I'M THE NECROMANCER KING

I'M THE NECROMANCER KING
Chapter 6: The Mysterious Book

"Look! What's in there!" Mavis's two beads glowed when she saw a shop selling strange-shaped market food. "Is that delicious?"

"Prince, you've eaten too much already" Sasha said in half a whisper.

"I can still!"

"But..."

Sasha could only follow the prince who was crazy to eat it trying every market snack they encountered. The servant just did not think where all the food that went into the prince's stomach? He had eaten this morning and had eaten more or less five snacks before, and now added again?

Sasha had an idea. "Prince, there's a good place I want to show you. Does the Prince want to see it?"

"What's that place?" While chewing the grilled squid, Mavis looked at him.

"That's a special market that only sells rare items and few people know the place."

"If only a few people know, then why do you know?" Mavis was not interested and continued walking after finishing one grilled squid, then her eyes shone again looking at the food in the next store. "Sasha, pay the squid and follow me there!" The Prince pointed to a tavern that peddled food like round bread.

"Eh? Wait..." Sasha paid two bronze coins to the tavern owner. Then he ran to catch up with the Prince.

Upon arrival at the tavern Mavis began to eat the honey loaf she had taken and sat slowly inside the tavern. However, in the midst of her cool self chewing and permeating the delicious taste that melted in her mouth, she began to piqued with the noise of the tent stall next to her. Unknowingly he eavesdropped on his conversation.

"Son, this one book costs 5 bronze coins."

"Only a dilapidated book like this did you sell for five bronze coins? Hey Grandma, you want to rob me? Five bronze coins if I want, I can get five steamed buns from another tavern! I'll only give you at least two coins!"

"No young man, I can't sell it for two coins. Five coins and no less." The voice of a grandmother with several times was heard in Mavis' ears, as well as the grandmother was like she was huddled several times.

"Ah, dammit! What a engineering book is this! Just a one-story book alone cost 5 bronze coins! The book is like a ruined book! Even a first-rate book is free if you go in and take a look at my academic library!" said the man with a frown on the face.

"Then you study at your academy. Why do we have to hang out with this grandma if we can't afford it?"

"Who is it!" The man dressed in a disciple was furious hearing a voice from the direction of the tavern beside him.

"Just a wanderer." Mavis walked slowly out, then approached the antique seller's grandmother's stall. "Go if you don't intend to buy."

On the other side Sasha who was approaching towards the stall Mavis had previously seen a swarm of people forming a circular pattern. Sasha's feelings began to be uncomfortable.

"Yes God! What is Pang-" Sasha doing is shaking as Mavis starts to sharpen her eyes towards him. "I mean, hey, man, what are you doing in this place" he continued awkwardly.

Mavis picked up the old book that the academy student had not bought before, and then asked the seller's grandmother how much it cost.

"How much is this book worth? I'll buy it." Mavis smiles.

"The price of this book is five bronze coins, no less and no more." The grandmother revealed the price of the book kindly.

"Sasha, give this money to Grandma. Then we go."

"But Pa... I mean friend, five bronzes for this book, isn't it too expensive?"

"Of that, just pay. This grandmother also needed to eat," Inner Mavis while trying to glare at Sasha in order to understand her point again.

"Alright, fine." So Sasha handed over five bronze coins to the old grandmother.

"Thank you." After Mavis had finished buying the book and was about to leave, the academy-clad student who had previously blocked the path of Mavis.

"Fuck up! Who said you could leave! Give me back the book!"

"Huh? What's wrong with him? Did something fall on his head to amnesia?" Mavis.

The amnesia? Sasha and the others did not understand what Mavis was talking about. Sasha even interprets amnesia itself as a crude swearing.

"Yes! You're Amnesia! How dare you say that to my friend!" Sasha walks in front of Mavis and tries to protect her.

"Surge you fucking woman! He stole the book I wanted to buy! Give it back or you'll be sorry!"

"stealing? Obviously I bought it and you can't even afford it. Everyone present had eyes." Mavis smiled elegantly.

"Well, if you insist on not giving me the book, I will tell you who this great man is" the man said.

Mavis just kept waiting. While Sasha, he is forced to retreat by the hand of Mavis.

"My name is James Babarge, a student from the outer court of Lynford academy," said the man with a loud voice, his chest puffed up, his smile mocking towards Mavis. "Hows it? If you bow down and beg for forgiveness, I'll be concerned to forgive you!"

"What! Lynford Academy?" Mavis surprised.

The man smiled more satisfied and thought Mavis was afraid to want to pee in his pants. However, it is a big mistake for the man to think that Mavis is someone who can be easily oppressed.

"Lynford Academy, you can see it on a map with a red dot. The academy was one of the important places in the royal capital and the leader of the academy was extremely strong, even able to enter the tiger-level denguon!" Sasha half whispered from behind Mavis.

So anyway.

Mavis understood the meaning of the man named James. In the world where Mavis lived before, the face of such a man was numerous. The faces of people who like to carry the status of family or people behind it as a shield to act arbitrarily. Mavis is fed up with such people, let alone the rich who oppress the poor.

"Sir, give your orders and I'll behead that lowly human!" Suddenly Buster's voice rang out in Mavis' head.

"No, stay put" Mavis said in her mind.

The man frowned slightly at Mavis and Sasha who were not prostrating to beg for mercy. He was impatient and interrupted "Why are you silent? Are you so afraid that you can't speak?" He laughed out loud to harass Mavis.

"Fearful? Why should I be afraid of you? Is it only outer court disciples to be feared?" mavis said with a smile on her face.

"Damn it! A man who does not know his master! You guys, die!" The man slowly awakened a wave of brownish-colored spririt aura. Then he started darting and sent a leg kick into Mavis' stomach.

"Sep over my body first! Before touching my friend!"

Mavis was the one who was most shocked. That voice was the voice of his servant, Sasha. The boy also cultivated his own spirit power and spirit was superior to the man's spirit, a water-type spirit.

"First floor spell, protective dome!" Sasha casts a protection magic, and a water circle begins to be seen coming out from underground. The water barrier formed a dome around Mavis and herself.

The man's kick was successfully blocked by Sasha's water protector. The man bounced back and took a balanced position.

"Sasha, I didn't expect you to cultivate spirit energy!" Mavis grew curious and felt that she did not know this servant at all.

"Did the prince not know? All the royal servants cultivate their own spirit power," Sasha said.
