Chapter 14: Becoming My Master's Eye
The beginning of the resurrection of the carcass of Darius was witnessed by many pairs of eyes. They see the process quietly and solemnly. Although there are some of them who are still dissatisfied with Mavis' decision to resurrect Darius, given the bad deeds he has done before against Mavis.
Resurrected, which means getting a second life from the awakening person. Of course it means that the master trusts his servant very much. That is what the demons mean.
Mavis doesn't know that.
He who now only knew that this was his chance to get rare materials to be able to revive him. Mavis knows Darius has a pretty strong ability. And also, he could figure out who was the mastermind who sent Darius to kill Mavis. That information he would get by himself once the man became his loyal servant.

"Rise up" said Mavis.
Mavis's hand was raised against the carcass. He slightly shook and something happened to his body, like there was energy coming out from within his body.
Mavis was sweating, and she was starting to feel unwell. But he still continues.
"Sir..." Buster sees the distressed Mavis unable not to worry.
Because Buster knew that at the time Mavis raised something, which means he will channel energy from within his body. For example, when he was resurrected, Mavis was unaware that Buster was receiving energy from his master even if it was nothing. Because he's just a weak bird. However, now that Mavis is trying to resurrect the carcass of a human, it will be another.
Mavis never gave up. Although the condition of his body was getting weaker and the challenge to raise Darius was very difficult, it actually made him excited and felt it was worth fighting for.
Before long Mavis smiled, though her face was ugly from exhaustion. The steaming smoke slowly disappeared and now the figure of the man standing before Mavis was about to bow down.
"Honor to the Lord." Without comment he directly faced Mavis.
"Stand."
Now Mavis looked at Darius and began to correct from the bottom up to his body. And he realized nothing had changed from Darius except that black smoke was seeping out from within his body. Also, the skin color of his body was darker than the original.
"Do you still have memories from your previous life?" Mavis.
"Yes, sir, I keep that memory." Darius answered with a gloomy face. "Thank you, sir, for being generous to you. Please punish this selfless servant for having ill intentions for you."
"Sir, he deserves to be punished" said Buster.
"Of course, I'm still standing here in good health anyway. And if you really want to make amends before, you just have to do something for me."
Mavis looked at Darius with a serious face.
"Master please believe, this servant will do whatever you want" said Darius.
"Good, fine. I like those who obey."
"Now, tell me who you worked with before?"
"That's a woman named Juleaha, a concubine in this place."
"So that's it."
Mavis's conjecture becomes straight after she learns all the truth. The concubine was indeed a cunning and also evil person.
"I shouldn't have let that concubine go back then" said Buster.
Mavis glanced at Buster, and he began to give a sharp look. Then he said, "You can go back into the shadows, Buster. And don't bother me while interrogating him."
Buster became clumsy and silent a thousand languages. He did not want to go back into the shadow of Mavis, because there he could not see his master and was by his side. So, he shut his mouth tightly.
"Your name will remain Darius, and I have a duty for you to remain by Juleaha's side of the concubine and act like Darius before. You will be my eyes" said Mavis.
"Sorry sir, there are some people outside who are walking towards this place." Mikaela said that after she sensed the air of the guards.
Buster, who was loosening his guard, immediately activated his ability, and then he confirmed Mikaela's words.
"Yes sir, they are the guards" said Buster.
Mavis maintained her composure.
"From now on, you can go and start doing your job."
"Good, Sir."
Darius, who had a memory of being human, understood what his master wanted. This was the first task his master had entrusted to take care of those guards.
Realizing that something was missing, Mavis hurriedly sent her a telepathic message to Darius.
"Barred to kill. And never betray me. You should know the consequences."
Darius who received the message was stunned for a moment.
"Sir, then what should I do to them, if not to kill?"
Darius was standing before the soldiers and had not said a word.
"Are you kidding me?" Mavis patted her eel and hissed furiously.
"You just have to tell the soldier that it was the killers who wanted to harm the queen before."
"I understand, Sir."
Darius also said according to instructions from Mavis. And those guards came back to report to his superiors.
Inside his room, Mavis tried to calm his mind to not think of Darius.
But, it's hard.
"He really worries me. Can he do his job properly? Really, he only has big muscles, but he doesn't have intelligence" Mavis said.
"Sorry sir" said Giraldo.
"Ah, I'm not talking about you. I mean that Darius," said Mavis awkwardly.
Instantly Ozi, Becky, and Becca laughed without being able to hold it in. While Aiko and the others managed to hold back and just laughed inwardly.
"You guys..."
Ozzi, Becky and Becca after being reprimanded by Mikaela become aware. They hurriedly remembered that they were facing their master.
"It's okay. You can relax when you're with me" said Mavis with a smile on her face.
