Chapters 73. Siegfried's Death.
The Merlin Sage Dungeon consisted of 5 floors. The first floor is the entrance where the inscription tells the story of him and all his companions. The second floor was where he researched about the first epoch. The third floor was the battle practice area. The fourth floor was a vast green area lined with dimensional Barrier and the last floor was where he kept all his treasures.
Lazarus' group entered the second floor. They found a room like a very large library in the middle of which was 7 statues measuring 15 meters made of 7 different colored noble rocks. And 3 statues of women measuring 17 meters are made using Crystal material where stone element light, crystal where stone element darkness and crystal where stone element light and darkness.
The seven statues are made of gold, platinum, bronze, ruby gems, emerald gems, black diamond gems, and blue sapphire gems.
"Is this the statue of the Seven King? Why was it only the Golden King and White King whose faces were engraved by the Sage Merlin. Waitaminute! Didn't the faces of the Golden King and White King resemble those of Urs and Sieg?" Adair asked.
"Sage Merlin, probably carved his face based on the face of King Arthur and Leonidas' ancestor because they were Sage Merlin's companions." Theresia said as she watched White King's face.
"Golden King uses Long Sword Artifacts, White King uses Great Sword Artifacts, Brown King is a Dwarf race that uses Battle Hammer Artifacts, Green King is an Elf race woman who uses Magic Staff Artifacts, The Red King was a woman who used Spear Artifacts, Black King was a Demon Race man who used Dagger Artifacts and Short Sword and lastly Blue King was a male Race who used Trident Artifacts. Was that weapon a weapon that was above the Mythical Rank?" Sieg asked.
"Sieg, the helmet used by the Red King was also an Artifact that was above the Mythical Rank. I was made in the fifth epoch along with the Golden Ruler's Hammer weapon Artifacts, Holy Sword Excalibur, Emperor Sword Gladius, Demon Sword Dainsleif, Aegis Shield, Sword Of Storm Ame-no Hibakiri, The Grass Cutter Kusanagi No Tsurugi, Murakumo, Tyrant Sword Gramr, The Short Sword Herpe, The Dragon Slaying Sword Ascalon, Little Sea Trident, Yggdrasil Staff, Wisdom Ring, Soul binding chain, Mountain Breaker Axe Earth Pride and Northern Iceberg Spear Frostin. Then, Rule's Golden Hammer created 5 more Mythical rank Artifacts Heart Piercing Dagger, Sun Arrow Houyi, Holy Grails, Great Sword Azure Dragon, and Luna's full moon crescent. The number is 21. I don't know why the Dwarves of over 3000 years have not created any more Mythical rank Artifacts." Durandal said.
"Sieg, have you wanted to collect all those Artifacts? You will be able to trigger the war of the Continent! Because the Artifact was already possessed and spread across the four Continents." Theresia.
"Theresia, the more powerful Artifacts we have the safer we are, but the price of Artifacts is very expensive! I spent 190,000 Gold Coins to purchase the Epic White Dragon Spear Rank Artifacts and 900 Million Gold Coins to purchase the Legendary Fire Crescent Rank Artifacts from the auction."
"Sieg, if you talk about the Legendary Fire Crescent Rank Artifacts again I will not hesitate to kill you right now!" Theresia yells.
"Theresa, why did you and Sieg fight?" Lazarus asked.
"This scoundrel has stolen 1 Billion Gold Coins belonging to father to purchase Artifacts at auction! So he's been kicked out and I always have to watch him!"
"Theresa, I don't steal, but I only borrow money from father .. Dad also confiscated all my rare, unique, epic, Fire Crescent Rank Legendary Artifacts! He, saying all of that to be a guarantee, if I don't pay off my debt in 350 years' time, he won't give away all of my Artifacts and will auction them back at auction." Sieg has teary eyes.

"Sieg, when we defeated the Green Dragon and plundered its nest we almost died and do you know the number of treasures in the nest?"
"The number of treasures in the Green Dragon nest is 140 Million Gold Coins and we can sell the Material from the Dragon's body for 70 Million Gold Coins. Everyone earned a share of 30 Million Gold Coins. You didn't give me my share of money!"
"When we were just a D rank Party, so the Guild took all of the Green Dragon's body Material and replaced it by raising our party's rank to S rank party. As per the rules of the Adventurer Guild all Beast materials that the adventurer party got below A rank would belong to the Guild!"
"We still have 140 Million Gold Coins when looting the treasure in the Dragon's nest and I still have a share of 20 million gold coins."
"Sieg, we all almost died at that time and bought 7 Legendary Rank Potions for 119 Million Gold Coins. We only have 21 Million Gold Coins left and divide them into 7 people so each get 3 million Gold Coins."
"How is it possible? The golden-eyed old fox was giving 1% interest a year, for the debt of 1 billion gold coins I had meant that each year my debt would increase by 10 Million Gold Coins! Everyone looked towards Sieg. They were, all on the verge of dying while fighting a normal Legendary Beast Green Dragon. Although, it would have to fight a minimum of 40 Legendary Beast Dragons to pay all of Sieg's Debt. The average pay of a Party Rank S mission was 300-10,000 Gold Coins and if lucky to defeat a Legendary Beast they could earn 1-3 Million Gold Coins from selling Beast Materials.
"Urs, are your Artifacts Claymore Rank Legendary?" Durandal asked.
"My artifact is called Claymore Black Dragon Rage. Brother, who made it for me as well as Magic Staff Rank Epic Alyssa and Battle Axe Rank Epic belonging to Freya."
"Do you guys order Artifacts directly to the Black Smith Dwarf Rank Legendary? For direct order prices are very expensive! In fact, the Dwarves would charge 10 times the price to make the Order Artifacts! Meaning that if the average price of a medium quality normal Epic Rank Artifact costing 1 Million Gold Coins means that you will have to pay 10 Million Gold Coins. "It's.." Lazarus, Alyssa and Freya smiled awkwardly.
They had not expected the Artifacts they used to be so expensive. In fact, Alyssa's hands trembled while holding her staff. Because the staff has a peak quality Epic rank almost close to Legendary rank because of the rare materials they use.
"I prepared almost all the materials from the Artifacts used by all the members of my group. However, my brother made this Claymore Black Dragon Rage Artifact I bought it for 100,000 Gold Coins. It could be, it said I only spent 100,000 gold Coins."
"Do you swear? In the name of the Goddess Elektra?"
"I swear!"
Sieg was surprised to hear Lazarus say, he felt his head hit with a 1-ton Dwarf hammer. Sieg fell to the ground and finally fainted.
"Sieg!" Lazarus.
Sieg slowly opened his eyes. He, seeing the beautiful garden in the sprouted by the various types of beautiful Herbal Flowers colorful clean air and also a middle-aged man who was watering the flowers.
"Where am I?" Sieg mutters.
"Young man, you are already in the Garden of Eden. Enjoy your time here. Introduce my name Gail."
"Gail! Are you the God of Gail's Life?" Sieg asked.
Gail is the God of Life. He was the God who created the Garden of Eden and the element of nature.
"Am I dead?"
Gail nodded.
Sieg has a pale face. He, considering that just a few seconds ago he was with Lazarus and the others on the second floor of the Merlin Sage Dungeon.
Sieg walked towards Gail.
"Young man, do you need help?" Gail asked.
Sieg did not answer. When Sieg was in front of Gail he then hit Gail's face so hard that Gail fell to the ground. Sieg sat on Gail's body and beat Gail in the face.
"Old man, turn me back on! I still have something to finish. I promise to come back here again in the future!"
"Fuck! Stop, you broke my handsome face! Do you know that you have beaten a god?"
Sieg ignored Gail, then beat back Gail's face. However, all the wounds that Gail received healed instantly.
"Young man, do you want to go to the Abyss?" Gail looked at Sieg sharply.
"God, I'm sorry! But please bring me back."
A moment later someone covered in white light shot out from the white-colored light in front of Sieg and Gail.
"What's? Are you wrong to take someone's life! This young man's name is Siegfried, not Sigmund?"
"God, are you letting me go?" Sieg asked.
"Sad.. All right, but don't tell anyone about our meeting!" Gail smiled, then kicked Sieg into the sky very hard.
"Haha. You have never changed despite being mortal, me and the Gods will wait for you to return to the realm of the Gods very patiently! I wonder how you guys are going to make a fuss again in the God Realm." Gail smiled.
*second floor Dungeon Sage Merlin.
Sieg slowly opened his eyes he felt something soft on his lips.
"What's this?" inner Sieg,
When Sieg opened his eyes he saw Lazarus kissing him. Sieg, looking at Lazarus with an expressionless blank look, then he got up from his sleep.
"Sieg, you're sober!" Everyone exclaims.
Theresia, hugging Sieg with tears in her eyes.
"Sieg, are you okay?" Theresa asked.
"Theresia, what's going on? How long have I been unconscious?"
"When, you heard the price of the Urs Artifacts, you fell and did not move. When Urs, check it out you have no pulse and your heart has not been beating for 7 minutes." Theresia answered.
"Mr Urs, pump your heart, flow your heart with lightning element magic and give artificial breath for 7 minutes! Haha. Mr. Urs, it's great that he can bring to life the dead." Halton cried while hugging Sieg.
"Urs, thank you!" Sieg said with teary eyes.
"Haha. Sieg, I'm just doing my job? When this war is over I will introduce you to Brother Tyron to forge the Artifacts he will probably not charge 5 times, but 3 or 4 times." Lazarus smiled.
"I can't make Urs an enemy, indeed" Sieg's inner self.
"Sieg, you and I have gone through life and death together. In the future you will have to help me to face the whole world that will be hostile to me" Lazarus said.
Freya, pull Lazarus' hand. He, feeling a tight feeling in his heart as he saw Lazarus giving artificial breath to Sieg.
"The thief." Freya said as she looked at Sieg with a cold look.
Sieg's body and mouth froze when he heard Freya's words.
Urs, and the others, then went towards the inscription left behind by the Sage Merlin. Around the inscription lined with 12 statues of Knights with a height of 5 meters fully armed made of Orichalcum Metal and under the inscription there are 3 Light Stones that shine brightly.
"What creatures walk 4 feet in the morning, 2 feet in the afternoon, and 3 feet in the evening?? A person who can answer this puzzle will be the owner of the first and second floors along with their contents."
"How is it, there's a riddle this difficult?" Tyra exclaims.
Everyone is trying to think of the answer to this puzzle.
"Giant" Halton shouted.
The light from one of the Light Stones dimmed. The heads of the 12 statues glanced towards the Lazarus group and exuded the aura of the Legendary realm.
"Are the twelve statues artificial Golem Artifacts?" Theresa asked.
"20 statues on the first floor are also artificial Golems. I thought that if we answered this puzzle 3 times wrong then all the Golems would attack us!" Lazarus answered.
Everyone has a pale face.
"Urs, do we have to give up?" Freya says.
"I already know the answer!" Theresia.
"The answer is human! Morning time" is when you're a baby and are crawling with 2 feet and 2 hands (4 feet). "Lunchtime" is when you grow up and walk on 2 feet. Finally, "In the evening" is when you are old and must be accompanied by a stick (3 feet).!" Theresia.
One of the lights in the Light Stone dimmed. Theresia's answer was wrong.
Theresia bit her lips she thought that the answer was correct.
Lazarus touched Theresa's shoulder and said. "Theresa, your answer is correct, but not correct."
"The answer is the Humanoid race!" Lazarus shouting.
The Light Stone that was inside the inscription did not dim. One of the Knight statues suddenly moved and walked towards Lazarus. Sieg and the others were ready to fight.
The Knight Statue stopped in front of Lazarus then gave Lazarus a Gold-colored Ring-shaped Artifact with many ancient rune carvings. Lazarus immediately dripped his blood onto the ring, then put it on.
"Mythical rank Ring Wisdom artifact!"
