LAZARUS REGULUS
Chapters 2. Determining Purpose.
Sham tries to control which energy. Initially Syam had difficulty controlling mana energy, but because of his memory he was little by little able to control mana energy.
Syam felt a stream of energy moving from every tissue of his body. Heading towards the heart and then flowing all over his body back. Syam could feel the mana flow following his vascular network, but what distinguished the rest of the energy was suddenly stored in his heart and formed a Circle.
mana is energy that comes from nature, used by all races on Planet Antares. Every race and every person has their own way of using mana.
"What is this called mana?" Sham murmuring.
Sham extended his palm, then drained the mana into his palm. Mana particles begin to gather then fuse and form ice crystals.
'Since when did Lazarus have ice attribute magic?' inner Sham.
Syam remembers Lazarus can only use mana without attributes. Lazarus relied solely on his regenerating ability, instinct and immunity to poison while fighting. His enemies called him a shield of flesh.
Sham focused his consciousness towards his heart, he saw a faint, crystal-blue shining star near his heart.
Sham widened his eyes in surprise. Lazarus is a Knight, not a witch. But from when Lazarus became a wizard.
"Are you kidding? I created the character Lazarus ... I didn't know Lazarus had this kind of talent." Sham murmuring.
Syam knows best about Lazarus, not just his background and condition. Syam knew Lazarus better than himself.
Lazarus had a 6-star Job Knight on par with an Epic Rank, but with a Circle at his heart meant that he was now a 1-star Mage as well.
The difference between Knights and Magicians in controlling mana energy was very different. The knight keeps mana from every part of his body. The mana energy stored would slowly be formed into Aura and could be used by a Knight, Assassins, Warrior and other melee combat Jobs.
Witches keep their mana in the Circle near its heart. Likewise with the priest job, Black Mage, Red Mage and Necromancer.
Knights can use Aura to strengthen their bodies, 2-star Knights can cut wood easily and 3-star Knights can coat their weapons with Aura and cut steel easily. They would sometimes get Element attributes upon reaching 4-star. But a genius can use Elements even when they are 2-star. For example Altair Lion Heart he can use the fire element mana when 2 stars for contracting the Fire Spirit King Salamander.
Magicians can use magic with different Elements only by using catalysts such as spells, artifacts and sacrifices. However, most of them only focused on training the magic of one Element which was the highest Affinity. For example, Iris Lion Heart, the wife of Lazarus, can only use light magic because she is a Saint.
Sham walked back and forth around Melanthios' nest, he lowered his head down while thinking about what was happening. Sham does not remember Lazarus having the talent of being a Mage, he only created Lazarus as a persistent shield of naive flesh.
"This world is different from the novels I made...There are so many mysteries I don't know...Whether it's about the Dragon's egg or about Lazarus." Sham shook his head.
Lazarus has the same talent as Altair and Iris. Even Lazarus had a rare Ice Element Affinity in the Western Continent. Lazarus without magic and fighting skills was already a troublesome opponent. If Lazarus used magic and fighting skills he would be the same figure as the 77 Stars.
The 77 stars are the 77 strongest humans on Planet Antares, they have already reached Legendary Rank. Even Hector The Nine Head Lion Knight was rumored to be already a Myth Rank.
In addition to 77 stars. Planet Antares also has 223 Beasts, 67 High Elves, 73 Elder Dwarves, 72 Demons, 67 Beast Knights, 7 True Vampires and 66 Travelers.
Syam bit his lower lip, he regretted making Lazarus into a trash character. Characters like Lazarus can be found anywhere on Planet Antares.
"I'll pay for my regrets. Not as Sham Cornelius but as Lazarus Regulus!" Sham determined and accepted his situation, he knew that there was no point in regret.
Sham on earth has no one whom he longs for. He was just an orphaned man who lived alone in a cheap rented apartment.
Crutches! Crutches! Crutches!
"Is there food in the forest?" Lazarus looked towards the two Dragon eggs. "No...No.. I won't think about it even if I die of hunger!" Lazarus shook his head.
Lazarus then took the bronze spear from Melanthios' hoard and went out of the cave.
Outside the cave the day was already night, the sounds of insects and poisonous Demon Beasts started to sound. Poisonous plants emit colorful light, on top of which perch various types of poisonous insects. A moment later Lazarus saw a small bright purple centipede, carefully catching it. Lazarus in his novel has immune skills against various types of toxins.
Lazarus ate the purple centipede, as he chewed it, an unpleasant bitter taste ran through his mouth to his esophagus.
Uhuk! Uhuk! Uhuk!
Lazarus coughed due to the unpleasant taste of the poisonous insect. Although he was immune to poison but taste was a different thing.
"Did Lazarus eat these disgusting insects like eating a snack?" lazarus.
Having no other choice, Lazarus caught and ate all the poisonous insects. He was very sorry to make his background into a very poor person.
When Lazarus was full, he returned to Melanthios' nest. He did not dare to go too far from Melanthios nest, as he had not been able to use his strength perfectly.
Lazarus fell asleep while hugging the two Dragon eggs, he flowed pure mana non Element into the two dragon eggs. Although, the Black Dragon egg did not need to be flowed mana but Lazarus did not want to be one-sided. He hoped that these two Dragon eggs would hatch healthily.
While sleeping Lazarus had a dream, he was in a snowy forest. Lazarus widened his eyes in amazement at the beauty he saw.
"Hello." Someone greeted Lazarus from behind.
Lazarus looked back then he saw a handsome man, long black hair and blue eyes. With a friendly smile accompanied by an appearance that was very identical to her.
Lazarus Aka Sham rubbed his eyes. "Are you Lazarus?" Lazarus Aka Sham asked as he looked at Lazarus face blankly.
Lazarus shook his head. "I am you, and you are me. We are the same people." Lazarus smiled kindly as he stepped towards Lazarus aka Sham.
Lazarus Aka Sham was awakened from his shock. "Lazarus, are you still alive? Who sent my soul into this world?" Lazarus Aka Sham asked.
Lazarus looked towards Sham and replied, "You must finish the story you made, Now you are me as long as you are alive I will live. It's time, remember be careful with Aaron and Vincent. Someday we'll meet again." Lazarus smiled then waved his hand.
"Wait du-" Before Lazarus Aka Sham finished his sentence his consciousness began to disappear.
Lazarus Aka Sham awoke from his sleep, Sweat was pouring from his forehead and face, his encounter with Lazarus was like a reality, he still remembered what Lazarus had said.
"Viscount Vincent Burton was one of the causes of Lazarus' death... But what does Lazarus' death have to do with Count Aaron Green?" Lazarus murmuring.
There was a great conspiracy in the death of Lazarus. Lazarus Aka Sham only remembers about the death of Lazarus planned by Viscount Vincent Burton.
"I must become stronger to avenge them. I have to be strong to exceed 77 stars. I will make the name Lazarus Regulus famous all over the world and become an invincible Knight." Lazarus muttered with determination.
Suddenly Lazarus felt a movement from his embrace. He did not expect that it was time for a little dragon to open its eyes.
