I'M THE NECROMANCER KING

I'M THE NECROMANCER KING
Chapter 109: Disappointment of Citizens

That night the group that had come from the capital had arrived inside the settlement. Witnessed by the many pairs of eyes of local residents who at that time were passing by, the train with the royal emblem walked past them. Followed by fully dressed soldiers, riding horses followed from the back of the carriage.

The residents stopped for a moment with clenched hands watching the train about to pass them. Their cynical gazes threw out and some even shouted at the arrival of the entourage in a tone of provocation.

"Look, these babies came after Miss Lily saved us. Don't they have no shame? They abandoned us before, they looked upon our disgust at the plague! Even the king had so despicablely thrown away Prince Daryl that was his own flesh-blood!"

"Isn't His Majesty outrageous? He really threw it away?" One of the other residents responded to the friend next to him.

"Yes, of course! Where have you been all this time? Ah, then let me tell you, listen to this carefully, the master who came a month ago is Prince Daryl! My brother who served in the Earl Kiril mansion has confirmed the truth. Prince Daryl was afflicted with the same disease as we were before, therefore he was exiled to this place with his servants."

"Really, I hate the upper echelon of the kingdom. These few days I even got word that Miss Lily was expelled from the capital! They were actually being rude to Miss Lily! What if at that time Miss Lily was hurt and reluctant to save us?"

"What are you talking about! Miss Lily has a heart like a Goddess! He is very wise and kind, although the upper echelons of the kingdom do not accept that Miss Lily will still save us" the resident said with a tone of rejoicing.

Back in the middle of the road, the train carrying the prince and Ingrid received a rapturous reception from the residents. In reality it was not a good welcome, but a bad welcome and a very bad one. The residents not only berated and drove away his arrival, but also threw pebbles and sand towards the carriage, until the sound of impact was heard from inside and made the prince surprised.

"Go you!"

"Fuck, I won't see you!"

"Baratajaya Destruction!"

"God!"

The deafening sound was heard alternately as a form of blasphemy from the residents. Those who had deep hatred for the royal party, vented all their irritation towards the entourage that had just arrived at that place.

"Why have they come this far?" The prince said while frowning.

He was about to open the window of the carriage to see the conditions outside. However, before that happened Ingrid immediately held the window so that it could not be opened by his master.

"Prince, didn't you hear the sound of the impact?" Ingrid asked with a lazy face. For a moment the two fell silent and tried to understand each other.

"Yes, I heard."

"Then why would the Prince still want to open it? That's very dangerous, Prince! They'll rain us with a lot of pebbles!" Ingrid replied with a slightly high tone.

"Then, do I have to stay silent when they even denounce His Majesty the King? They should get hanged for being disrespectful to the king!"

"Calm down, Prince. You really didn't notice it? This is not just about one or two people, right now all the residents of this settlement have great hatred for the kingdom in the capital! Do you think it's necessary to execute the entire population?"

"Prince, almost all royal citizens in other settlements and fortresses must also have the same protest against the kingdom, the kingdom, you know very well what the upper echelon of government has done by eliminating access to the capital. There's nothing we can do for now, Prince." Ingrid sighed as soon as he finished lecturing the master.

Prince Arslan was upset and chose to remain silent. Staring at Ingrid's serious face, he himself realized what his subordinates were saying had a point.

The carriage continued to walk and arrived at the ruling residence of the place. With rare caution Ingrid went down first while glancing around him, fearfully there were citizens who followed and had bad intentions towards them. After feeling completely safe, he allowed Prince Arslan to go down.

"Look, aren't they from the capital's royal army?" In just one look at the guard who was standing not far from the gate of the mansion immediately noticed the presence of a royal important person. They glanced at each other and confirmed the truth. Then the two walked over to greet the important figure who was about to get off the carriage.

"Greetings, has this Master made an appointment to meet Earl Kiril? If not, I'm sorry my lord can come back tomorrow. Right now Earl Kiril is in the midst of a very important guest," said one of the guards in a friendly manner.

"Please! Was it just the little nobility who dared to be rude to Prince Arslan? The prince doesn't need permission from him, if Prince Arslan forced his way in, what could you do!" Ingrid resentfully snapped at the guards, to the point that his second leg could not help but quiver.

"Ma-sorry, Prince. We have no eyes to recognize his master. Please, we will escort Prince Arslan to enter," said one of the other guards, his face was not relaxed and sweat splattered at his temple.

Fortunately, Prince Arslan did not comment much and nodded in return, making the two guards able to breathe a sigh of relief when sending the prince and the nagging demonic woman.
