I'M THE NECROMANCER KING

I'M THE NECROMANCER KING
Chapter 4: Letter From Osaka

Everyone focused on the king. The meeting was then followed by the elaboration of a report from the building department on the restoration of buildings in the new territory of the former Norville works that had been conquered. Later, the king ordered the head of the development department to create a new building outside part of the central district.

Let's say it's a central district, while the outer district will be expanded to the former kingdom of Noville. The construction of the central district is expected to strengthen the defenses and become the first fortress to resist invasion if war breaks out.

After the development department report was completed, followed by a health department report that displayed good and constant state data on the growth and condition of the royal citizens.

Switch to the next report. The king put on a happy expression before asking.

"Alice, to what extent is Lynford's academy preparing for this year's recruitment event?" ask the king with a smile on his face.

"We prepared it very carefully. All the tests and criteria had been carefully arranged by the academy elders in order to sift through the talents and good morals of the prospective students. It was hoped that they would later be useful for the benefit of the kingdom when they were needed." Alice smiled in agreement, and the king nodded in satisfaction.

King Cornelius was always interested in talks related to the academy. He was one of the many people who dreamed of being one of the people in it. The king was anxious to be able to use spirit abilities, but it was just that it was impossible for him.

"Alice, there's something I want to ask you. Can you check-"

The words of the king came to a halt as someone suddenly came rushing into the meeting hall.

"Your Majesty! There was important news from the emissary who was at Osaka's work. Please Your Majesty forgive my disrespect by entering this meeting without permission." The newsman sweated a lot and breathed hard as a result of being stared at by the king and other officials.

"Buck! How dare you enter the meeting of the king by breaking into the guards!" said a guard who ran after the man. However, upon arriving near the crowd of officials, the guard lowered his head silently and no longer dared to step up.

"Let him come, continue," the king looked in wonder.

The man with a hint of firmness took out a letter that was rolled up with a rope. Kayle walked up to the man and picked up the letter. Then he said, "You can go now."

Kayle checked that the letter did not contain any bad mechanisms that could harm the king. And after believing the letter was normal, Kayle gave it to the king.

The king read the letter carefully. Everyone present including Kayle himself awaited the king's response to the emergency letter. Slowly the king's expression began to deteriorate as his bead pointed at the core of the letter.

"Prescue!" The king rolled back the letter and threw it aside. Regardless of the officials present, the king displayed his explosive emotions without being able to maintain the composure of a king in general.

"Your Majesty, please calm down." Kayle tried to tell him about the matter, the king had to remain calm before the officials present.

"With this meeting we conclude, for the deputation that has not yet given a report to the king, can send a written report to Felix. All can go" Kayle said.

The crowd of officials who saw the anger of the king could not help but be surprised. All this time, they had not seen the king so angry, even when fighting with the kingdom of Norville before the king seemed to enjoy it very much.

Now the meeting hall is only the king, Kayle, and Felix.

"You can go too," Kayle instructed Felix to go first and wait for news from him later.

The king gripped his tantric with an annoyed face. Kayle who saw that grew even more curious. He asked the king, "Is there anything going on in Osaka?"

"This is a blatant insult! Is he trying to tell me that my son is trash?" said the king.

"Please calm down, Your Majesty."

Kayle who heard that from the mouth of the king also felt hatred with the kingdom of Osaka. How come not? Kayle is Asta's aunt, she also loves the child very much. However, he was also an adviser to the king and he had to think rationally and still maintain his composure.

"How can I calm down! I'm his father, and how can I explain to Lilian later?"

"I know it's hard for you, Your Majesty. However, this could not be blamed entirely by them. I can deduce the news of the prince having a bad personality has spread and reached the ears of King Ragnar. Even you have punished Asta and made a rough guess to them that the prince has no position to succeed you in succeeding the throne of this kingdom."

"As much as you are angry if the prince is betrothed to the illegitimate son of the king of Osaka, how can they not? Their daughter will be betrothed to a prince who is rumored to have a myriad of vile and bad talents. Baiik-san is fine if the behavior is bad, but if the prince also does not have the potential to ascend the throne, how are they willing to continue the matchmaking?" said Kayle.

The king entered his deep mind. Now he can be calmer after listening to the words of Kayle.

"You are right, after all Ragnar was also a father of his children. But, how could he bind unilaterally without seeing firsthand what Asta really looks like. Even the meeting of the two who were betrothed only counted for a few more days."

"I will send a reply letter so that King Ragnar delays this annulment and waits until the day of the meeting. They can make decisions afterwards and we can accept whatever the decision is. What about that, Your Majesty?" said Kayle.

"Well, you can set it up." The king breathed. "About this letter a secret to everyone."

"I understand."

The meeting ended in the afternoon, the king returned to his resting place escorted by Kayle and the king's guards. On the road, when the king stopped for a moment to look at the park in the middle of the main building, a woman came up followed by others behind her.

"You came again this afternoon," said the woman with a smile on her face.

The king's guards and the woman took a few steps back to make room for the two of them to talk.

"I hope the flowers don't wither before he sees them" said the king.

The woman did not respond further, she just continued to put a faint smile on her face. Without anyone realizing it, the smile was just a fake smile and the woman hated having to do it.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty, he will only be a hindrance to me. I hope he won't wake up from sleep forever." Behind the visible smile, the woman prayed for the death of the queen.

"It's late at night, come back to rest, Juleaha." The king left the concubine without even glancing at her.

The king went with Kayle and was escorted by his guards. While the concubine named Juleaha was still flinching in her place by putting on an ugly face.

"Preset! Reus I don't want to see those flowers again tomorrow!" Juleaha sharpened his gaze towards the flowers that were blooming in the middle of the garden side and near the fountain. "Also, call Darius to my place tonight. I have an important mission for him.

"Good Mistress." On the other hand, the person named Reus who was the personal bodyguard of concubine Juleaha nodded in understanding.
