Chapter 52's. Carissa Arrives in Regulus Region.
*Gate the Dimension Headquarters of the Mage Association of the Lion Heart Empire branch.
The headquarters of the Lion Heart Empire mage association looked extremely crowded like always. The Mages passed by to sell various types of books containing magic skills, Herbs, Artifacts, and Potions.
A beautiful woman with long brown hair, with an amber iris and an incision scar in her right eye was flushing flowers in the garden of the Witch Association Headquarters.
"Head branch!" A witch shouted.
"Rosa, what's wrong?"
"Gate the shining dimension!"
"We should go there soon." The branch head immediately ran with Rosa towards the dimensional Gate.
All the witches were already gathered in front of the huge golden shining gate. That gate was a Dimensional Legendary Gate Rank Artifact. The artifacts were only in the Magic Tower and the headquarters of the magicians association in each Kingdom. It takes less than 3 minutes to travel using a dimensional Gate to another dimensional Gate.
"Who's the important person using the dimensional Gate? Is it the Nobles of the Arsenic Kingdom, the Avalon Empire or the Albion Empire?" Someone asked.
"I thought the Magic Tower Chief was using that dimensional Gate. Although, they were a King or Emperor they would not pay 10 million Gold Coins for a single trip from the Kingdom to another kingdom unless it was an emergency. They, would prefer to use the travel services of the Aquila Travel Guild." Someone answered.
Everyone looked towards the dimensional Gate. They were wondering who would come out of that dimensional Gate. In fact, many people who bet because of a very rare event saw someone using a dimensional Gate. They, want to know who is using the dimensional Gate.
A moment later three extremely beautiful white-haired women came out from the dimensional Gate. All the men there were fascinated by the beauty of the three women.
"Aunt Carissa, we've gone through 10 dimensional gates to get here. You shouldn't have wasted your money." Lynelle says.
"I agree with Lynelle. Although, you only paid 1 million Gold Coins for each trip. However, 10 million Gold Coins was a huge sum to travel." Eira added.
The head of the Lion Heart Empire branch mage association welcomed Carissa's group. The face of the witch association's head was radiant.
"Fuckin' Carissa!" The head of the branch shouted as he ran towards Carissa.
"Delia?" Carissa glanced towards the branch head.
Delia hugged Carissa like an old friend she hadn't seen in a long time.
"Carissa, I miss you, it's been 30 years that I haven't heard from you."
"Delia, I miss you too, how's Ray doing?"
"Ray is now Duke Zander of the Kingdom of Pendragon. Are these two beautiful girls Princess Eira and Princess Lynelle?"
"Greetings Mrs Delia."
"Mr Princess just call me Delia. Do I look very old?" Delia smiled.
Eira and Amarilis shivered at Delia's smile. They were, like seeing the frightening aura from Delia's smile.
"Greetings Delia."
"Sufuku. Very nice girl! You two are gonna be Chloe's best friends."
"Delia, do you mean Miss Chloe Zander is your daughter? I really like the book he wrote! Especially about the lonely Gold Dragon story." Lynelle held Delia's hand.
"My daughter Chloe is a great woman. She was married three months ago to the first prince Aland Pendragon." Delia smiled proudly. "Carissa, what are you doing in Lion Heart Empire?"
"Delia, I want to hold Iris accountable!"
"Carissa, isn't your affair with Iris over? You and Alyssa promised not to bother Iris again after she married Lazarus and the Party disbanded?" Delia asked.
"Did Carissa want to avenge Lazarus' death? However, when that was why he would fight with Iris 30 years ago." Delia's inner.
"Delia, I just want to ask Iris for an explanation about the death of a Prince of the Boreas Empire."
"What do you mean?" Delia had a serious expression.
"I've guessed Lazarus has the element where the ice is pure. However, I did not know that he had any ties to the Boreas Empire until his grandson Blossom contracted the Ice Glacies Element Spirit King. I must not allow Blossom to be taken by the Boreas Empire! "Currently, is everyone in the party except the fool able to guess the contents of my mind? Carissa, I'll come with you to Regulus County. I don't want the people to suffer because of the fight between you two."
Lynelle took out a Legendary Beast Ice Phoenix from the Beast Storage Pouch Artifact. A bird-type Beast with extremely beautiful feathers was white with a blue gradation, a neck slightly longer than an eagle, and, the wide wings and the most striking was an extremely beautiful long tail strand, emerging from the Beast Lynelle Storage Pouch.
Everyone was fascinated with the Legendary Beast Ice Phoenix measuring 14 meters long and the wingspan 18 meters before them.
"Lynelle, thank you for getting me out, the storage room is too small." The Ice Phoenix brought its head closer to Lynelle.
"Peach, calm down when you get to Regulus region you can fly and hunt ice element Beasts. It just so happens that Regulus's territory is snowy." Lynelle rubbed Peach's head.
"A-what, your niece is a Beast Master who contracted the Legendary Beast Ice Phoenix?" Delia asked stammeringly.
Legendary Beast Ice Phoenix was one of the High-ranked Heavy type Beast birds that had attributes where the ice and wind elements were. They, have the equivalent power of Dragon in adulthood. In fact, Ice Phoenix was even rarer than Fire Phoenix.
Everyone stared at that Legendary Ice Phoenix with eyes of admiration and some looked at it with eyes of greed. The mana core and body parts of the Legendary Beast Ice Phoenix were extremely valuable, even a drop of its blood could be used as a Unique Rank Mana Potion.
Clarissa, gave off an aura of Legendary realm. "If you want to become an enemy of the Boreas Empire. Then don't act stupid!" Clarissa yelling.
Hearing the name of the Boreas Empire everyone who was staring at Peach and Lynelle with greedy eyes undoed their intentions. The Boreas Empire was one of the 4 strongest Empires, being an enemy of the Boreas Empire was equal to death. It was only fitting that Lynelle took out the Ice Phoenix fearlessly because the one standing behind her was the Boreas Empire.
Carissa and the others climbed on Peach's back, then went to the Regulus region.

*Regulus Area.
Iris was waiting for the arrival of Alastair and Winter to hear the news about Melanthios, it had been a week Winter and Alastair had gone to the Eternal Poison Forest. Although, only Winter entered the Forest, but Iris was still worried about Alastair.
"Saint! Duke Alastair's forces are already outside the gates of the Capital!" Richard reported.
"Thank you Knight Richard, let's welcome their arrival."
Iris and Cassandra immediately went to the west gate of the capital Regulus to welcome Alastair and the others. He was so happy to see Lazarus again though, just a skeleton. Iris had tears for 30 years, but she still missed Lazarus.
Iris arrived at the western gate of the Capital Regulus, she saw Alastair and his army together with the Snow Wolf Beastmen. Behind him was Winter and the 20 Ice Bear Beasts were pulling the skeleton of a Dragon using a rope made from the roots of trees and vines. It was accompanied by Duke Leandro's army led by Marquis Edgard.
Iris immediately approached Alastair and Winter.
"Alastair and Mr Winter did you find Lazarus' body?"
Alastair did not answer.
"Man, when I got to Melanthios' lair I only found Melanthios' skeleton, but I didn't find Lazarus' body."
Iris knelt to the ground. The glimmer of hope in Iris' heart was gone. He thought Lazarus had become ashes because of the black flames of Melanthios. However, Iris little heart tried to deny it.
"Saint, stand up, may Lazarus be quiet in the garden of Eden." Duke Edgar approached Iris and helped her to stand up.
"Human, I'm not done talking."
"Mr Winter, you told me that you did not find father's body..What have you seen inside the Eternal Poison Forest?" Alastair stared at Winter intently.
"Man, I didn't say it because you looked so messed up at the time!"
"Winter, what do you see?" Iris asked.
"Man, I smell Lazarus and two Dragons, different types in Melanthios' nest."
"Wait on! What do you mean you're alive?" Alastair asked.
"Man, don't you trust me? Snakes smell using their tongues, and snakes smell very sensitive especially smell the smells they are familiar with." Winter stuck out her two-pronged tongue.
"Winter, are you serious? However, it has been 30 years since Lazarus fought Melanthios."
"Man, am I stupid? I went there and defeated an impure Legendary Green Dragon, which evolved from the Forest Wyvern for eating the core of Melanthios. Although his intelligence is lacking. However, he was a loyal follower of Melanthios and he told her what happened."
"What did the Green Dragon say?" Iris yells.
"The Green Dragon saw a human, along with two Dragons in Melanthios' nest. One of the Dragons was very similar to Melanthios, but having a male gender she was sure that the two Dragons were the children of Melanthios. He watched and protected them secretly from the powerful Beasts in the depths of the forest who sensed the auras of those two Dragons. He also always gave the Black Dragon the Beast core secretly. Black Dragon is very handsome—"
"Human, I need a two-day struggle to translate that Green Dragon story! The Green Dragon said that the human and the Dragon had already gone out of the forest and he was very lonely because the Black Dragon was also gone."
"What, that Green Dragon story can be trusted?" Marquis Edgar asked.

Iris, crying when she heard Winter's story. If Lazarus was still alive why did he not return to the Lion Heart Empire. Did Lazarus not miss his family? Or does he have another reason.
Winter looked up at the sky. He felt an aura that was almost as strong as him heading this way.

An enormous spear made of ice shot out rapidly towards Iris who was crying.
"Giant Light Shield!"
Iris used her Skill a shield as large as the spear held the spear.
Iris bounced back, but Marquis Edgar immediately caught her.
"Thank you Mr. Edgar."
"The troops are ready to fight!" Alastair gave the order.
"The attack was an attack of the level of the Legendary realm. Who would dare to attack the Regulus Region? Is it one of the four dukes? However, there were no Legendary ice realm Element mages in the Lion Heart Empire." Inner Alastair.

"Sad. Man, I'm not the protector of Regulus. All this is your business. Then, finish your own business. Lazarus, always solve all problems with his own strength."
Alastair gritted his teeth. Although, people say he's more talented than his father. However, why could he not be compared to his father. His father was an orphan who earned the title of Duke. His name was known throughout the Continent. But why is he always in the shadow of his father.
"I am the son of Regulus. I need to get stronger! In order not to defile my father's name!" inner Alastair.
Winter watched Alastair. "Lazarus you have an interesting son! The fruit will not fall far from the tree. However, he has his flaws he is not stupid like you. If that's you surely you didn't think twice and directly charged towards them." Inner Winter.
"Iris, you're getting weaker." Carissa and the others came down from Peach's back.
"Walisa? Delia?" Iris says.
"Iris hasn't seen each other in a long time.." Delia smiled.
"What do you want to do here?" Alastair shouted while strengthening his aura.
"Iris, is he your son? He looks a lot like Lazarus." Carissa glanced at Duke Edgar who was holding Iris' hand with a sarcastic smile.
"Alastair is calm Carissa and Delia is my friend and your father, she won't hurt the people of Regulus." Iris said as she walked towards Carissa and Delia.
"Carissa I need an explanation of all this."
"Fufufu, Saint should have asked for an explanation. We haven't met for 30 years. Are you aware of your mistake and Altair. Is the Legendary Beast beside you your guardian Beast?'
"Human, I don't want to interfere in your affairs." Winter went towards Peach and Delia. "Just calm down little bird, I won't eat you for now. Delia, haven't seen each other in a long time."
"Winter, how are you here? Is that the Dragon skeleton?"
"I have a business with the Nobles of Regulus."
Lynelle saw Winter with sparkling eyes. Eira is always on the lookout for Winter.
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect Lazarus." Iris clenched her hands.
"Lazarus was the Prince of Boreas. He was my lost cousin. I forgive you because you were pregnant. However, why didn't Altair ban Lazarus while going to challenge Melanthios?"
"I don't know it."
"Iris, are you and Altair just using Lazarus? I've been suspicious about Lazarus' unnatural death. Iris now as the representative of the Boreas Empire I want to ask for an explanation."
"What do you mean?"
"When, the Lion Heart Empire gave no explanation. Then we will fight! Although, behind you is the Zephyra and Light Empire. The Boreas Empire will not retreat!"
"Carissa, don't cross your line!" Iris strengthened her aura.
"Iris, I'm not afraid of you!" Carissa strengthened her aura.
"The Land of Earth."
A giant hand made of earth appeared, grasping the bodies of Iris and Cassandra. "Calm down you two. Do you want to get all the innocent people involved?" Delia says.
Iris and Carissa nodded, then went to a wider area to fight. Winter, Delia, Alastair, Edgar, Eira and Lynelle follow the two of them.
"Blizzard Domains."
"Light Domain."
Iris and Carissa instantly used her strongest skill. They, will fight it out.
"Delia, are you going to separate them?"
"Winter, I'm afraid they'll fight it out until one of them dies. I need your help!"
"All right, I'll help you."
Alastair glanced at Winter in disdain. Winter has never mentioned Iris and herself. However, he called Delia by her name.
"Human, I only admit someone worthy of recognition."
"Eight Light Ring's. The Eight Wings Of Light. Armor Of Light."
Iris took out her skill eight rings made of light magic surrounding Iris, her body was coated in light armor-shaped magic and on her back were eight wings made of light magic. Iris was like an angel wrapped in light.
"One Hundred Ice Knight. Blizzard Wings's. Snow Queen Dress."
Carissa formed 100 Warriors who had different weapons from ice magic. Her body was coated by a gown-shaped armor made from ice magic. And on his back was a pair of bird wings made of ice magic.
"Carissa, you've been wearing Epic Rank armor, but still coated it with ice attribute magic."
"Just like you!"
The ice knight charged towards Iris. 8 Iris's Light rings spread out, then shot out a laser-like light towards the Ice Knights. However, Carissa's shattered ice Knight continued to regenerate.
"For a moment they've been using Rank A and S skills." Delia says.
"Aibi's Skill One Thausand Army will continue to regenerate until Bibi runs out of mana." Eira says.
"Initially, Carissa could only control 10 Knights, but now she was already able to control 100. Iris also originally had only six wings and seven rings now she has 8 wings and 8 rings. However, they still had not taken out their trump card." Delia.

"Iris, Carissa stop!" Emperor Altair shouted with an echoing voice. The fight stopped .
