr. Cade who was now preparing to leave the city to return to the village.

“I heard earlier there really was a man who was taken by force by a rich kid in town, I thought it was you.” Said Mr. Cade jokingly.

“Ah! Hahah, of course it's not better I run.” Reply Edward joked, deliberately he did not tell Mr. Cade so that there was not much he needed to explain.

“Iya, right also if it really is you then how will the fate of your lover in the village later, hahah.”

Hearing Mr. Cade's words made Edward recall Leathina and the others in the village, his face became gloomy in case something happened to Leathina.

“How he is now must have been awake, it has been two days I left him and I can just go to the village tomorrow.” Edward's mind was worried.

“You think of your lover huh?” asked Mr. Cade when he saw Edward who was suddenly silent and turned moody like never before who kept returning his jokes. “Temple, no one will seize it in the village. If indeed he cheated his brain must be damaged, how could betray his handsome lover.”

“You're too complimentary, but unfortunately he's not my partner yet.” Said Edward slowly.

“Keep, he what are you now?”

“Only limited to friends.”

“But you like it right?” ask Mr. Cade again.

Edward did not answer he just nodded slowly.

“Ah! Kisa love young people now why is it so difficult, we used to only express love first if accepted yes married directly.”

“If it is rejected?”

“Find again lah.”

“Then can not be replaced how?”

“You should try to prepare two things.”

“What to prepare?” Edward asked curiously.

“First strengthen the heart if rejected.”

“Both?”

“Why?”

“So yes.” muttered Edward who even though Mr. Cade's speech was just a joke he felt his words had a point.

“Eat it while there is time just say your feelings as soon as before regretting.” Call Mr. Cade again.

“Iya, Definitely will I do but after gaining his trust because it seems like too many secrets he has.”

“humm, right, right, the first one you should seize is not his heart but his trust.” Mumbled Mr. Cade felt Edward's words were true.

During the long journey they took to the village again they spent sharing stories and stories with each other. Edward of course did not tell his identity he only told the story of the lives of young people in general while Mr. Cade was more often joking than talking seriously.

The full day they spent on the way when they got to the city yesterday they got to noon and by the time they returned the sun had almost sunk, Mr. Cade had been used to commuting from village to city so it was fine for him to travel instead of day. They only stopped a few times to rest if hungry and sleepy the rest of course focus back to the village.

“We will soon arrive, the village is there.” Mr. Cade tells Edward that from yesterday I can't wait to get back.

“Really?! Then I'll just get down here, Mr. Cade. Thanks for the ride.”

“Why don't you get to the village? Than to have to walk.”

“Nothing, I have other needs as well so have to get off here mr.”

“Ya, okay. But don't blame me if you later regret yes.”

“Hahaha, will not Master, anyway thanks for the ride.”

“Iya, yes, goodbye.”

Edward immediately jumped down from Mr. Cade's train and waved his hand off Mr. Cade who had now continued his journey back to the village, while Edward himself also continued on foot, making sure no one was around, he immediately put on his cover and robe to hide his identity before returning to the village.

Edward paused in front of the inn and saw all the windows and doors shut. The people who stood guard around the inn he saw before leaving were nowhere to be seen and there was no sound Edward could hear from inside the inn.

“Is there anything going on as long as I'm not around?” his murmur then once again looked at the surroundings to check on the circumstances surrounding the inn.

There is nothing strange other than the door and window of the inn that is closed tightly, the people around him continue to do activities as usual.

 “Hah! Maybe it's just my feeling”. Edward murmured to calm down then sighed. 

“Prakkkk

Just now that Edward was intending to enter came a considerable sound from within the inn, making him instantly alert and barging in.

“AAAaaa!” screeched at the innkeeper as suddenly a sword stuck to his neck.

“Bos!”

“Mr Ed!”

Troy and Adam cried simultaneously when they suddenly saw Edward who they did not realize when Edward came and knew that he had drawn his sword.

“Tu-mister, please let me go!” pinta the innkeeper begged Edward to let go.

“Duh! Almost my neck is broken.” The innkeeper muttered in relief then hurriedly climbed up from Edward.

“B-boss, nothing happened the fat guy accidentally dropped a bucket filled with water.” Adam answers Edward's question, while Troy hides behind Adam's back. ”Adam, what if Mr Ed finds out that I touched Miss Leathina and even knocked her unconscious?” whispered Troy nervously.

“You will definitely be killed on the spot.” Adam whispered to Troy.

“So I have to how?” ask Troy to panic.

“As long as you don't ask just shut up, stupid.” Adam's whisper then pushed Troy away from him.

“What's with you two as long as I'm gone?” tanya Edward saw Troy and Adam pulling each other, “What you guys turned into a couple.” He said as he passed by the two of them.

“Ahk! Of course No!” shouting Adam and Troy spontaneously then pushed each other away still after that directly followed Edward who had now gone first to the room occupied by Leathina.

“Mr Ed?!” Nina is shocked to see Edward finally returning after several days of sudden disappearance.

“Master welcome back,” welcome Nina later.

“Nina why is she still sleeping?” Edward asked worriedly seeing Leathina still asleep. “It's been more than three days, and Leathina is still asleep?”

Troy stiffened, cold sweat started pouring down his face afraid that Edward would actually kill him for daring to touch Leathina without his knowledge.

“It's strange that he should have woken up no later than two days asleep because on that day Leathina indeed never rested and was exhausted after her long journey up to the edge of the cliff, but passing from that means there is a problem with him.” Edward muttered worriedly and immediately approached Leathina who was still fast asleep. “Did anyone get hurt? Is there a possible internal wound?” Edward, increasingly worried, examined Leathina carefully.

“T-mister Edward is actually No. ..”

“You guys call the best doctor in the village!” Edward who panicked immediately ruled did not give Nina a chance to give an explanation.

“What is this?” edward's murmur found a bruise on Leathina's neck then carefully examined it.

“How can there be a bruise on his body? Has anyone attacked you as long as I'm not around?”

“Tu-mister Ed, nothing like that Miss Leathina is safe even if there is an attack.” Nina represents Troy and Edward.

“So where did this wound come from couldn't Leathina have hit herself or you guys hitting her?” Edward asked suspicious of his three subordinates.

“Ekh!” troy's strangulation slowly shrank and tried to hide behind Nina's back.

“I did make him faint by hitting him but I have made sure not to hurt him and not leave marks like this but why suddenly become bruised.” Edward muttered softly then went back to check the bruise on Leathina's neck.

“Master forgive us for actually the bruised wound that was on Miss Leathina's neck because of Troy hitting Miss Leathina, Mr. Ed.” Nina finally tells Edward the reason behind the bruise on Leathina's neck.

Troy pulls Nina off not expecting Nina to actually report it. “You must account for your mistakes.” Nina's whisper then forcibly releases Troy's hand which continues to tug her into stopping reporting her.

Edward stared intently at Troy asking for more explanation as to why he dared to touch Leathina.

Edward's gaze even more frightened Troy.

“S-I accidentally Mr. Ed, yesterday when only I was on guard suddenly Miss Leathina woke up and because of panic I even made her faint again.”

“Hah!” Edward sighed heavily, “Can-can you make a mistake like this.” He then looked at Adam. “Adam did the same with him.”  Edward had determined the punishment for Troy then asked Adam to do so.

“Good boss!” Adam answered spontaneously.

“Adam, why are you smiling?” troy asked quietly as Adam walked towards him.

“Ah, I'm sorry Troy. Unfortunately I have to do this, so don't fight.” Adam Say.

“But you like to enjoy doing it, you love hitting me right!” Troy dodges but does not dare to fight because Edward is still in front of him.

“Tak!”

“Akh! Damn you Adam.” Troy said before completely losing consciousness after being beaten by Adam.

Once a punch with full force by Adam managed to make Troy fall unconscious and lay just on the floor.

 “You seem to really enjoy your work.” Nina's whisper was upset with Adam.

“Hahah, when else can you hit that bear freely without a fight this is the most fun job I do.” Reply Adam with a smile because he was satisfied after successfully hitting Troy.

“How about his body boss?” ask Adam excited.”

“Put it in a place I can't see, for now I don't want to see it.” Edward answered then carefully laid Leathina back and made her thigh a cushion for Leathina's head.

“Have you guys treated?” ask Adam.

“Already Sir, but for today I have not had time to apply the ointment before you come.” Nina answered and then showed the new saleb medicine that she would apply but did not become due to Edward's arrival.

“Alright, get me the medicine I'll apply it.” Pinta Edward while Nina directly gave the cure to Edward.

“Then we will leave first sir, we will come back after you finish treating Miss Leathina.” Adam Say.

Edward did not reply and then fell silent focused on sharpening his hearing and continued to look towards the door of the room.

“What's the Master?” tanya Nina felt something was strange.

Edward did not convince him he only signaled to ask Nina and Adam to be quiet for a while.

“Say!” edwar said he deliberately raised his voice then pointed towards the door telling Nina and Adam.

“Someone eavesdropped on our conversation?” nina asked in a whisper then replied with a nod confirming Nina's question.

"I'll take care of Mr. Ed immediately." Adam said but was intercepted by Nina because Nina saw a signal from Edward to immediately stop Adam.

"What's wrong?" Adam asked confusedly.

"What happens when I'm not around?" Edward asked as he gestured to pretend not to know and act as usual.

Nina and Edward nodded simultaneously, according to Edward.

"Yesterday there were some people standing guard around the inn, it seems like they suspect that something is hidden in this inn because suddenly the reminder closes and does not accept the tenant anymore as long as we are the last guest to enter here" Nina began to report to Edward.

"You guys cleaned them up?" Ask Edward.

"Some of the people who tried to sneak in we cleaned up but some of the other people who didn't come in we let in." Nina spoke again to answer Edward's question.

"But suddenly Troy gets bored and hunts them down secretly Boss." Adam continued to add to Nina's report which he said was still incomplete.

"You got information?"

"Ah, about that we did not find anything. When they sneaked I immediately finished them all for fear of attacking Miss Leathina and then Troy also did not think long and immediately finished off as well." Answer Adam.

"Well!" Edward sighed, "Alright, at least you guys managed to protect Leathina as long as I'm not around, now come out."

Nina looked at Edward uncertainly as someone was eavesdropping on their conversation outside but then Edward nodded his head in a gesture that they had to come out suddenly to catch the intruder.

"Track!"

Nina and Adam understood then immediately opened the door suddenly.

"Akkkkh!!!" Strangled the boy as Adam immediately strangled him for being at the door.

"Tu-lord! I came to tell you that the bath water you asked for was ready."

"Bad?!" Adam was surprised when the person at the door turned out to be a worker who was hired by the innkeeper and immediately released his grip that strangled his neck.

"All right, you're back now." Adam immediately asked Ban to leave.

"ah! he's the kid who works here, boss." Adam told Edward who was looking at him.

"I know." Said Edward. "Observe the boy and the people who roam around here often" he added.

"Okay Sir!"

Adam and Nina answered at the same time.
