Leathina looked at everyone hoping someone would believe her but all of them had the same gaze. They were all the same - just staring at Leathina without any intention of defending or asking what had really happened.

"We have to do an investigation first, Mr. Duke." Winter spoke out trying to appease Duke Leonard.

"Nicholas, quickly take Nora to the royal infirmary."

Duke Leonard orders Nicholas to take the still unconscious Nora for immediate treatment while Leathina anxiously sees Nora being taken away and wishes Nora well.

"Don't pretend to care about you, bad girl!" Suddenly Janneth snapped Leathina to the attention of the people back to Leathina.

"Guard! The guard! quickly take him to jail before killing anyone else."

Two guards immediately followed Janneth's instructions.

"No one dares to touch her, this is our family business. I will punish him directly as the one responsible for the upbringing he has received." the guards stopped and returned to his place when Duke Leonard forbade him.

Leathina rebelled, nimbly taking out her long-owned sword and pointing it right at one of the guards necks who wanted to carry it.

Anne uncovers Leathina's unconscious derss and then she sees a wound on Leathina's leg that is still bleeding.
