The Chapter 217

With a hasty step Adam left the innkeeper after locking it from the outside then went to the room Leathina occupied and caught up with Nina and Troy who had gone first.

“Trak!”

Adam opened the door and saw that two robed men had been tied up and were lying on the floor.

“How about the inn owner?” ask Nina after Adam comes.

Troy cut them both down until the whole face of the man he hit was no longer in shape.

Troy said he stopped beating and then retreated behind Adam while cleaning his fist which was now covered in blood.

“All right now have you changed your mind? Tell me where you guys come from?” adam asked again, repeating the same question.

“Hah! Actually I don't like violence but what can make.” Adam muttered then hinted at Troy to hit him again.

Troy happily did so he again tortured the two mercilessly.

Troy nodded in understanding then stopped and retreated.

“Now tell me where are you from if you don't want to feel pain again?” adam's asking intimidates both of them.

“You still don't want to talk?” Adam said seeing the two still survive, “Alright if you again ask to be beaten again but this time you will be beaten to death here.” Adam called Troy back.

Adam took one of them out and the other was taken by Troy, they interrogate the two separately if there are different answers then one of them must be lying or both could be lying to make them have to selectively choose the right and wrong information.

Half an hour later, Troy and Adam face Edward.

“Where are we going?” leathina asked Edward.

“We are going to the nearest city to escape first.” Answer Edward.

“You'll take me to the kingdom?” ask Leathina again.

“Depending on your father's decision, we both made a deal if Duke Leonard followed your decision and let you not return to the kingdom then I will not take you back instead I will come with you, but if Duke Leonard who has made a deal asks us to bring you back then we are forced to take you back.” Edward explained to Leathina.

Leathina was speechless no longer asking and then threw her gaze outside the carriage.

“I'm sorry Leathina, I can't break the rules I made in my organization.” Edward apologized to Leathina for feeling guilty.

“It's okay anyway it's your job not.” Leathina replied calmly even though her mind was in a mess now.

“You'll escape again?” asked Edward suspiciously who saw Leathina so calm and obedient.

“No will.” Leathina shook her head, “After all I will be caught again.” He said softly and then looked down at the tip of his foot.

Edward who saw Leathina could no longer speak he finally fell silent.

“Boomm!!”

Not long after they left the village was heard the sound of an explosion followed by a huge fire that shot up into the sky, they could still hear the cries of the villagers frantically searching for water to put out the suddenly engorged flames eating up the entire wooden building.

“The boy did his job well.” muttered Adam who saw the fire behind him then after that immediately accelerated the pace of his horse to catch Troy which he could catch a little more.

“Hei! you finished it well.” scolded Troy when he saw that Adam had been by the side of the train.

“Of course, because I'm great.” His reply was to boast of himself.

Edward then called Nina who was also riding her horse outside the carriage, Nina Langung brought her horse to the window and waited quietly for what Edward would say.

Adam also slowed down his horse race to hear what Edward was going to say.

The atmosphere suddenly became silent in the darkness of the night, only the footsteps of the horses were heard and the sound of the carriage continuing to creak as it was pulled.

“You didn't sleep?” edward asked Leathina who was still sitting firmly and did not respond to Edward's question. “You can use my shoulder as a backrest.” He again made an offer to Leathina.

Leathina looked at Edward then shook her head rejecting the offer that Edward gave her. “No need Edward, thanks. I've had too much sleep.” He then looked back out the window.

“Then Leathina can you tell me what reason you don't want to go back to the kingdom, at least so that I can understand your situation a little bit or what kind of difficulties you are going through? I will of course be happy to help you out of trouble,” asked Edward seriously who finally ventured to ask again hoping Leathina would believe it and tell him what was really going on.

“Ah! Edward, how did you know that a trip to the city would take a whole day on a horse-drawn carriage and only half-heartedly on a horse?” leathina asked suddenly.
