I'M THE NECROMANCER KING
Chapter 144: A Branch Head

"Report, Prince Gregor." A beautiful female expert dressed in green robes came in a hasty manner, then saluted her respects before finally continuing her words. "The defense of the midfield line has been destroyed by the enemy side, I was worried to see how the combat power of the experts on their side, in a matter of minutes it would soon arrive at this last defensive spot. Please Prince immediately take the decision to retreat with some soldiers before they come."

The Prince frowned, his gaze watching the battle that was far ahead. He really did not expect that this battle would be such a dangerous thing, he thought it would be as easy as turning a palm. He had an army that came from the alliance of the three kingdoms, and it amounted to three times that of the army that belonged to the enemy side. But unfortunately, unexpectedly only a thousand soldiers from the enemy can destroy his army of more than thirty thousand? How would he explain to the three royal families and his father later about this great loss? Anyone who heard it would definitely not believe all the prince's nonsense.

There was no way out, the prince looked back, intending to ask the mysterious expert who came with him for help. But unfortunately, as soon as he looked back, the man had disappeared without leaving a trace.

"Where did that man go? Why didn't anyone tell me!" The Prince clenched his teeth while clenching his right hand, he actually cursed the soldiers who were nearby. None of them were aware of the mysterious expert's departure, including the prince himself.

"Sorry Prince, we are certain that the white-robed master was here just a moment ago." The soldier who was on standby to protect the prince was not even aware of the expert's departure, wasn't this very strange?

Big bang sound.

"Prince Gregor, they have reached the back of our army! Please the Prince immediately give us an order." The soldier who was reporting looked towards the distance to remind the prince.

The prince reluctantly turned his horse around, then said wryly to his subordinates, "Tell me this message to all the elite soldiers and red-planned adventurers who are still holding out, we retreat!"

"Why-why...." The prince spewed out a mouthful of blood while trying to speak to his subordinate. The soldier had even just reported about the state of the battlefield to him, so why would he send such a sneak attack to his master? Could it be that the warrior had a personal grudge and took advantage of this moment of chaos to avenge him?

Just finding that the prince's conjecture had been wrong, the person before him was not a warrior he knew. A few moments later the soldier smiled, then slowly his whole body turned into the appearance of a beautiful woman. The figure was none other than Sera who came sneaking into the back row and disguised as one of the dead soldiers.

"You! Sia-w...." The prince had lost his consciousness, then fell from his fighting horse in a terrible condition.

"... I have gained the leadership of the enemy. But unfortunately, an expert from the holy temple envoy managed to escape. Right now Mikaela, Lily, and Samantha are chasing him." Sera pulled the long sword from the prince's body while sending a message to his master via telepathic connection. There was no trace of concern at all for the woman, although her position was currently surrounded by the prince's elite soldiers.

"Holy temple?"

"They are fanatical devotees of the gods whose power base is in the central continent." Sera began to explain while moving dodging and slashing one by one the soldiers who came to attack him. His attitude still maintained calmness, difficult to explain in words, his breathing was even still stable when conversing with his master.

"Then this can be discussed later after everything is done. It's fine that if the three of them manage to capture the messenger of the holy temple, I want to see what information I can get about the place from him," Mavis said, smile with satisfaction and then disconnect the two telepathically.
