Chaptre 90. Trouble
The One-Horned Green Lion flock went towards the Emerald and the Lazarus group in total was 17. 3 were male One-Horned Green Lion Beasts, 12 Female Beast One-Horned Green Lion and 5 One-Horned Green Lion babies consisting of 2 males and 3 females.
"Urs, why could Emerald be the Alpa Beast One-Horned Green Lion? The Beast Green Lion species should have a lower bloodline than the One-Horned Green Lion. They, too, can only reach the Demon Beast realm, but Emerald can break through the Grand Demon Beast realm?" Alf asked.
"Emerald is the Variant Green Lion. I guess he originally lived alone and found a small herd of One-Horned Green Lion Beasts, then defeated the previous Alpa and became a new Alpa. Lynelle, do you want to contract the many swarms of One-Horned Green Lion Beasts? Because I'm just gonna sign Emerald." Lazarus asked.
"My "Slot Beast is already full and I can only contract ice element Beasts. I don't think I can contract this Beast One-Horned Green Lion either." Lynelle says.
"Miss Cordelia, Alf, Ren. You can choose the Beast One-Horned Green Lion you like." Lazarus.
Cordelia, Ren and Alf were embarrassed to make a contract with the Green Lion One-Horned Beast herd first because they had done nothing in the hunt.
"But..."
"Miss Cordelia, if you don't want to make a contract, then I will leave the Green Lion Beast One-Horned herd here." Lazarus says.
Cordelia, go towards the biggest male Beast One-Horned Green Lion, then touch his head. He, trying to make a contract for a moment then a contract is formed.
"I will give you the name Mufasa." Cordelia says.
"Mr Urs, can you choose me one Beast One-Horned Lion for the contract?" Eleanor asked.
Lazarus used his Eye Of Divine Master Skill towards the swarm of One-Horned Beast Green Lion. He, then glanced towards one of the male One-Horned Green Lion babies.
Type: Variant One-Horned Green Lion.
Rank: War Beast —> Epic Beast.
Lazarus took the baby Beast One-Horned Green Lion from his mother, then gave it to Eleanor. Eleanor makes a contract with the male Beast One-Horned Green Lion. The first contract failed.
"What's going on! where mine drained quickly! Different when making a contract with snow!" Eleanor exclaims.
"Beast Ice Lion as an adult can break through the Grand Demon Beast realm. They, were Beasts that were on par with the One-Horned Green Lion. Why, Miss Eleanor was unable to contract the baby Beast One-Horned Green Lion which was the equivalent of the Ice Lion, unless that baby Beast was a Variant!" Cordelia exclaims.
Contracting an Epic Beast rank used a considerable amount of mana energy. Likewise, when Lazarus contracted Ignis the first time he was in the Master realm and almost all of his mana energy was exhausted. Unlike Eleanor who was still in the Elite realm.
"Eleanor, can you be patient and wait until you break through the Epic realm?" Charlotte says.
If one fails to contract the Beast a contract 3 times 1 Slot Beast that Beast Master contract will be destroyed. Although Eleanor had 12 Beast Slots contracted, but every Beast slot for the Beast Master was extremely valuable.
"No! I'll try again! I will definitely be able to sign Little Green.."
Eleanor tried to re-contract the One-Horned Green Lion baby Beast. He used up all the energy he had. The contract finally worked. However, Eleanor fell to the ground due to running out of a lot of mana. Lazarus immediately gave the Mana Potion to Eleanor.
"Did I succeed?" Eleanor asked.
"You did it." Lazarus answered.
Alf contracted 1 male One-Horned Green Lion Beast, 5 female One-Horned Green Lion Beasts and 1 male One Horned Green Lion baby. While Ren contracted 1 male Beast One-Horned Green Lion, 4 male Beast One Horned Green Lion, and 3 remaining Beast One-Horned Green Lion babies.
It turns out that Alf and Ren have 2 Jobs, namely Job Archer and Beast Master. They, have already reached the realm of Experts.
"Thank you, Mr. Urs." Cordelia, Alf and Ren thanked him.
"Alf, Ren do you want to set up a Beast breeding and maintenance center?" Lazarus asked.
"Yes.we have the ambition to create a breeding and maintenance place for Beast. We are very happy to have contracted the One-Horned Green Lion Beast which is one of the Emerald Forest Beast rulers." Ren and Alf answered.
"Are you going to continue the hunt?"
"Mr Urs, we will continue the hunt because Miss Cordelia still has to contract 3 Beasts." Ren and Alf answered.
"Master, the group of people along with their contracted Beast is closing in on us." Asterion said using a soul contract.
"Urs, a lot of people are coming towards us! Do I have to kill them?" Sebastian smiled broadly.
"No.. I don't think they're aiming to attack us." Lazarus answered.
In the distance, many people were seen riding various types of Beasts approaching the Lazarus group. They were a group of Beast Masters who were hunting and searching for contracted Beasts in the Emerald Forest.
Those Beast Masters stopped when they saw Lazarus group along with the swarm of young high Rank contracted Beasts.
"Yeahatt.."
A gray-haired middle-aged man descended from the back of an Epic Beast Green Forest Griffin. The Lazarus group had met the Green Forest Griffin Beast and the Beast Master while outside the Emerald Forest.
"Master and Miss, we did not come here to do evil...Is, you Mr Urs? Mr. Iefan has already told me many things about you. Introduce my name, Frank... I received news from the adventurers that they were attacked by a Beast and came here to hunt down and capture the Beast." Frank glanced at Fenris who was beside Sirius. "Miss, did you just make a contract with that Legendary Beast Ice Fenrir?"
"I've been Lynelle's Beast Contract five months." Fenris answered.
"We got 7 reports from adventurers. First the merchant group was attacked by a Green Lion Demon Beast that was twice the size of an ordinary Green Lion Demon Beast."
Everyone stared at the Emerald beside Lazarus. They had already thought that Emerald was the culprit because there was no other Green Lion Variant Demon Beast in the Emerald Forest other than Emerald.
"But from the report there were no casualties. However, the bodyguards were severely injured and lost the 3 Green Bull Demon Beasts pulling the carriage." Frank continued.
Everyone stared towards the flock of One-Horned Green Lion. It's already season for the One-Horned Green Lion eggs to hatch. Emerald must have hunted the Beast that pulled the carriage to feed the babies of the Beast One-Horned Green Lion.
"Mr Frank, I just signed this Beast. I'll recoup all losses incurred by the traders." Lazarus says.
"Urs, why did Emerald plunder the merchants? Wasn't the habitat of the Grand Demon Beast One-Horned Green Lion and Green Lion deep in the forest?" Iris asked.
"Haha. The reason the One-Horned Green Lion Beasts were hunting Beasts in the middle and outer Forest was only two. They either lack food or they are afraid of something. We have to remove the reason for the lack of food because there are so many low rank Beasts even in the outer part of the Forest and the reason is that they are afraid of something ." Sebastian laughing.

Emerald pointed towards Fenris.
"Beast Green Lion Variant is so smart!" All the Beast Masters exclaimed as they looked at Lazarus with envy.
"Fenris...no! emerald Intent.a young Legendary Beast Ice Fenrir attacked my lair."
Emerald tried to replicate what happened.
"I fought with that Legendary Beast Ice Fenrir and lost, then my group led me towards the riverbank. But on the riverbank was a Black-colored Great Bird that was even stronger than the Legendary Beast Ice Fenrir there I lost half my group. Me and my group went to the rocky mountainous region, but there was a Red-furred Griffin. I knew he was as strong as a black bird, then we fled towards the large cave.. There we were attacked by two purple lions.. I can defeat one lion, but I cannot defeat another.. Me and my group finally left that big cave." Emerald let out a sad expression.
"Fuck! You just ran away! You are very strong.." Golden Fang swore.
"Aummmm.."
"When I met you I wanted to escape with my group. However, we are already surrounded so I cannot escape and fight you desperately." Golden Fang translated.
A Beast Master wrote the story of Emerald.
"Me and my group, then went to the lake region in the middle of the forest. We met with another group of Beasts whose territory was captured. An Epic Beast Normal Griffin that I met at the lake told me that he was a contract Beast of a human. His master was killed by a three-headed white Snake while searching for the humans that disappeared in the depths of the Emerald Forest. And advised me not to kill people because if I kill people there will be many other humans who will try to kill me."

"Mr Frank, do you know him?" Lazarus asked.

Emerald pointed towards Kyle, then at Asterion's side.
"Night my group and I rest.. A black-haired leopard, attacking the Beast herd that was resting. I, Griffin and my group fled to the middle of the forest. Griffin was seriously injured, me and my group hid the injured Griffin in the cave not far from here... as a group hope I hunt for the injured Beast Griffin and order the rest of the group to protect the baby Beast. I also found a good fruit smelling fragrant in the depths of the forest, but guarded by a large green bird."
"Goldie, repeat once more!" Iris exclaims.

Emerald and his group guided everyone towards the cave where the Griffin's normal Beast was recuperating.

At Roy's feet is tied to something. It turned out that at Troy's feet were bound a letter of report about the depths of the Emerald Forest.
"Tell everyone who is in the Emerald Forest to get out of the Emerald Forest as soon as possible! Now the Emerald Forest becomes the SS Rank danger zone!"
"As your orders, sir!" All the Beast Masters replied.
"Sir Frank, what's the letter?" Amaryllis asked.
Mr. Frank, give the letter to Amaryllis.
"Charlotte, accompany me to the Royal Palace of Symphonia!" Amaryllis shouted, then gave the letter to Iris.
"If left alone the Emerald Forest, it will be like the King Forest!" Iris says.
"I learned that someone had deliberately planted those Herbs to provoke the presence of a young Legendary Beast.. However, I am very happy that I will soon be signing many young high-ranked Beasts who are in the Emerald Forest." Lazarus smiled softly.

"Urs, did you forget about how frightening the Beast Waves were like the one that happened in the Pendragon region?" Carissa asked.
"Fuck! Saint Iris and Miss Carissa I just noticed.. Is this the Demon? Or someone who has a grudge against the Kingdom of Symphonia?"
Cordelia involuntarily bit her lips.
