Chaptre 89. Proud Lion Vs Cruelty Tiger.
Golden Fang faced each other with the Alpa of the lion Beast herd. They looked at each other's strength while growling to reveal sharp canines.
"Aummmm..."
The Green Lion Beast charged first towards Golden Fang. However, Golden Fang was able to avoid it, then clawed at the Green Lion's Alpa face.
"Aummmm..."
Alpa Green Lion roared, then leaped onto Golden Fang's back and bit the Golden Fang's golden wings. Golden Fang gushed lightning down his wings, then struck the Green Lion Alpa with his wings.
The Green Lion's Alpa was thrown and crashed into the trees, but he was able to get back up. Then he used his wood element Skill to control the tree roots and tie it to the four legs of Golden Fang.
Golden Fang attempted to untie the root rope binding his legs. However, it was too late for the Green Lion Alpa to claw at Golden Fang's face.
"You've scratched my handsome face!" Golden Fang said as he strengthened his aura.
The swarm of One-Horned Beast Green Lion gathered at the side of the dueling area. They, were unable to move their legs to help the leader because of the bloodline pressure from Golden Fang, Kyle and the many high rank Beasts not far from their place. Especially the most frightening pressure was the pressure from Asterion who was lying casually beside Lazarus. They felt they were already trapped inside the net and could not get out.
"Mr Urs, do we have to stop them?" Cordelia asked.
"No! To evolve Golden Fang needed a powerful opponent. Coincidentally the Green Lion Alpa Beast had almost the same strength as the Golden Fang.
Note: Most Beast rank low and are living in groups.
The Golden Fang moved swiftly and charged towards the Alpa Green Lion, but the Green Lion's Alpa could match the Golden Fang's speed.
"Aummmm..."
The Green Lion's Alpa roared, then clawed at Golden Fang's body with intense killing intent. He, sensing that if he lost here he and his flock would be killed.
That Green Lion Alpa gave off all of its power. The tendrils from the Rattan trees bound Golden Fang's wings and body.
"Amr..." Golden Fang growled and desperately released the Rattan tree tendrils that bound him.
Alpa Green Lion did not allow Golden Fang to break away. He, pouncing towards Golden Fang, then clawed and bit Golden Fang. His green mane moved like a crown of the king. Golden Fang did not benefit from fighting in the forest area which was the territory of the wood-elemented Green Lion if only they fought in the open area. It must be Golden Fang who will benefit.
"Amr.."
Golden Fang was able to break away, then retort the claw and bite of the Green Lion's Alpa. The battle of the two forest kings, they would not surrender so easily. Alpa Green Lion continued to claw and bite Golden Fang he did not allow Golden Fang to use his Skill and wings. Although, the Golden Fang looks bigger because it has wings, but the rank and ability of the Golden Fang is the same as the Green Lion Alpa.
"Is the Green Lion's Alpa a Variant Beast? He can withstand the attacks of the young Legendary Beast!" Eleanor shouted.
Snow who was beside Eleanor continued to pay attention to the Golden Fang fight without blinking. He, has a grudge against Golden Fang.
There were many scratches and bites on the bodies of Golden Fang and Alpa Green Lion. Kyle, who saw it wanted to help Golden Fang, but was stopped by Crimson. If they were to disturb this duel it would definitely damage Golden Fang's pride.
"Aummmm.."
Golden Fang hit the head of the Green Lion Alpa with his head. Instantly the Green Lion was thrown towards Asterion. However, Asterion did not care about it and remained lying idle while glancing towards Golden Fang..
The Green Lion Alpa got back up and paid no heed to Asterion, then dashed towards Golden Fang.
The Golden Fang that had already shot out many lightning feather-shaped bolts from its wings. The Green Lion's Alpa was hit by the Golden Fang lightning element skill, but he tenaciously bounced back.
5 Minutes passed. Golden Fang and Alpa Green Lion were already severely injured. However, they still bite each other, claw, hit and attack using their respective elemental skills.
"Aummmm.."
"Goldie, do you need help?" Asterion asked using a soul contract.
"I don't need any help. If, you help me I'll piss on wine supplies." Golden Fang replied.
"Sad.. The lion is as powerful as Regulus! You can't beat him easily."
Golden Fang has a metal element that makes the flesh and fur very hard. However, the bite and claw of the Green Lion Alpa could pierce through the Golden Fang's fur and flesh quite deeply.
"Aummmm.."
Alpa Green Lion who was already injured used a Regeneration Skill and slowly the wounds that were on his body recovered. As a wood element beast he had a high regeneration ability.
Golden Fang used his Skill and coated all of his body with a golden-coloured lightning. He, then attacked back the Green Lion Alpa.
"Aummmm..." Alpa Green Lion who looks have run out of mana roars.
Golden Fang seized the opportunity and pounced on the Green Lion Alpa it fell to the ground. He, then continued to claw at the Green Lion's Alpa's body.
"Swoos.."
The swarm of One-Horned Forest Green Lion that saw their leader almost die attacked Golden Fang. The three male lion Beasts roared as they pounced on Golden Fang, resulting in Golden Fang being thrown and falling onto the thorny bushes.
Golden Fang who saw his fight in the bullies became very angry. He, stared intently at the lion Beast herd. However, Regulus ran into the fight area and pounced on Golden Fang to the ground.
"Regulus, let me go!" Golden Fang shouted.
"Golden Fang, stop! the fight is over." Lazarus says.
"Master, no one has won between us yet! Alpa Green Lion still has the desire to fight." Golden Fang thrashed around trying to break free.
Sirius, Kyle and Crimson help Regulus to hold back Golden Fang.
Alpa Green Lion attempted to stand up, then walked towards Lazarus. Everyone became wary of fearing that the Green Lion Alpa was attacking Lazarus.
"Aummmm.." The Green Lion's Alpa growled softly, then lay on his back as if as a sign of surrender. Alpa Green Lion knew that there was no way to escape.
"This beast is so smart!" Cordelia says.
Lazarus took the Heal Potion from the Draupnir Ring, then splashed it into the bodies of the Alpa Green Lion and Golden Fang. Although, he was a little regretful of using the Remnant Heal Potion Rank Unique as it had already been widely used by the joint forces during the war in the Kingdom of Pendragon.
"How rich am I. I used a Heal Potion for 100 gold just to treat a Beast. Although, I still have a lot of his materials that I bought in the Continent Merchant Guild. Arriving at the Kingdom of Terra I will sell the Legendary Rank Potion and buy many Unique Rank Potions." Inner Lazarus..
Alpa Green Lion glanced towards Lazarus with a puzzled expression. He, did not understand why this human was treating his injuries.
Lazarus took the core of the wood element Demon Beast from the Draupnir Ring, then gave it to the Green Lion Alpa. Slowly Lazarus drew his hand toward the head of the Green Lion Alpa.
Alpa Green Lion's instinct felt that Lazarus was harmless and allowed Lazarus to touch his head and wipe his dense mane.
"Make a contract with me." Lazarus says.
Lazarus makes a contract with Alpa Green Lion.
Alpa Green Lion did not fight back when Lazarus made the contract. Eventually a contract is formed.
