I'M THE NECROMANCER KING

I'M THE NECROMANCER KING
Chapter 58: Meeting of the King and Queen of the Affiliated Kingdoms

Elsewhere, a small settlement in the imperial area of the Twin Towers. That day the troops seemed busy preparing everything for the next day. The day that the expedition team would attack the dungeon where the goblins were. The army was seen more than the first time it reached the small fortress, let alone this afternoon when a thousand troops from the affiliated kingdom of King Hansington arrived there.

As the scorching sun was at the highest level of the crowd camped outside the fortress seeing the arrival of the troops it could not help but frown. In reality King Hansington was the king of an affiliated kingdom in the Twin Towers Empire which contributed the greatest. However, once on the imperial side, the Baroque Advisor announced to the public the recruitment of a new expedition team, King Hansington chose to turn a blind eye and was impressed that it would not help.

Not without reason, King Hansington chose silence earlier that because his kingdom had just reached a peace agreement with the neighboring kingdom, belonging to King Bagar. Anyone who sees will argue that the two kingdoms will not send troops, moreover it is not an order from the emperor. After all, no one knew the peace between the two would last until when, it was only a momentary agreement. Both sides did not want to risk sending their troops out to help the expedition team. What if suddenly one of the two broke the deal and came to attack? That would be an inevitable defeat! The empire would not care just about the matter of affiliated kingdoms. However, a few days ago, the emperor had issued his decree.

The decree contained an order that was issued to all affiliated kingdoms in the imperial territory to join the dispatch of relief troops. While other orders said that the empire was in its quiet period, affiliated kingdoms were forced to stop in conflict. That made the two kingdoms belonging to King Hansington and King Bagar could only resign. Inevitably they would send an army outside, and join the same team.

"Your Majesty, King Hansington has just arrived outside the fort. Should we go to exchange greetings? The other kings had already walked towards the hall," said a man in a blue robe.

Being in a room, a man in his fifties and white bearded was looking out the window. The man was wearing full combat clothes with the best equipment. His pair of hazel eyes stared sinisterly at the horde of horsemen who had just entered from outside the gate. He clearly knew the group!

"Yes, I know." With a heavy tone he answered the call of his subordinates at the back. Then he turned around and looked at the cloaked man.

"Take me to the meeting hall," said King Bagar.

"I cannot look bad in the presence of other kings. Even though I don't like it, I don't have a choice. If they don't see me there, people will assume I'm afraid of him." In King Bagar's heart commented.

The two of them walked towards the meeting hall. Once the two arrived, they were immediately greeted with a scene of rows of kings and queens from affiliated kingdoms. The line is basically two, on the different side and it gives way in the middle that separates.

Being in the middle, an old man in a white robe with a hint of a middle blue hue saw all the kings present. After confirming all the influential figures had been present in the meeting hall, he began to speak in front.

"King Hansington, King Bagar, King Roman, King Weistmen, and Queen Snow, were also the other kings present in this hall." Baroque advisors glanced and saluted as each mentioned the names of famous kings and queens one by one, while the other little kings he only briefly circulated his gaze.

"As we know, the purpose of this meeting was also the formation of a large expedition team this time to sweep the dungeon where the goblins lived. I need to say in this meeting, the goblins that were in that place were different from the goblins that had been recorded and appeared in the dungeon elsewhere. The dwarf creature that was rumored to be one of the dungeon dwellers was stupid and weak, it was not the same as the one encountered in the dungeon in the territory of our Twin Towers Empire. It could be mentioned it became the biggest loss when the first expedition team was defeated and had to retreat with great difficulty."

"According to His Majesty, Prince Julius said that the goblins in the place were ferocious and powerful. They also have a little bit of intelligence. The goblins had formed a small defensive structure and they had a leader in the depths of the cave. The goblin leader was extremely powerful, His Highness Prince Julius was not even sure how powerful it was. Each step of his foot would send the soldiers flying and dying instantly. He was so strong among the other goblins, he also had slightly better intelligence, even though it had yet to reach his usual human standard. Therefore, I must say not to look down on them."

Baroque advisers clearly told the information to the kings and queens present. That continued until the Baroque Advisor gave the plan direction during the dungeon raid.

"Barook Counselor, I object to putting myself at the forefront. The troops I sent only numbered a thousand, what if King Bagar alone came to lead? I heard he brought in three times more troops than mine. They were all elite soldiers and renowned adventurers. Is that right, King Bagar?" Coming from the other side, a man in his forties with a full set of combat armor, commented on the intermission of the Baroque Advisor reciting the storming formation.

"You!"

"Too much!"

King Bagar who was targeted exploded in anger because of the actions of King Bagar who cornered him. How not? His squad had been set to be a midfield in formation as it carried many reliable archers. But King Hansinghton insisted on throwing him and his army in front.
