Chaptre 86. Emerald Forest I.
"Master Urs, isn't it when we bring out a young high-ranked Beast that would easily attract the attention of a high-ranked Beast and a medium-ranked Beast?" Cordelia asked.
"Haha. I purposely to attract their attention." Lazarus chuckled a little.
"Although, the Emerald Forest included a safe forest to search for herbs, hunt and capture contract Beasts, but the Emerald Forest was vast and Adventurers would often see high Rank Beasts roaming about. I'm afraid that high-ranking Beast is attacking us for sensing the aura of your contract Beast and Princess Lynelle." Cordelia says.
"Just calm. We still have three Legendary realm people on our side. Saint Iris, Sebastian and Carissa are Legendary realm."
"Are you Saint Iris, Blizzard Witch Carissa and The Shadow Assasins Demon Sebastian!" Cordelia was surprised as she glanced in the other direction.
"Princess Cordelia hasn't seen each other since you were 3.. Is your mother Lefiya healthy?" Iris asked.
"Greetings Saint Iris! I'm fine." Cordelia stoops.
"Well, let's get into the Emerald Forest, soon the sun will set. We'll run out of time to set up camp and hunt for food. We'll catch the Beast's contract in the morning." Lazarus says.
Lazarus Group enters the Emerald Forest. As the name implies, the Emerald Forest is filled with green trees and plants. They, saw many insect Beasts flying around the Emerald Forest.
"Mr Sebastian, can you set up a tent? I'm going to go hunting. Golden Fang remembered don't fly around the forest we don't know what dangers are watching us in the shadows."
"As you command, Master." Golden Fang replied.
Lazarus and Cordelia started hunting Beasts to eat, they finally found a dozen War Beast Horned Rabbits around the forest. Cordelia, then shot her three arrows at once towards the 3 Magical Beast Horned Rabbit and precisely hit the head of the 3-tailed War Beast Horned Rabbit.
The War Beast Horned Rabbit was 2 times the size of a common rabbit and had one spiral horn on its forehead.
"Urs, I got three War Beast Horned Rabbits, but there's still less for all of us to have dinner." Cordelia said while carrying 3 Horned Rabbit corpses on her waist.
When Cordelia went to Lazarus, she was shocked to see that Lazarus had already hunted a Magical Beast Black Horn Brown Deer. In Lazarus' hand was a silver-colored dagger artifact that was covered in blood.
"How can you hunt down the Magical Beast Black Horn Brown Dear!"
The Magical Beast Black Horn Brown Deer was about the same size as a horse. They are famous for their delicious meat. However, they are very difficult to hunt because they move with agility and nimble. In fact, an Epic realm Elf Hunter required a lot of effort to hunt down that Beast.
Cordelia looked towards the corpse of the Deer Beast in front of her. He, only found an incision wound on the Beast's neck.
"Miss Cordelia, I hunted the deer by luring it with Herbs that had been smeared by the Female Deer Pheromones. When the deer caught my breath I moved with lightning and slashed the deer's neck." Lazarus explained.
"Female Deer Solomon! Why, me and the Elf hunters never thought of that! When, we use the Female Deer Pheromone in the mating period of the Deer-type Beast. We can hunt the Deer Beast easily!" Cordelia touched his forehead.
Lazarus lifted the corpse of the Deer Beast on his shoulder, then said, "Miss Cordelia, let's go back to camp. Everyone must have been waiting for dinner."
"All right."
Lazarus and Cordelia reached Iris' tent and the others had lit a bonfire and waited for Lazarus and Cordelia to finish hunting
"Urs, did you hunt the Magical Beast Black Horn Brown Deer! That beast has a very good taste!" Freya says.
"Perhaps, this Beast is enough for everyone. Do you have any cooking skills?"
Everyone shakes lightly. They, usually only burned Beast meat while in the wild.
"All right, I'll cook."
Lazarus immediately skinned the corpse of the Deer Beast, then cleaned his innards with Carissa's water element magic. Lazarus skillfully cut off the meat parts of the Deer Beast meticulously.
"Urs, what's this material?" Carissa asked while pointing towards the yellow lump like cheese.
"The name of this ingredient is butter! Carissa this ingredient is made from Brown Cow fat." Lazarus smiled as he chopped potatoes, carrots, onions, shallots and under white and chili peppers.
Lazarus took out a frying pan he had bought while in Briton City along with plenty of vegetables and seasonings. He heated the water in the frying pan, then put butter, Beast venison, potatoes, diced carrots, sliced onions, garlic, salt, pepper, etc, and chili powder into the frying pan. Lazarus, then stir the soup carefully.
Smell smelling aroma. Everyone drooled when they smelled the food Lazarus was cooking.

"What's this! The gods are watching me! Wait now that I'm with Iris, it means that Goddess Elektra is watching me." - Lazarus.
Lazarus handed out bowls and spoons to everyone, then served them to everyone.
When Iris and everyone tasted it they felt a completely new taste. Soft venison, sweet taste of fresh carrots and carbohydrates from potatoes coupled with a thick sauce with a salty, savory and slightly spicy taste.

Everyone felt a change in their status.
"Mr Urs, I've never eaten soup this good.wait for my stats to increase! Is this soup the first food to appear?" Cordelia asked.
"The name of this food is Kari." Lazarus answered.
"Urs, can I ask for another bowl no! But, three bowls." Carissa gave her empty bowl to Lazarus.
"We are too."
"Take it there's still one pan full of curry. When I'm done I can make it again."
"really Great! If this food is mixed with Rice from the Eastern Continent this food will be the most delicious food in the world." Sebastian said as he ate the curry that Lazarus had devoured.
"Nation? Sebas, do you know where to get rice?" Lazarus asked.
"Different from the Western Continent which has the main food made of wheat. People living in the Eastern Continent used Rice made from steamed rice. Urs, you can get rice and rice seeds from the Continent Merchant Union." Sebastian smile.
"If Kari Rice, will be one of the menus in Restaurant The North, will certainly be many people in all circles who will come to feel the delicacy of curry Rice." Inner Lazarus.
Lazarus still remembered various food recipes while he was on earth.
"I'm full.." Eira said, then closed her eyes.
After eating, Lynelle, Freya, Eleanor, Cordelia and her two friends fell into a deep sleep. Golden Fang and the other Beasts were standing guard around the Emerald forest.
Lazarus took out two bottles of Wine Garcia from Draupnir's storage ring.
"Sufuku. Urs, are you going to drink it alone?" Carissa chuckled small.
"Urs, I'll accompany you for a drink." Sebastian says.
Lazarus gave the glass to Iris, Carissa, Sebastian, Charlotte, and Amarylis, then poured the wine into their glass.
"Miss Charlotte and Miss Amarylis, have you made peace?" Lazarus asked.
"Urs, we've made peace! We're aware of both of our selfishness." Charlotte replied as she gulped down her Wine.
While on the Battlefield Amaryllis and Charlotte fought together. They, sacrificing each other's lives now they realize that they still care for each other, but their selfishness does not allow them to open their hearts to each other.
"Duke Ray Zander, promise me after the Beast Waves are over he will drink Wine with me. Although Duke Ray has a childish nature, but he is a true Knight." Lazarus took a sip of his wine.
"Urs, do you feel guilty for Ray's death?" Iris asked.
"No. The death of a Knight on the battlefield is an honor. Though I sometimes think why I didn't come early."
For some reason Lazarus always remembered Ray's death, he did not even know who he was Sham or Lazarus. He, was confused about all this.
"Urs, did you see that many stars. Ray, once said that when he died his story would always shine like a star in the night sky." Carissa says.
"When Ray was here he would have cheered us all up, but when there was no one Ray would have cried so hard as at Lazarus' death." Sebastian says.
"May Ray be happy in the Garden of Eden." Iris praying.
"Urs, can you tell me about your trip with Diana and Alyssa? I wonder what you've been through?" Carissa asked.
Diana, Grace and Richard were unable to follow Lazarus to the Kingdom of Terra as they still had many tasks to complete in the Avalon Empire. Sieg and the Golden Dragon Party went to the Swallow Empire for getting the mission. While Bleddyn with Berdic went to Briton City to supervise and protect Mr. Ferdinand who had a little problem there.
Lazarus began to tell everyone what had happened on his journey.

"Ray Zander, take it easy now you'll be my Saint. But not now.. You should ponder over the twenty forbidden books you made."

"What do they mean?" ray's inner self while letting out cold sweat from his forehead. "They were more like the God of Death and the Evil Dragon God than a God of Life and a good Dragon God."
