Chaptre 395. The Storm Dragon Ray.
The Duchess Elliot.
A long bronze brown-haired woman, one Amber-colored eye, one leg, one hand and a scar on her neck sat by the window.
Delia Elliot is Duchess Anya Elliot's daughter and Green Tower Leader Iefan. Every night he regretted all his bad deeds, remembering his betrayal to his best friends Lazarus and Iris.
Her Duchess had already tried to treat Delia's wounds in all sorts of ways, but all of those ways ended up failing. Delia could only move her right hand.
"Ray, did you see me in the Garden of Eden?" inner Delia.
A dark purple scaly young Storm Dragon and green eyes flew towards Elliot Castle. That Storm Dragon was Ray, the God of Life Gail gave him the chance to be reborn as a Dragon with his memories.
Ray only remembered about his past life when he broke through the Epic Beast a week ago. He recalled his death while dueling with Empress Lilith, his wife Delia, his best friend Lazarus and his daughter Chloe.
"Delia, I want to meet you for the first time. Although we can no longer be together," Ray's inner.
Ray flicked his bat wings, he saw Zander's territory can already be inhabited. Although now the region is only grown by many grasses, wild plants and in the habitation of many low rank Beasts.
Ray saw the Kingdom of Pendragon from above the clouds, he did not want to attract the attention of the inhabitants of the Kingdom of Pendragon if it flew low.
Ray reached Elliot's territory and saw a blue castle with a very high tower. The big window in the tower was still open, he saw a light inside the window and a long bronze-brown haired woman was sitting by the window.
Ray's pupils widened, his emotions jumbled when he saw Delia. She loves Delia very much, even though she has a different kind now. But his feelings for Delia remained the same, Ray flicked his wings and flew quickly to the tower.
Delia felt the wind blow violently against her hair. He saw the black silhouette of a Beast flying towards him.
"Dragon," the inner Delia who remained seated quietly in her position without flinching.
Ray entered that window, he then looked towards Delia. Her body trembled as she watched Delia lose one eye, one leg and one hand. It even had a deep scar on his neck.
"Delia?" Ray asked.
Delia did not answer Ray's question because she could not speak. Delia simply stared blankly at that Storm Dragon with a soulless blank look.
"Has Lazarus sent this Storm Dragon to kill me?" inner Delia.
Ray walked calmly towards Delia.
Delia closed her eyes resignedly to accept death, but Ray brought her head closer to Delia's head.
"Lia, what happened to you?" Ray asked.
Delia slowly opened her eyes upon hearing Lia's name as only Ray called her by the name of Lia as a symbol of affection.
"Ay–"
A Legendary Beast Vulcano Horned Tiger suddenly entered and pounced on Ray. Delia fell to the floor in surprise because of Lava's sudden appearance into her room.
"Dass, Storm Dragon dared to want to kill my daughter!" Iefan shouted and entered with Duchess Anya Elliot.
Iefan immediately ran towards Delia and brought her beside the Duchess Anya. While Ray can only surrender under the claws of Lava.
"Delia, are you okay?" The Duchess asked.
"Yes!" Delia sobbed, she extended her right hand towards Ray.
"Lava, release the young Storm Dragon." Iefan says.
Lava releases Ray, but she does not let go of her sharp gaze towards Ray.
Anya's Duchess stared intently at Ray preparing to use her Skill to kill Ray.
"What happened to Delia!" Ray yells.
"Storm Dragon, who told you to attack my daughter Delia?" Mr. Iefan asked.
"Yes!" Delia sobbed and thrashed in Mr. Iefan's arms, she muttered Ay's name.
"Father-in-Law, you definitely won't believe that I am Ray Zander." Ray said with a slight growl.
"Ray was dead at the Battle of the Kingdom of Pendragon. Young Storm Dragon you deserve to die for claiming to be my son-in-law Ray." Iefan stared intently at Ray and prepared to give Lava the order to kill Ray.
"Father-in-law, Life God Gail and the Neutral God Dragon Fafnir gave me a second life to be reborn as the Storm Dragon. I swear, I'm Ray Zander the lord of the land of Zander and Delia's husband." Ray replied.
"Storm Dragon, someone who is dead will not be able to come back to life! Are you the contract Beast that Delia's enemies sent to kill him? What was the mistake that my daughter made, until they were still not satisfied to see my daughter have a worse life than death?" Duchess Anya shed her tears.
"Lava, kill that Storm Dragon!"
"Yes!" Delia yelling.
Lava pounced on Ray ferociously. His sharp claws tore through Ray's scales and flesh, then he bit Ray's neck. However, Ray suddenly bites Lava's neck and throws her out the window.
"Frost!"
Anya Duchess used her ice element magic skill and Ray's body started to freeze.
"I was Ray Zander who made 12 erotic books under the pen name Armstrong, my father's name was Duke Ferdinand Zander..." Ray said everything he knew even about the events in the Golden Phoenix Forest.
"Rooooar!" Lava returns from outside the window and pounces Ray to the ground, he cannot tolerate Ray's humiliation.
Lava released Ray and looked at him sharply, but a look of dissatisfaction in the look in his eyes.
"Father-in-Law, Mother-in-Law, I swear I'm Ray Zander the ruler of the Zander region, husband of Delia Elliot and father of Chloe Zander." Ray replied.
"I don't believe him! Tell me something that only Ray and I know!" Iefan yells.
"Father-in-Law, you took 90 million gold Coins in the Elliot region storage warehouse to gamble. You came to me to borrow money to replace it because Mother-in-law would kill you if you found out. You told me that you'd make me Beast's food, if I betrayed Delia. Chloe was given the name Mother-in-law and she was born in the spring. My mother Aisyah died when I was 15 and she was the one who betrothed me to Delia. My father Ferdinand was your best friend and he died while intercepting the waves of the Beast Forest King." Ray told me everything he knew.
"Enough!" Iefan told Ray to stop.
"I don't believe him, but only Ray knows all that." Her Duchess widened her eyes, her emotions becoming chaotic unable to accept reality.
"Mother-in-Law, you almost killed me when you found out I was the author of the forbidden book you read." Ray says.
"Ray!" Iefan and Duchess Anya run towards Ray.
"Lava, I often feed you with meat and herbs that I find while adventuring. I thought we were best friends, but you almost killed me a second time." Ray says.
"Are you really Young Master Ray?" Lava asked.
"I've said many times I'm Ray!" Ray yells.
Delia hugged Ray tightly with one hand. He did not believe that Ray was reborn into a Storm Dragon Beast, but nothing was impossible according to the will of the Gods.
"Who would dare to make Delia like this?" Ray asked.
"We don't know yet who made Delia like this and Delia doesn't want to write down who attacked her to the point of disability." Iefan replied with glazed eyes.
Delia pulled her father's shirt and pointed towards her bed. He has written down who made him like this and all the sins he has committed.
Delia deeply regretted it because she became someone very evil. She betrays her friends and best friends even indirectly she becomes involved in the war of the Kingdom of Pendragon and the death of her husband.
Ray, Duchess Anya and Iefan read Delia's diary, they had mixed expressions while reading it. The crime that Delia had committed was great and sufficient for her to be put to death.
"Delia, I didn't know you were such an evil woman." Ray stared intently at Delia.
Delia lowered her head.
"But, after all, you are my wife and a woman I love very much. Feng Xueyin and Ainsley Aquila were the culprits who made Delia like this." Ray says.
"So, quickly gather Elliot's troops and I will ask Miss Roseanne and the Magic Tower for help to attack the Aquila Travel Guild. I want to find out why Ainsley Aquila did this cruel thing." Iefan says.
"Plac!"
Duchess Anya slaps Mr. Iefan hard in the face.
"Iefan, calm yourself!" Anya yells.
Iefan let out a long sigh, he knew that the war between the two Great Powers of the Western Continent of Zephyra would cause destruction.
"I'm sorry."
"Delia, did you frame Grand Duke Lazarus Regulus?" Duchess Anya asked in a trembling voice while pointing at Delia.
Delia just kept quiet, then nodded.
Duchess Anya suddenly slaps Delia, but Ray immediately blocks Anya's slap using her face.
"Mother-in-Law, calm down every problem has a way out. Even though Delia had made a terrible mistake to Lazarus." Ray says.
"Ray, you don't understand what has happened after the War of the Kingdom of Pendragon. My daughter, did I teach you to do many evil things?" Duchess Anya shed tears.
"It's huge, when Urs and Regulus' family learned Delia was behind the tragedy 40 years ago. I don't imagine what's going to happen next." Lord Iefan's body trembled.
"Is Urs Lazarus?" Ray asked.
"Urs is Lazarus and he's alive. Wait for Aaron to disappear during the Great Power Alliance Meeting, Vincent's body is found on top of the Light Dragon Mogni statue and the day after Delia is attacked. The culprits were Ainsley, Feng Xueyin and their fiancee Lazarus back then, then they cancelled the marriage contract and disappeared." Iefan.
"Iefan, you mean Lazarus is behind all this?" Her Duchess widened her eyes, Iefan had intelligence that was at another level and nearly 80% of her judgments were always correct.
"Lazarus, it's not that kind of person." Ray says.
Delia picked up the book, then Duchess Anya gave him a pen. Delia wrote something in the book.
"Lazarus and Carissa already knew I was involved in Vincent's plan. Lazarus and Sebastian were the ones who killed Aaron and Vincent, while Ainsley and Feng Xueyin were my comrades. They were assigned to kill Lazarus, but they betrayed Lazarus by falling in love with him. They attacked me before Lazarus came to kill me. I've accepted my destiny because all this is my fault, I deserve to die a hundred times and be immortal at the bottom of the Abyss. I actually wanted to apologize to Lazarus, then kill myself. However, Carissa told me to stay alive in suffering for the redemption of all my sins."
"Haha. I'm going crazy!" Iefan laughed out loud.
His senses could not accept what happened today, Ray's appearance in the form of a Dragon and Delia's confession was like a dream.
"Iefan, what should we do? Do we have to avenge Delia?" The Duchess asked.
"Well, our daughter is the source of all problems. If we seek revenge, we will only destroy ourselves. We cannot be silent because one day this matter will be spread against our own. The Golden Dawn organization had many members moving in the shadows and they had all the information about Delia's sin. The Golden Dawn Organization has at least the equivalent of 12 Great Powers of Planet Antares." Iefan says.
"I think there are only two ways to solve this problem, first sentence Delia to death and second solve Delia's problem by apologizing to Lazarus, Cyrille and Alden." Ray says.
Duchess Anya nodded.
