LAZARUS REGULUS
Chapters 3. The Red Dragon Ignis.
The Crimson-red Dragon Egg shone brightly. Lazarus felt the temperature of the Dragon egg getting hotter, he then placed the egg near the lava lake.
The Dragon Egg then absorbed a lot of energy where the fire element came from the lava lake. The rays from the Dragon egg slowly dimmed. And back to the original situation.
The eggshell of the Dragon slowly cracked. The head of the little baby Dragon slowly came out from the egg shell. The baby dragon had the color Crimson red scales with a pair of tiny horns.
"Ignis Argus Arun Lycus Red Dragon"
The baby Dragon mentioned his real name in the ancient language of the Dragon. The Dragon's real name can only be known by his own family. Name given directly by the world.
The baby dragon was trying to get out of the egg shell. With a little struggle the Baby Dragon made it out of its egg shell. Then he started licking the transparent viscous liquid from his legs and tail, with his narrow and rough tongue. After that the baby Dragon eats the rest of the eggshell.
Lazarus just stood frozen looking at it all and watched the baby Dragon blankly, he seemed to have lost his soul.
"This Red Dragon baby has a name with 6 syllables." Lazarus murmuring.
Legend has it that the more syllables there are in the original name of a Dragon-type Beast, the stronger the Dragon becomes. Normal and impure dragons only had 3-4 syllables and Ancient Dragons like Melanthios had 5 syllables. While the Dragon that has 6 syllables in its name can potentially become a Dragon King.
Dragon King has the power to break through the Saint Beast realm, they are a king of their kind.
After eating the baby Red Dragon, he turned to Lazarus. It has crimson red scales with a pair of horns and small wings. It was the size of a teenage guard dog.
The Red Dragon baby slowly walked towards Lazarus, while he was near Lazarus feet, he rubbed his head slowly while groaning softly.
Rooars
The red eyes of the Red Dragon baby Ruby looked towards Lazarus, like they were looking at their parents. The Red Dragon baby thinks Lazarus is like his parents.
Lazarus knelt down, then rubbed the head and body of the baby dragon. Very warm rough scales were felt in the hands of Lazarus. The Red Dragon baby was comfortable with Lazarus' touch.
"Maybe, it's fate that we both meet here. I'll call you Ignis you're now both a friend and a part of my family." Lazarus forced his smile.
Lazarus learns that if the existence of Ignis is known by others, or high Rank Beasts especially the Legendary Beast type Red Dragon. Then he will become the enemy of everyone and the Beast on Planet Antares.
The Dragon Beast was one of the nobles of the Beast that lived on Planet Antares. Legendary and Mythical Beast Dragon types had 37 Beasts in rank 223 strongest Beasts. Perhaps because of Melanthios' death only 36 high-ranked Dragon Beasts remained.
Although the Beasts had over 200 Legendary Rank and Mythical Beasts, they were hostile towards each other. If they were not hostile towards each other, then Planet Antares would have been overrun by the Beasts a long time ago.
Planet Antares is a planet where the strong eat the weak. Strength was everything whether it was humans, Elves, Dwarves, Demons, Beasts, and other races. Perhaps the goal of the humanoid race was to reach the Demi God realm, while the Beast's goal was to reach the Saint Beast realm.
Although, the humanoid race was hostile towards each other. However, they were not infrequently allied especially when fighting powerful Beasts.
The roarrr!
Ignis went to the heap of treasures, his little claws dug up piles of gold coins, silver coins, gemstones and artifacts. It was like he was looking for something.
In poetry it is also mentioned,
"if you want to be the richest man in town then plunder the dragon's nest."
Even though only fools believed in it, they seemed to send their lives to death.
Rooars!
Ignis found something. He then returned to Lazarus with something in his mouth.
"Ignis, what did you find?" Lazarus asked curious about what Ignis was carrying.
Ignis then gives something he finds to Lazarus.
Lazarus accepted.
The object is a ring-shaped artifact filled with Ignis mucus.
Lazarus cleans the Ignis Mucus that covers the Ring Artifacts. As he cleared the Ring Artifact, he saw a sparkling silver-colored ring with many intricate carvings of ancient runes.
"It!" Lazarus widened his eyes when he found out about the ring. "The Draupnir Rank Legendary ring artifact!" Lazarus shouted and looked towards Ignis.
As the Red Dragon Ignis has a sensitivity to mana energy, he can sense the powerful mana of the Draupnir Ring Artifact.
Ignis stood proud and shook his tail. He was expecting praise from Lazarus.
Lazarus rubbed Ignis' head, a bright smile on Lazarus' lips. Draupnir rings can solve all his problems.
Draupnir rings are dimensional space storage rings with a large area. Not only that besides being able to store inanimate objects this ring can also store living things except the humanoid race. This ring is a sacred Artifact of the Dwarf race according to the legend of the Dwarf race, the Draupnir ring is a relic of the First King of Dwarves, the Dwarf, in addition to using it as a treasure depository the Ring is also used as a livestock storage from the threat of predatory Beasts.
"Wait!" Lazarus is aware of something.
Draupnir's ring was stolen by Red Dragon Ignatius 1000 years ago. Why is this ring in Melanthios' treasure trove. Dragons cannot use this ring.
Lazarus picked up Ignis and watched him closely. Lazarus was sweating coldly while Ignis rubbed his face against Lazarus' face.
"Ignis, k-you a-are a-son of Ignatius." Lazarus is stammered he realizes that Ignis' father and one uncapped dragon egg is Ignatius, the ruler of the Helios mountains.
Lazarus should have realized earlier that, the male Dragon that Melanthios was mating with must have been a strong male Dragon, not a normal Dragon or an impure Dragon.
Lazarus's vision became blurry and he fell backward and collapsed unconscious. He was shocked to become the target of the Red Dragon Beasts throughout Planet Antares.
Ignis, who saw Lazarus pass out, licked Lazarus' face. He was worried about Lazarus. A moment later, Ignis finally lay on Lazarus and began to fall asleep.
