Chaptre 44. The Ancient Azure Scales White Snake Winter.
A Legendary Beast Ancient Azure Scales White Snake slept coiled in its dark and cold nest. The 27-meter-long beautiful white-colored ice snake stared blankly at the outside of its nest.
"That man, hasn't been here in a long time. Is he dead? There's no way he's dead! He promised me he'd beat me up, then make me his best friend." - Winter.
Winter remembers his memories with Lazarus. At first he was distracted when Lazarus first challenged him. However, over time the many battles between the two of them the lonely Winter slowly felt the warmth of friendship.
"Did that man give up on making a pact for me to protect his territory? The great God of Jormungand! What am I supposed to do?" inner Winter.
Winter thought of something. Lazarus challenged him once every three months and he also brought him various liquor and good food. Winter's ice-cold heart slowly melts due to the kindness of Lazarus. However, it has now been 30 years that Lazarus has not visited Winter to challenge him.
"That guy is so stupid! I'm afraid he's been framed by someone. I have to meet him in his territory, but everyone will be afraid if I go there. Transformation magic! I haven't learned transformation magic! I have to go home to the Clan to take the Herbal Transformation Fruit. However, when I get home they won't let me go again." Winter said.
"I must go down the mountain and go to his territory!" Winter mutters.
Winter swerved out of her nest. With cold eyes he looked at the surroundings. All the Beasts who were there bowing their heads to Winter they all dared not to Winter because Winter was their Alpa.
"Yeah, Kyaaat, Kyaaaat!"
An Epic Beast Ancient Frost Sky Eagle, flew over Winter.
"White Frost, what are you doing here?"
"Master, are you out to lead the Beast Waves to destroy the human realm?" White Frost asked.
"I just want to visit someone on human territory."
"Master, may I come? Although, I'm not very strong, but I can help you a little to point the way to human territory."
Winter has lived in his territory for a long time. He did not know the way to go to Regulus territory with White Frost guiding him to go to Regulus easily.
"Alright, I'll accept your offer and White Frost. Did all the Beasts in the White Tiger Forest, Arsen Mountains and White Snake Forest not attack the human territory?" Winter stared intently at White Frost.
White Frost felt an intimidating aura from Winter. The extremely sinister aura resulted in all of the feathers on White Frost's body standing up. He's like he's met with an incarnation of a predator that can kill him easily. If, he's lying. Then, he'll die.
Beasts that had a low realm were partially hiding due to feeling the aura from Winter.
"As your orders. We don't attack humans unless they enter our territory." White Frost replied.
"Well, if the humans invade the Beast's territory you must kill him!" Winter exclaims.
White Frost breathed a sigh of relief. "Master, I'll guide you. The journey to human territory is only an hour by flying."
"Do you underestimate my speed?"
"No sir, I'm just estimating the range."
"Alright, I happen to have not exercised in a long time. White Frost is flying at full speed I will catch up with you."
White Frost took a swing to fly, then he shot into space and flew at full speed away into human territory. While Winter squirms moving like the letter S avoiding the trees that are there. Winter is even faster than White Frost.
"As expected of the Master. I mustn't let her down." White Frost's inner self added more speed.
An hour later. White Frost and Winter reached the North gate of Duke Regulus.
The gatekeepers of Regulus saw White Frost flying from a distance.
"An Epic Beast Ancient Frost Eagle is flying towards us! Call all the guards ready for battle! Ring the alarm bells! Call Commander Richard immediately!" A guard gave the order.
The Guards rang the warning bell, then Commander Richard an Expert realm Swordman along with seventy troops who possessed the master realm immediately went to his position.
"Master, those humans seem to want to attack? Do we have to slaughter them?" White Frost stared intently at the Regulus guards. As an eagle-type beast White Frost had sharp eyes that could see from a great distance.
"No! We can't attack them!" Winter yells.
Winter and White Frost are closing in on the Northern gate of Regulus. Now the Guard lurking over the walls of Regulus can see Winter clearly, a snake-type Beast of nearly 30 meters long that has a beautiful white color and blue gradation. The bluish-white scales were extremely beautiful when reflecting the sunlight. The sapphire blue eyes and enormous size made him certain that the Legendary Beast was Winter.
"Way, why are you sweating and your body shaking?" Commander Richard asked.
"Winter! My master saw the Legendary Beast Winter!"
All of the guards turned pale and desperate upon hearing the name Legendary Beast Winter. Richard immediately ran towards the Way and looked through the crystal-shaped magic artifact. He saw Winter and White Frost moving towards the North gate very quickly.
"The brave knights of Regulus! Get ready to fight to protect everyone!" Richard yelling.
"For the Regulus Region!" The desperate soldiers were excited again. If, that Beast is Winter, everyone here would be dead. However, it is their duty to protect the territory of Regulus. Their Knight souls are smoldering and ready to die.
"Ways, go to the Castle and tell Duke Alastair and Lady Iris that Winter attacked!"
"Ready, Commander Richard!" Ways ran towards his horse, with all his might then spurred on his horse.
"Hahaha, Your Highness Lazarus. We'll both meet again." Commander Richard's mind.
Winter and White Frost arrive at the North Gate. The guards and Commander Richard had already activated the Rank Unique defensive Artifacts to cover the entire White Lion Castle City. Then the guards and soldiers prepared weapons for a desperate battle.
"Man, who's your leader?" Winter shouted loudly using common language.
"I am the leader." Commander Richard replied.
"Open gate! I'm not here to fight!"
"No, we can't open the gate! You will definitely kill all the citizens!"
All the soldiers shouted.
Winter took out the ice element skill and aura of the Legendary realm to intimidate everyone. "If I aim for slaughter. I will instantly destroy you and kill all the citizens. Quickly open the gate!" Winter attacked the city's protective barrier.
"Track! Tracks!"
The barrier begins to crack as a result of Winter's weak attack. All the soldiers kept watching Winter with burning eyes ready to die.
"Commander Give orders to attack!" The soldiers shouted.
"Wait on! Winter is about to attack the city. He will definitely lead the Beast Waves and will not attack alone." Inner Commander Richard.
"Open the Gate!" Commander Richard shouted.
All the guards and soldiers were confused by Commander Richard's orders. When the city gates open, Winter will definitely kill everyone.
"Hurry up, open the gate!" Commander Richard emphasized.
All the soldiers obeyed Commander Richard's orders and opened the gates. The gates and walls of White Lion Castle City were unable to withstand Winter he would definitely be able to destroy it easily.
"White Frost, get on my back!" Winter says.
White Frost, finally coming to Winter's back.
"Kyaat, is this Mr. Winter's back. I like it so much." White Frost Inner.
Winter entered White Lion Castle City. Commander Richard's closing in on Winter. "What do you want Beast?"
White Frost wanted to tear the human apart, seeing Commander Richard looking at Winter with a condescending look. But Winter stops White Frost from attacking him.
"Take me to Duke Regulus' House."
Winter ordered White Frost to bring Richard to his back before he answered.
The Duke Regulus's. Alastair, Iris, and all the Knights of Regulus are preparing for battle with Winter due to the Ways report. They had already contacted all the leaders in the Regulus region who possessed the Epic realm and had also informed Emperor Altair and Duke Adrian Leandro with Sound transmission Artifacts.
"Your Majesty has prepared 50,000 Regulus soldiers. The other soldiers will come within 4 hours." One of the Knights of Regulus said.
"Okay, we're gonna fight!" Alastair shouted there was no sense of naivety in his view. Since returning from Briton City he had already started training to break through the realm. Extremely extreme exercise that is unacceptable to human common sense.
"Alastair, I'll protect you." Iris says.

Alastair, Iris and the Knights who possessed the realm of Expert and Epic immediately went towards the warning light beacon at full speed.
"I just want to see your leader. I'm not gonna kill you!" Winter shouted very loudly amplified by his aura resulting in his voice sounding very far away.
Alastair who had arrived at the gates of the Capital. Carrying the large, red Claymore Sword and wearing black armor approached towards Winter.
"My name is Duke Alastair Regulus! I am the ruler of Regulus!" Alastair yells.
Winter glanced at Alastair. The man in front of him had a face similar to Lazarus, but he had a different aura to Lazarus. In fact, Winter sensed the fluctuations of mana fire element from Alastair.
"You are not the ruler. My friend Lazarus is the ruler of Regulus. Who're you?" Winter asked with a slightly trembling voice.
"Mr Winter, I am the eldest son of Duke Lazarus."
"Mr Winter, are you here looking for Lazarus?" Iris came towards Winter. Iris knew Mr. Winter didn't give off a murderous aura, when Winter came here to kill the many victims.
Iris told Winter everything.
At first Winter is very calm, but while listening to Iris' story Winter's expression slowly begins to change.
"The fool challenged Melanthios without telling me! Death was not enough for him. He died without saying anything. Until this king has to go down the mountain to find out."
"Mr Winter, my husband is always talking about you, that he will defeat you and bring him to Regulus. As a friend and protector of Regulus."
"The fool is very weak, but very persistent."
"Master Winter, do you want to accept my challenge! I'll keep my father's promise."
"Young man, you are very weak. In fact, White Frost is stronger than you." Winter looked at Alastair with a look of disdain.
"Hahaha, am I weak! I'm even stronger than my father." Alastair strengthened his aura.
Winter looked at him calmly, then used an Intimidation Skill. Alastair sensed that he was in the mouth of an enormous snake. He's gonna die.
Iris immediately helped Alastair by using the Lion Heart Rank A Skill. Skills that strengthen one's mental.
"Alastair, for now you cannot defeat, Mr. Winter." Iris says.
Alastair gritted his teeth. He did not believe that he could be intimidated by the Winter Skill.
"Hahaha, pretty young man. Your talent is ten times stronger than Lazarus. However, your courage and perseverance are far inferior to him." Winter laughed a little. He did not expect Alastair to still be able to stand up after receiving his Rank A bullying skill.
"Mr Winter, will I be able to challenge you again?" Alastair asked.
"I'll fight you in three years. You should be able to cheer me up." Winter answered. "White Frost, you will be my messenger."
"All right, Mr. Winter."
"The Epic Beast spoke." Whisper everyone.
"White Frost has a Legendary Beast Ice Roc bloodline. He would evolve into an Ice Roc and he was also the second strongest Beast in the Snowy Region." Winter says.
Everyone looked towards White Frost. Indeed from his appearance he was bigger than an Ordinary Epic Beast Ancient Frost Eagle.
"Sir Winter, what are you going to do next?" Iris asked.
"I'm going to the Eternal Poison Forest to look for Lazarus' corpse. If Melanthios were alive I'd kill her." Winter gave off a dense killing aura then left the Regulus Region.
"Goddess of Electra Light. Whether in the next life, I will be reunited with my love Lazarus." - Iris.
