Chapters 316. The Development of Regulus.
2 Weeks after the Cerulean Forest war.
*Regulus Area.
Plantation and Agriculture Regulus area is growing rapidly. People prefer to buy vegetables, fruits and herbal ice elements from the Regulus region because the price is much cheaper and the place is closer.
Reina and Akira refuse to live in the Regulus region and prefer to raise their two children in their place. Although Iris and the others had already forced them to stay.
The relationship of each Kingdom and Empire became increasingly strained due to the events in the Cerulean Forest. Especially the Zephyra Empire and the Silver Phoenix Empire that had collided several times at the border.
Regulus is peaceful and prosperous. High rank beasts and humanoid races lived peacefully, then the construction of 3 additional cities was completed. As planned, Regulus would have 12 Cities led by Cleon and 11 other Regulus Nobles because the Capital of Regulus could not accommodate many people.
Springtime
Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus were harvesting the Ice Apricot fruit. Celestial, the newly returned Lime and Ren help Lazarus to harvest the ripe Ice Apricot fruit. Arion and Leonhart play ground next to Lazarus.
"Urs, fruit." Arion stretched out his hand.
Lazarus peeled the apricot, then took the seeds and gave them to Arion and Leonhart. They like very fond of Apricot fruit that has a mixture of sweet and sour taste.
Cathrine called Arion and Leonhart, then returned to Regulus Castle carrying a basket of fresh apricots.
"Celes, Ren, Lime looks like this fruit is enough." Lazarus shouted to Lime, Celes and Ren who were on top of the tree.
"Master, Ren and I will return to the Emerald Forest to meet Ignis and the others. It seems that the population of herbivorous Beasts in the Emerald Forest is increasing." Celestial says.
"All right." Lazarus answered.
Lazarus, Icarus and Alastair wear casual clothing. They did not look like royalty, but their faces looked more handsome than most men.
All the inhabitants of Regulus smiled towards Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus.
"Sate Grasshopper! Typical Bird Satay Regulus 3 bronze per skewer!" A boy screams at a food store.
Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus approached the shop.
"Grand Duke, Duke and Prince!" The boy was surprised by the arrival of Lazarus and the others to his shop.
"Pear, why are you always surprised when we come here? Give us as usual." Lazarus smiled as he gave 5 Silver Coins.
Pear immediately prepared Lazarus' order of some locust satay and sparrows, then thanked Lazarus for teaching him to make locust satay and sparrows. Pear refused to accept the money, but Lazarus said that a merchant should not refuse the money.
Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus went to the fourth gate of the Regulus region aboard the Grand Demon Beast Blizzard Horse. In these 1 week they harvest, plant and train lightly because they are in a period of recovery after the war.
"Alastair, Icarus, what do you feel after breaking through the Legendary realm?" Lazarus asked.
"Dad, I feel my body getting stronger and my mana energy getting stronger." Alastair answered.
"I want to duel with my father immediately to try my powers." Icarus answered.
All the guards of the fourth gate of Regulus bowed toward Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus. They gave Lazarus a seat and the others sat down. This week Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus always went to the fourth gate to see the passing train entering the Regulus region.
"Grand Duke, why do the three of you always look like ordinary people?" A guard with brown hair and blue eyes asked.
"Ran, everyone must sometimes want to live like an ordinary person. Relax, see the sights, fish and harvest fruits and vegetables. Do you think a Noble should not wear casual clothes and take a walk in the City?" Alastair asked.
The guard kneels. "I'm sorry Mr. Alastair for speaking ill of you."
"Haha. Take it easy, we won't punish you and is there something interesting going on in the Lion Heart Empire?" Lazarus asked.
"Emperor Altair went to propose to Duchess Helene Leonis, then she was rejected by Duchess Helene. I know of it from the merchants of Lion Heart Empire." Ran replied.
"Don't Altair just divorce his 92 wives? Why would he want a new wife?" Lazarus asked.
"Uncle, Dad is a real man. Looks like the new Duchess has already captivated her heart." Icarus answered while eating grasshopper satay.
"It looks like I'm going to the Eternal Frost Empire to meet with my Grandpa Buyut with Deviela and Arion." Lazarus said as he chewed on the grasshopper satay.
"We want to come!" Alastair and Icarus shouted.
"No, I didn't go there to practice. But to visit my family. Alastair, Icarus the Demon race sometimes looked down on the human race because of the wars that took place in the past. If you and I leave again, there will be no leader in Regulus." Lazarus answered.
"I see, as a Duke, I'm very sorry I didn't come when Regulus was at war." Alastair lowered his head.
"Haha. I should have been the one who was so sorry for inviting you to practice, but we were caught up in that terrible war. Sometimes I get scared when you and Icarus fall in that war." Lazarus recalled the war in the Cerulean Forest, a war greater than all the wars Lazarus had ever fought.
The bodies of Alastair and Icarus trembled as they recalled the event. If Lazarus had not been with them, they might have died tragically.
A horse carriage pulled by the 5th War Beast Green Forest Horse stopped at the gates to the four Regulus regions.
The horseman opened the door of the carriage, a thin man with blond hair and blue eyes and a long mustache came out of the carriage. He wears black fancy clothes and neatly combed hair.
The guard beside Lazarus laughed, while Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus widened their eyes. Now they understood the reason the guards questioned their appearance.
2 Guards approached the baron.
"Do you have an identification to enter Regulus?" The guard asked.
"What! I will report you to the Grand Duke and Duke Regulus because you dared to block me from giving the Emperor an invitation!" Baron Arley shouted.
The guards glanced at Lazarus, then Lazarus nodded as a sign that Baron Ashley could enter without identification.
"All right, you can come in."
"Haha. Are you afraid I'll report you to the Grand Duke, then he fired you for blocking me from entering." Baron Ashley laughed, then walked back into the carriage.
While passing Lazarus and the others Baron Ashley stopped the carriage.
"Can you take me to Regulus Castle?" Baron Asher asked Lazarus and the others.
"You!" A guard wanted to say, but Icarus stopped him.
"Oh the generous and majestic Baron Ashley. We'll be happy to take you to Regulus Castle." Alastair smiles.
"I love your politeness. I give each of you 30 Silver Coins as payment for driving me to Regulus Castle." Baron Ashley said.
"Thank you, Baron!" Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus smiled, while the guards laughed.
Lazarus, Icarus and Alastair ride their Beast horses, then drive Baron Ashley to Regulus Castle.
"Is that Blizzard Horse?" Baron Ashley asked.
"Right, the Beast horse we rode on was the Blizzard Horse." Lazarus answered.
"Are you three stewards of the horse? I happen to need a steward in my castle. The three of you are very handsome young men, you can also train to be soldiers to serve my family." Baron Ashley smiled in amazement at the courtesy of Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus.
"Thank you for your offer." Alastair smiles.
Baron Ashley saw all the residents of Regulus along the way bowing and smiling towards him.
"Haha. All the Residents of Regulus know how to greet a Royal Noble Capital of the Lion Heart Empire, I am so amazed to Grand Duke Lazarus Regulus and Duke Alastair Regulus who have made the Regulus region as beautiful and rich as this." Baron Ashley said.
Baron Ashley arrived at Regulus Castle, a moment later all the guards immediately opened the gates to Regulus castle.
"Baron, we're here." Lazarus says.
Baron Ashley got off his carriage, and Lazarus, Alastair and Icarus led Baron Ashley to the castle of Regulus. All the servants of Regulus Castle bowed to welcome Lazarus. However, Baron Ashley considers all the servants welcome his arrival.
A moment later they reached the altar of Regulus' castle, where Iris was sitting gracefully on one of the thrones because a servant said that Lazarus was carrying a guest.
"Saint Iris." Baron Ashley immediately knelt down, while Lazarus walked past Baron Ashley and sat on the throne beside Iris.
Alastair and Icarus laughed out loud at all of that, they laughed at Baron Asher.
Baron Asher gulped down his saliva, sweat pouring down his face. He realized that the man was Grand Duke Lazarus Regulus, he recalled all the mistakes he had made.
"Grand Duke Lazarus Regulus! Forgive my rudeness and please forgive my family! I'll kill myself here as payment for all my sins." Baron Ashley prostrates.
Iris glanced at Lazarus who was holding back a laugh, she realized that Lazarus had already seduced Baron Ashley by pretending to be an ordinary person.
"I forgive you and what does Altair want to say?" Lazarus asked.
"Emperor Altair, invited the Grand Duke and 3 Lazarus Regulus and the 3 Other Duke to go to the Lion Heart Imperial Palace. He said something bad happened in the Aslan region and was expecting the help of Grand Duke Lazarus Regulus." Baron Ashley replied.
Lazarus stepped towards Baron Ashley. "Alright, I'll go there and you owe me 30 Silver Coins."
"Please forgive me Grand Duke! I'll be the steward of the horses in Regulus' castle as long as you forgive me." Baron Ashley sobbed.
"Are you the only one in your family?" Lazarus asked.
"I have 21 wives, a 23-year-old son and 30 daughters." Baron Asher said.
"Well, how much did you pay to be a baron?" Lazarus asked.
Baron Ashley whispered into Lazarus' ear.
"I'll pay you a hundred times for a job." Lazarus whispers.
"Haha. Grand Duke I will retire to become a Baron, then hand it over to my son! The sale of Beast Materials and Artifacts is my specialty." Baron Ashley laughed out loud.
Lazarus looked towards Baron Ashley with his Eye Of World, he had a rare Job Negotiation Expert Rank A and Swordsman Rank C. Wasn't he better suited to be a merchant than a ruler in a region that was almost bankrupt because of debt.
