I'M THE NECROMANCER KING

I'M THE NECROMANCER KING
Chapter 44: It Seems Something's Wrong With Me

With the end of the Lynford Academy welcoming ceremony, people from Osaka prepared for the need to return to their kingdom. Regarding the annulment of the match, King Ragnar had compensated the loss to the Srivijaya royal family in secret. The compensation was more like a gift the king gave to the prince of Asta, a piece of village land that was in the southernmost region of the Osaka Kingdom.

Even more surprising that the land was given in the name of Prince Asta, not the Kingdom of Srivijaya, however, if others knew about this matter, it would be an uproar in itself. King Cornelius who was the only one who knew about this compensation was even shocked to the point that his heart felt like it was going to be dislodged! His hands trembled incessantly until even a few hours after King Ragnar left the chat.

"What did the boy do that Ragnar liked him so much?" King Cornelius entered his deep thought. On any view from any side it is a miracle King Ragnar compensated simply for the annulment.

The one being talked about is Ragnar! The fifth-level affiliated king of Osaka, if he wanted to he could have annulled this matchmaking with his power, he said, and King Cornelius, who was only from a kingdom that had even recently risen to the third level, had no power to protest against it. However, generously King Ragnar compensated? And that he gave in the name of his son, Prince Asta?

The more thought makes himself dizzy and deadlocked. The most curious person, Kayle, stayed awake beside the king and guessed what her brother-in-law was thinking. He had asked what had happened between him and the King of Osaka, because after the two kings had a private conversation, King Cornelius began to act strangely afterwards. But King Cornelius was silent and did not answer his question, making Kayle even more suspicious that something was being kept secret.

"Kayle, I want to see Asta, take me to his place." Suddenly King Cornelius spoke after a moment of silence in his own mind.

"Sorry Your Majesty?" Kayle, who had given up trying to figure out what the king was thinking, started to get sleepy, and was obviously surprised when the king suddenly said something strange.

"Your Majesty, it's too late for a visit, and again it's possible that Asta has fallen asleep."

"Ah." King Cornelius only realized that it was time for a night break. He wondered how long had he been contemplating in his mind?

"Then take me to see him tomorrow, now I will go to rest" said King Cornelius.

"Okay, Your Majesty." The two went to the king's residence with the guards.

The next day, at the residence of Prince Asta Dixon.

After washing her face and wiping with a dry cloth, Asta walked towards the balcony of her room. As the balcony of his room led directly to the garden, as soon as Mavis set foot out, he was immediately greeted with a cool air in the morning. It's rare that Mavis can feel an uncontaminated breeze in her old life, but she's so happy to feel it here. Also, a peaceful feeling he always felt when he saw the trees and flower plants growing in the garden.

"That's..."

He saw Sasha with the other servant friends taking care of the grass cheerfully. They mowed the grass every day and the racks rarely saw Mavis.

"That stupid girl, what did she think of me when I wasn't here? After hearing Sera's explanation earlier, however, it seems that she and her brother suspected something about Sera's strange behavior while disguising themselves as me." Mavis pondered while refuting her head with her hands.

For a while she remained in her position following the movements of Sasha wherever the girl went. Caring for the grass, watering the flower plants, cleaning up the fallen leaves, everything he did Mavis saw. And he smiled unconsciously and so enjoyed.

"Something's wrong with me..."

After Sasha and the other servants finished their work, Mavis stepped back in. He tidied himself up and started calling the summoned creatures. As soon as he instructed in telepathy, all instantly emerged from the black smoke and took the shape of their respective bodies.

"My master..."

"You guys seem to be in spirit once today? Did something happen to you guys in there without me knowing?" mavis said, she replied with a smile.

"No sir, we're just happy to see you again" Mikaela said.

"Yes, you always say things that make me ashamed." Mavis chuckled and rejoiced.

"Today I will go to take the departure of King Ragnar and his entourage. After that let's talk about our next itinerary."

"Understand."

"Master, I can't wait to teach those lowly demons some manners!" The star propped her hands around her waist, while putting on a serious expression.

"Calm down, we don't know the real situation there either" Mavis said.

As they nodded in agreement with his master, one of the visionary Busters commented, "Master, two servants who frequent my Master are on their way here."

"Marrie and Sasha?"

"Then I have something else to take care of, I want Becky and Becca with Moon to go see Earl Edward who is settling in the capital. Give him a warning not to interfere in my affairs, or his life as a bet," Mavis said seriously on his face.

"You can go."

The Moon and the twins disappeared into a pile of black smoke. They move on order. Mavis wants to solve everything that is still stuck before leaving, afraid that trivial problems like this will enlarge without her being able to control.

"Sorry sir, if only I wasn't careless then."

"Forget it, after all you did it too."

The incident took place at Uncle Hammer Bar during a showdown with a member of a foreign adventurer. Mavis herself did not actually remember exactly what happened back then, she was not even aware of the details.

Mikaela who at that time was given an order by Mavis to give a lesson to the adventurers, unknowingly opened up a bit of her identity.

He removed his black hood and revealed his true appearance, so that the little horn on his head was exposed. To ordinary people might not notice that and focus more on Mikaela's dazzling face. If they saw it they should not know what the horn was, but who would have thought there was an expert in the crowd of adventurers and recognized it.

The expert was a minister to the Earl named Edward. Known from the information Becky and Becca got, Earl Edward was a noble who owned a small territory in the eastern part of the kingdom. It just so happened that he was currently conducting a transaction with the nobles in the city to sell medicines.

Mavis herself was quite shocked at first, how only a drug dealer like her learned about a mythical creature like a demon that even today's people consider to be wiped out.
