I'M THE NECROMANCER KING
Chapter 47: King Ragnar's Gift

Upon arriving at the site, Mavis looks around looking for where King Ragnar is. He parted ways with his father and Kayle, leading his demonic servants to move towards the Osaka people who were packing.

"Master?" A soldier from Osaka asked as he looked at Mavis who was already standing next to him. He bowed and stood up straight again, asking, "Does Master need anything?"

"I'm looking for King Ragnar, do you know where he is now?"

"Your Majesty is on his way. Ah, it's right there." The soldier in armor tilted his head to the left and saw King Ragnar coming from behind Mavis.

Immediately the prince turned his body, followed by the summoned creatures turned around and gave way so that Mavis could easily see. It was the sight of King Ragnar walking towards the prince and smiling at him.

"Asta, how are you!" The King briefly hugged Mavis and let go while chuckling.

"Okay, Your Majesty."

"Hows it? Do you like the gifts I give you?"

"Your Majesty is too much in this regard" said Mavis.

"You deserve it, Asta. However, that is nothing compared to my poor treatment of you. Don't you like it? If so, I'll find you another gift better than that."

"No, no, that's more than enough, Your Majesty. It's just that with my current abilities, I'm not sure I can take care of the place and look after it."

"You please calm down, son. The Osaka Kingdom will guarantee the protection of the place" King Ragnar said.

"Well fine then. Thank you, Your Majesty. And here I say goodbye to His Majesty. I hope we can meet again next time."

"Yes, I look forward to your visit to Osaka Kingdom. We will be happy to welcome you. Good bye." The king of Osaka patted Asta on both shoulders before turning his back and heading towards his horse.

"We're leaving." That way King Ragnar pulled the reins of his horse and left with the people from Osaka.

Mavis looked at the departure while waving her hand. "May they survive to the destination." He sincerely said that because King Ragnar had been kind to him.

Meanwhile, Princess Judh who was now inside the horse carriage quietly glanced outwards and saw the figure of Mavis with a complicated gaze. The servant girl who was accompanying the princess inside did not escape to see the action.

He commented, "Why did the Princess refuse to talk to Prince Asta before leaving earlier? If in the end the Princess herself regrets it."

"Whatchu mean? I don't understand." The princess hurriedly took her gaze outside and looked at the servant. "There's nothing more to talk about. My relationship with him is over, and we'll never see each other again."

Gisel only chuckled and replied, "Why is the Princess so sure that she will never see you again? Has the Princess not heard from you recently?"

"What news is it, say it clearly, Gisel! Don't make me curious" said Princess Judh.

"Alright, alright. It was about the recent secret news I got from the guards. His Majesty secretly gave a gift to the prince a piece of land located on the border of Osaka Kingdom with the neighboring kingdom, as compensation for the annulment of your betrothal, Princess.

"Here I argue, it seems like His Majesty still very much wishes you could marry Prince Asta. However King Ragnar had a good opinion of the prince, and he was so fond of the Prince, that he planned such a thing."

"Then, what does this have to do with me?" Princess Judh acted indifferently to the news, but her face was slightly reddened and she was misbehaved.

"You still ask, Princess? That means you still have a chance to make up with the prince!"

"Shut up, Gisel. I want to sleep, don't bother me." Soon she closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep. Gisel gave up commenting further and only shook his head when he saw the funny action.
