By sneaking Leathina into sometimes a horse belonging to the Yarnell family, he had one horse that he thought was not noticed by the horse attendant and secretly took him away so that no one would become that there was one horse missing.
"It looks like you're not as well cared for as I am, we're friends now." Leathina muttered while taking out the head of the horse she was about to carry.
Leathina spurred her horse quickly and occasionally looked back in case someone followed her.
It took about twenty minutes for Leathina to get to the city centre on a horse she then took directions to a mansion she had once been to with Adam and Ed’ but had now been used as a home for children who have no place to live.
Upon reaching her destination Leathina immediately jumped down from her horse and led him and tied him to a tree in the courtyard of the mansion.
Hearing the occasional sound of a horse making a sound was heard by some children from the mansion and peeked out of the window to find out who was about to come to visit their place but no one dared to come out to welcome her because her face was covered and wearing a robe.
Seeing the expressions of the children peering at her from the window made Leathina realize that her arrival frightened them, and, Leathina immediately pulled down the cover of her face and smiled as she waved her hand towards the children she saw at her quoting window.
“NONA NOBLEMAN!” Toni and Messy cried almost simultaneously when they saw Leathina waving towards them.
“NONA RESCUER!” The other children shouted Leathina and they all ran to open the door and welcomed Leathina.
A warm embrace they used as a welcome event for the man who had saved her from slavery.
“WELCOME!” Excited all the children almost simultaneously then slightly bowed in honor of Leathina.
“Oh, Jeez kalaian need not be like that.” Leathian spoke while rubbing the heads of the children nearby.
Leathina's eyes were then fixed on a boy who looked the youngest among the other children and was only about her height, her cheeks seemed to be swaying as the boy walked trying to get close to Leathina but difficulties due to the other children hindering him.
“Let's see what the name of this lucid child is.” Leathina squatted down and carried him occasionally Leathina toyed with her pointy cheeks with her index finger made the child in her carriage smile cheerfully.
“The name is Agam, the age is only four years.” Say one of the children when telling Leathina.
“From where it came from, I didn't see it the last time I met you guys.” Tanya Leathina then went back to see the boy she was carrying.
“Madam Gisella found it on the doorstep, her parents threw it away.”
“Oh my god is so unfortunate your fate son.” Leathina anxiously rubbed Agam's head and made Agam squint one of his eyes because his hair almost hit his eyes because he pressed Leathina.
“Then we came a lot of children who entered this place they were there.” The child who answered Leathina's question pointed towards the door and the window.
There were some children peeking at Leathina from the doors and windows out of curiosity, they did not dare to approach because they had never seen Leathina before, only the children that Leathina had saved from the sale of slavery and some of the curious children who now swarmed Leathina.
“Oh yes take this.” Leathina remembered something and then took Agam down from her carriage and walked back to her horse which she had not yet left far.
Leathina took two large jars of candy that she had hung on her horse which she bought on her travels and gave it to one of the children she thought was the biggest and told her to share it with all the candy children which he brought.
“Listened many Miss.” They all simultaneously uttered the expression to Leathina.
“I'm so happy to see you all in good health, don't call me miss you can call me with sister Lea.” Leathina felt a little moved when she saw all the children liked her so much, which means Agam who now continues to stick near Leathina.
“Thanks a lot brother Lea.” The children repeated their words again.
“Welcome Miss Lea.” Welcome a middle-aged woman to Leathina and behind her are Toni and Messy.
“Oh, you must be Madam Gisella who was told the kids earlier.” Leathina replied smilingly looking at the extremely authoritative middle-aged female as she looked at it.
“Miss Betul let me introduce myself well, I am Gisella one of the housekeepers of this child.”
“Include my name Lea, nice to know you madam Gisella.”
“I've heard many stories about you Miss Lea, especially from Toni and Messy who almost every day tell about you who have saved them.”
“Ah, not Madam Gisella those kids are just exaggerating her story.”
“Please enter Miss Lea.” Children enter later you can get a fever if exposed to a lot of wind.” Madam Gisella politely asked Leathina to come in, after which she shouted to tell the children to come in as the weather started to get cold.
“I didn't realize, it turns out the day is over hopefully Anne won't come to my room to check on me.” Leathina muttered as she looked at the sky had turned a reddish color and soon turned dark.
“I came just want to see the state of madam children gisella.” Leathina then made Madam Gisella understand that Leathina wants to play with children.
“Please enter Miss Lea, I will prepare something that can warm your body.” Madam Gisella then went inside first.
“Insured Madam.” Leathina replied before madam gisella came in.
“You go inside and divide the candy into your friends.” Leathina told the children to enter first but her hand held Toni's hand standing beside her.
All the children finally came in and only told Toni and Leathina outside.
“Toni, did you find the address?” Leathina asked as she crouched down in front of Toni to match her height with Toni's.
“Yes I found it and I gave it the letter you gave me and he gave me this letter in return.” Toni spoke as she took out a sealed letter from her pants pocket and handed the letter to Leathina.
“You've worked hard Toni, thanks.” Said Leathina while giving some gold coins to Toni.
“Miss I don't need this anymore.” Toni shook her head in refusal to give Leathina a hand.
“Why? Didn't you used to love money so much?” Leathina asked puzzled because previously Toni did not want to work if she did not have a fee in return.
“That's because I used to live on the streets all the time I had to think about how my sister and I could live and buy food so I needed money to survive. But, now I no longer have the house I live in and no longer starve. That's enough for me Miss, thank you so much for helping me.” Toni then bowed ninety degrees to thank Leathina.
Leathina just poked and gently stroked Toni's head but still gave some coins that she had taken out for Toni.
“Why? I don't want to get paid I really want to work and repay your kindness to me Miss Lea.” Toni asked confused as Leathina kept giving her money.
“Looked Miss Lea.” Toni's voice trembled as it held back the cry then overlaid her face with her shoulder as there were already a few grains of clear water coming out from the corner of her eyes.
“Jesus crybaby once, hahah.” Leathina laughed when she saw Toni's face that looked adorable for trying to act like an adult but still defiant like a child.
“Come in, you'll be cold.” Leathina then entered the mansion and followed Toni who was walking beside her.
“Agam! Leathina exclaimed with anxiety when she saw Agam standing near her trying to attract Leathina.
“You have the potential to be the seducer of women with this adorable face of yours, hahah.” Leatina spoke with a laugh then raised Agam's tiny body and sat him on her lap.
“Malang once when he was a child, there was another child who fared like me because of the selfishness of his parents.”
“Please drink Miss Lea, sorry if the tea is only tea that is often drunk by ordinary people.” Madam Gisella came up with a tray containing a cup of warm tea and placed it in front of Leathina.
“It's okay Madam Gisella, and thank you. But I wonder how many children live here with you?” Leathina asked as she sipped the warm tea brought by Madam Gisella.
“There are twenty-six children miss.” Answer madam gisella while calming one of the children who was whining.
“Two pulu six children? But I I saw only 25 children, the other one where madam?”
“Oh boy, yesterday there was one girl who just arrived someone found her lying on the side of the road and brought her here. His body is covered with wounds he is in the room now, we do not know his name and where he came from because until now the child has not wanted to talk and just kept quiet since coming here.”
“Oh, gosh. I'm sorry Miss Lea I'll make another cup of tea for this boy.” Madam Gisella returned to the kitchen leaving Leathina alone to make tea for the boy who was whining at her.
“Agam?” Call Leathina and make the child in her lap look up at Leathina's face.
“I'm curious about the kid Madam Gisella talked about, do you want to show me where she is now?” Leathina whispers to Agam but Agam sees only Leathina with her two tiny eyes.
“I'm so stupid, why I asked a little boy where he might understand.”
Leathina patted her head and tried to ask the other children but Agam asked.
“You understand what I'm saying?” leathina asked Agam then replied with a nod.
“You are willing to show where the child is?” Leathina asked again and returned in reply with a nod.
Agam then showed Leathina the way and they were both in front of a room door.
Leathina opened the door slowly and saw that the girl who had hidden herself in the blanket did not want to show herself to Leathina.
“Wait here Agam.” Leathina went inside with Agam and closed the door again and told Agam to wait for her near the door.
“Miss.” Leathina's greeting was gentle but there was no answer.
“Sorry if I bother you but I came to treat you you must have suffered from pain from wounds all over your body, I will help you get rid of the pain.” Leathina spoke as she slowly pulled the blanket that covered the body of the girl in front of her.
“Oh gosh.” Leathina's cry when she sees her body.
He saw the girl was flat, white pajamas she wore a little oversize and kedodoran showed half her shoulders covered with bruises and on her calves were visible lash marks. While the child just looked down did not dare to look at Leathina's face.
“What hurts?” Tanya Leathina again then replied a soft nod.
Leathina placed her hands on the child's chest and then came out a green aura that slowly enveloped her entire body and began to heal and cover all the wounds on the girl's body that Leathina was treating.
“Is there still pain or is there still pain? What is this?” Leathina spoke while examining the child's entire body and saw a cross-shaped scar on the girl's chest but quickly pulled her shirt and covered her up.
“Ah, forgive me. If no one hurts anymore I'll leave soon.” Leathina immediately stuck her hand away from him.
“This is like a heated iron and deliberately printed on his skin as a sign of the slave of a family, cruel once.”
“Come on Agam we are back!” Bring Leathina back with Agam.
Leathina returned with Agam then in the journey she whispered to Agam asking him to keep it a secret that earlier he had healed the girl told Madam Gisella, Agam nodded and promised to keep it a secret.
“You'll be back Miss Lea?” Ask Madam Gisella who rushed out of the kitchen when she heard Leathina was coming back and saw Leathina had been in the doorway.
“Iya madam Gisella, I have to come back soon.”
“Thanks for your visit.”
When Leathina was about to leave, Agam pulled her clothes, making Leathina look down and see Glam gesturing for Leathian to bow.
“Is there something you want to tell me Agam?”
Leathina crouched down willing to hear what Agam would whisper in her ear but Agam instead gave her a kiss on Leathina's cheek after it ran and hid behind Gisella's madam.
“It looks like Agam really likes you Miss Lea.” Madam Gisella said with a laugh.
“It looks so madam Gisella, I like it too. Then I will really pegi now take care of your children and listen to what madam Gisella says don't be naughty.” Leathina advised the children before leaving them.
Leathina walked to where she kept her horse and rode it and soon encouraged her to leave the mansion which is now home to abandoned children.
Leathina must return to her home before someone realizes that she is not in her room.
