Chaptre 69. The Nest of Legendary Beasts.
"Master, I saw a Legendary Beast's nest near the river's headwaters behind the waterfall and another one in a cave made of ice not far from there." Asterion says.
"Asterion, I'll go there."
"Asterion, don't you find it strange that not a single Epic Beast is attacking us, they seem to be moving away from us?" Ignis asked.
"Ignis, they might be afraid of you because you are already emitting the aura of an Epic Beast realm." Asterion answered.
"Hahaha, just this time you praised me. I'll tell you how I and the Master fought the Epic Beast." Ignis laughed and increased his speed of flying away from Asterion.
Asterion glanced into the distance with sharp eyes, then flew after Ignis.
In the distance the Gold Dragon Evanthe along with the Legendary Beast group came out from their hiding place.
"Is the Black Dragon Crossbreed Beast Black Dragon and Red Dragon like Melanthios? He has a keen instinct and can find our hiding place in a considerable distance." Gray Dragon the female said.
Gold Dragon Evanthe nodded. "Black Dragon was the son of Melanthios and Ignatius."
"I haven't seen Melanthios in a long time, but I heard Ignatius was hunted by the Dwarves for stealing their Sacred Treasure." Gray Dragon male said.
"Melanthios was dead while Ignatius was hiding in the Helios Mountains." Gold Dragon Evanthe replied.
"How, Melanthios is dead! He, is one of the candidates of the Dragon King faction of the Color Dragon." The male Ancient Ice Dragon Crocodile said.
The male Ancient Ice Dragon Crocodile had fought Melanthios in the past. He, lost so easily. The strength of Melanthios was even stronger than the Gold Dragon Evanthe and was as powerful as the Red Dragon Ignite.
"I didn't know it, but he obviously lost in a one-on-one duel."
"Lord Evanthe, what was more interesting was that Beast Master. He, can contract countless pure-blooded Beasts. I saw him taking very good care of the young Red Dragon and Black Dragon.The sturdy body and wings were flawless, hard scales, and, their color and aura were stronger than Beast Dragons of the same age." The female Frost Water Wyrm said.
"I agree with you.. That Beast Master had already provided harsh training and nutritious food for his Contract Beast. I'm not worried about leaving my son. If, my son grew up in the King Forest Territory I was afraid that he would not survive no more than 2 years. Because a lot of sneaky Beasts like Chameleon are going after my son." The female Ancient Ice Dragon Crocodile nodded.

The Lazarus group went towards the waterfall. They, only faced low rank Beasts and no Grand Demon Beasts and Epic Beasts blocked their path.
"Urs, where's the Legendary Beast nest you're looking for. Wouldn't it be easier to ride Asterion's back?" Alyssa complained.
"Miss Alyssa, your legs are really weak. We only ran for half an hour, but you're exhausted." Adair who was on Halton's shoulders smiled.
"Adair, you're not even walking!" Alyssa screaming.
Alyssa had not exercised for a long time and was just drunk and wearing low rank magic.
"I think the Legendary Beast's lair is behind that waterfall." Lazarus pointed towards the waterfall.
"Water Control!"
Alyssa used her water element magic skill. The waterfall split in two. Behind it there is a cave that has a fairly deep tunnel.
"Urs, help me to jump." Alyssa says.
"Urs, just let me carry Alyssa." Freya held Alyssa on her back.
"Freya, you're so insensitive!" Alyssa was a little screaming.
The Lazarus group jumped towards the Legendary Beast's lair. They, looking at the dark, moist cave was also cold.
"Alyssa, cancel your skill." Lazarus says.
"Master Urs, these are all treasures." Richard smiled broadly.
Lazarus told Richard to shut up. He, fearing the Legendary Beasts who lived here returned his lair and knew of their whereabouts.
"Do you have any large storage bag artifacts?" Lazarus asked.
Everyone nodded.
Lazarus gave a pickaxe, hammer and mining tool to everyone, except Sieg and Aland.
"Urs, what do you mean?" Freya asked with innocent eyes.
"Urs, do you want to plunder the Legendary Beast's lair! Not just stealing the eggs! It's just a madman who looted the Legendary Beast's lair!" Alwyn yells.
"Shuuuttt!" Sieg told Alwyn to shut up. "Hiding a Legendary Beast's egg was the same as death and many times worse than plundering a Legendary Beast's nest. Alwyn, even the S rank Adventurer's mission pay for 10 years would be no more profitable than plundering the Legendary Beast's lair."
"But stealing is evil!" Alwyn glanced at everyone.
"Track! The truck! Tracks!"
Halton, Freya, Ronin and Tyr started mining vigorously. Richard, Grace and Alyssa were picking Herbs with trained techniques.
"Theresa, Adair?" Alwyn glanced towards Theresia and Adair.
"We'll both be on guard outside! We'll provide information when the Legendary Beast returns to the nest." Theresia.
"Alwyn, looting the Beast's nest is not as evil as stealing the Beast's egg. Those Legendary Beasts did not require mana crystals and medium-ranked Herbs to survive. However, the mana around him as well as the Core and Beast meat were low and medium rank. Herbs and crystals where this was trash to them. Think of it as a payment to take care of their child. Caring for a Legendary Beast child also requires a lot of money." Lazarus touched Alwyn's shoulder.
"Well, Urs. I believe you." Alwyn started picking herbs with a pleased expression.
Sieg glanced at Alwyn. "Whether it's just me or Alwyn has a flowery aura around him."
Lazarus, Aland and Sieg went to the end of the Legendary Beast's lair cave. They saw a crystal blue egg the size of an Ignis egg.
"I think from the height of this cave. I think it's a Legendary Beast Egg Frozen Water Wyrm." Sieg says.
"Right, this is the Legendary Beast Egg Frozen Water Wyrm. There was only the Ancient Ice Dragon Crocodile and Frozen Water Wyrm nesting in the King Forest." Aland nodded.
Lazarus, put the egg into the Draupnir Ring Artifact, then they left the nest. Although, there were still many crystals where water and ice elements and rare herbs were located there. Lazarus was afraid as they focused on plundering the Frozen Water Wyrm back into its lair.
Lazarus gave the pickaxe to Sieg and Aland.
"Urs, what do you mean? Do I have to mine when my Kingdom is destroyed? My wife Chloe is also still waiting at the Palace." Aland says.
"Aland, rest assured the Kingdom of Pendragon will prevail and it looks like this war will last for a week! I've already sent a message to the Nobles of Avalon, the Kingdom and the Empire that are around the Kingdom of Pendragon to help. The troops outside the Continent who attacked the Western Continent Kingdom and Empire were the enemies of all the people living in the Western Continent."
"Urs, is that true?" Aland asked with teary eyes.
Lazarus nodded.
Aland hugged Lazarus.
"The Kingdom of Pendragon and the Avalon Empire are one of my allies in the future. We have fought life and death. When the Great Dragon Clan and the other Beast Clans besides the Great Cat Clan learned of the existence of my contract monsters. You must defend me!" inner Lazarus.

Sieg looked at Lazarus and Aland blankly. "Is this the Love Story of Emperor Altair and Duke Lazarus in volume two? If, Miss Chloe and Theresia see this! It's gonna be dangerous."
