Chaptre 265. Corpse Pile.
The Lazarus group arrived at the Cerulean Forest, they entered the Cerulean Forest on foot because if they flew they would be exposed by the illusionary fog and lure the high rank Beasts living in the Cerulean Forest.
The atmosphere of Cerulean Forest was very humid in growing many Giant Iron Wood Trees. Trees that can grow up to 50 meters and a variety of other large trees.
A thin mist was seen in the outer Cerulean Forest and the sound of the Insect Beasts sounded extremely loud. It was as if they were in another world, in contrast to the Eternal Poison Forest, Emerald Forest and Atlanta Forest. The Cerulean Forest was full of swamps, valleys, rivers and the misty precipitous cliffs where the High Rank Flying Beasts nested.
According to Orion in every region has a Beast ruler. The more it entered into the core part of the Cerulean Forest the stronger the Beast was the ruler of that region.
The Cerulean Forest was called a heaven for wood element beasts because of the energy density where the wood, water and earth elements were there. The ecosystem in the deepest part of the Cerulean Forest is also very well preserved and has not been touched by the Humanoid race.
A burly, brown-haired and blue-eyed bear beastman with a group of people approached the Lazarus group. "Ludger! Do you want to find Herbs in Cerulean Forest?"
"Bedros, have not met for a long time and what are the conditions in the Cerulean Forest?" Ludger asked.
"The outer Cerulean forest is fine, but the inner region is very dangerous. Even for the Markenary Rank S Party which consists of 3 people of Legendary realm." Bedros replied, then their group walked closer towards the Lazarus group.
Bedros and the members of the Marcenary saw a Legendary Beast Forest Phoenix, Emerald Lion and a Winged Nine-Colored Poison Snake there.
"Fuck!! Are you guys the illusion created by the Beast!" Bedros and his group took out a weapon Artifact.
Lazarus' group was confused by Bedros' and his group's expressions. However, the vision in the fog was very blurry, especially in the Outer Forest which had a thin layer of illusory fog.
"Bedrus! Stone head! Don't you recognize who the former Party Nine Head Golden Lion's leader is!" Hector exclaims.
"Hector!!"
Bedros and the others knelt down. They know that they are not in an illusion.
"What is your real purpose in the Cerulean Forest? Aren't you here to hunt?"
"Your Majesty! We went to the Cerulean Forest to look for the Golden Eyes Grifone Marquis with his troops who fled to the Cerulean Forest after losing the war to the Steel Heart region army." A Beastman Mouse said.
"Emperor Hector, forgive us for not being able to carry out our duties that Duchess Eilaria has given." A female Beastman Leopard said.
"Hector, Ludger, what's your purpose here? Who are the humans and the 3 high rank Beasts that are with you guys?" Bedros asked.
"Bedros, we went to the Cerulean Forest to train and introduce them is the husband of Grand Duke Lazarus Regulus, his first son Alastair Regulus and the First Prince of the Lion Heart Empire Icarus Lion Heart." Hector says.
"What!! Are the rumors about Grand Duke Lazarus Regulus contracting over 20 High Rank Beasts true?" Bedros asked.
"This rumor is true and return to Red Lion City to protect the city from Marquis Grifone's attack. I'm afraid he and the rest of his army have already come out of the Cerulean Forest and are hiding to counterattack." Ludger says.
"According to your orders, Duke!" Bedros and the others answered.

The Lazarus group smiled.

"I saw a herd of Demon Beast Mist Crane flying towards the west and an Epic Beast Forest Wyvern chasing after them." Icarus answered using Raegal Earring.
"Alright, it means that this region is not a high rank Beast territory. If there's still a herd of Forest Wyvern chasing a herd of Mist Crane." Lazarus answered.
Ludger and Bedros were surprised to see it all. Lazarus could communicate with Icarus who was at the top of the tree and what artifacts were used by Icarus so that it could penetrate the thick fog.
"Urs, what kind of telecommunication artifact are you using?" Bedros asked.
"I forgot about it! I should've given this to you guys." Lazarus gave a pair of Raegal Earring to Bedros and Ludger.
Raegal Earring artifacts are used using magnetic stones so that they do not have to perforate their ears.
"Emerald, Linwood, Rainbow, you must claw and leave your scent in this place. So that the high-rank and medium-ranked Beast won't attack us."

The Lazarus group went to the central region of the Cerulean Forest. They met many Magical Beasts and Demon Beasts, but due to the presence of 3 young Legendary Beasts. The Beasts preferred to run away from Lazarus' group.

An Epic Beast Green Forest Owl Bear with the head of an owl and the body of a bear with green feathers ran towards the Lazarus group.
"Let me kill him!" Bedros said as he took out his battle axe artifact.
"No! We have to kill him together! If you kill him alone will be very draining of energy, we do not know what dangers await us in the depths of the Cerulean Forest. We have to be as good as possible to save energy." Lazarus says.
"All right." Bedros looked at Lazarus with a new look. Lazarus is a reliable leader.
5 minutes later the Lazarus group had already defeated the Epic Beast Green Forest Owl Bear.
Alastair and Icarus dissected the Beast and retrieved the valuable materials from the Beast's corpse. The Epic Beast's core element was wood, beak, claw and Beast's flesh.
Lazarus took out a water storage artifact, then washed everyone's bodies.

Emerald, Linwood and Rainbow smell everyone's body.

"Griffon!!" Bedros yells.

Lazarus, Icarus, Alastair and Hector told Ludger and Bedros to keep quiet.
"Shut up, we have to see the situation! Didn't you guys see behind them a pile of bodies?" Alastair asked.
Ludger and Bedros were shocked when they saw the pile of corpses around Marquis Grifone. They only realized it now because they were too focused on Grifone.
"I thought it was all a trap! How is Grifone and one of his followers still alive! All his guards and troops are dead! I guess their corpses have been dead for 2 days, how could the wild Beasts not prey on Grifone and his one follower." Lazarus says.
"Seeing from the scars on all the corpses, I learned that they were not marks of swords or other weapons. But the claws of the Beast are big cats like leopards, tigers or lions." Hector says.
Icarus nodded. "Beast rank high breed of big cats, but not yet mature from the size of the scratches. Only high-ranking beasts have intelligence like the humanoid race and he uses Grifone and the others as bait."
"Urs, we'll do as planned! Emerald, me and Urs are going there. Icarus, Alastair and Rainbow will be in the middle, while Linwood, Ludger and Bedros will be paying attention at the back. You guys should tell us when the Beast attacked." Hector says.
"Hector, why don't we go there together?" Ludger asked.

Lazarus, Hector and Emerald finally get to Grifone's place and one of his subordinates.

Ludger and Bedros saw a black shadow running rapidly from a distance fused with the darkness of the night.
"Be careful, Urs and Hector, the Beast is going towards you from the North!" Bedros and Ludger pulled the bowstring so that it curved sharply and aimed towards the Beast.

The beast pounced towards Lazarus because his instincts said Lazarus was the weakest.
"Swooosh!!" 2 Arrows shot towards the Beast, but the Beast was able to dodge the arrows of Bedros and Ludger.
Alastair and Icarus immediately ran to where Lazarus was while emitting an Epic realm aura and attacked the Beast with his spear. Sensing the aura of those 2-man Epic Instinct Beast realm sensed danger and wanted to escape, but Emerald blocked his path of escape.
"Groooohar!!" Emerald roars.
"Cliiii.." Rainbow flew towards the Beast and shot out a liquid of paralyzing poison.
"Hector, go help them and don't kill the Beast! I'm a little interested in the Beast."
"Alright," Hector smiled and joined the fight.

"Is that the Ancient Golden Darkness Leopard? But the big cat had 2 curved horns on its head and had no golden pattern." Icarus says.
"The Ancient Black Horned Purple Eyed Darkness Lion! A very rare beast! They are born natural killers, and hard to find. The moment they broke through the Legendary Beast realm, they could rival a Mythical realm Assasins." Hector says.
Ludger and Bedros were surprised to hear Hector's words. They didn't know since when Hector was this cold-minded and intelligent. They wondered what medicine Urs had given Hector.
"Swooosh!"
Bedros shot his arrow, then the arrow hit Emerald's thigh.
"Grooooa!!"
Emerald roars in pain.
"Fuck! Stay focused on your fight and your task! If you do something wrong again, I'll kick you out!" Hector yelling.
"I'm sorry." Bedros.
Lazarus tried to treat Marquis Grifone and Viscount Black Crow. But he realized there was no hope of treating them.
"Kill me!" Grifone said in a limp voice.
"Master, please end our suffering!" The crow beastman said.
Lazarus shook his head lightly. "It is not I who have the right to take your lives, but Hector and Ludger are the ones who have the right to take your lives."
"Rooo!!" Emerald roars as a sign of victory, seen 1 arrow stuck in his thigh and many scars and bites on his body.
The Emerald green mane fluttered as it was blown by the wind. He stepped on the body of the lioness Beast with its two claws.
"Grooooars!" The lioness beast continued to rebel. But the roots of the tree suddenly tied the body of the female cat.
"Yeah!" Linwood flew towards Lazarus with Ludger and Bedros.

They saw the Grifone Eagle Eye Marquis and the already helpless Black Crow Crown Baron lying on his back on a tree.
Hector who had finished fighting went towards Marquis Grifone. He knew that Grifone was already dying, not even the Void Rank Potion would be able to save his life either.

"Mr Emerald, I'm sorry for shooting the arrow wrong." Bedros pulled out an arrow on Emerald's thigh.
Emerald looked towards Bedros, then glued the Feather-eating caterpillar to Bedros' hair.

Bedros went towards the Lazarus group.
"What happened to your hair!" Lazarus and the others shouted.
Bedros immediately pulled out a mirror, then reflected. "Ahhhhhhhkk, my beautiful hair!!'
