Married A Blind Heir

Married A Blind Heir
Chapter.14 Fire

Ervin walked out of the bathroom chuckling softly, as the shadow of the morning's events re-spinned in his memory. How Laras attempts to escape from him who is actually just pretending to sleep. It was quite entertaining and fun in the morning.

"Attractive," he murmured. Slowly curling and then carrying his feet stepped towards the walk in closet.

...❤‍🩹...

"How does it taste, how good is it?" asked Laras while looking at Ervin's face who had just fed him a spoonful of fried rice.

Ervin was speechless with his mouth slowly beginning to move around chewing on his breakfast menu this morning. Fried rice is special, because it is made by Laras. At least that's what his little wife said.

"Where ... is it good? Ish, it's been a long time," grumbled Laras who was impatient with Ervin's flat face.

Fried rice is one of the mainstay dishes that are always liked by anyone who tastes it. At least that was according to his younger brother and Dion who had once cooked the same fried rice, when the man helped him with the task.

"Lumayan," answered Ervin flatly, after swallowing the fried rice which was immediately accompanied by drinking water.

"Nice?" asked Laras with a face turned limp and a moody voice sounded. His shoulder immediately decayed because it turned out that Ervin did not like his fried rice.

Ervin could not help but hold back his piety, he could already imagine the expression on Laras's face that was pouting because of his actions. Although he could not imagine the real face of his wife, but in his mind Ervin could describe the vague appearance of the woman he married, from every attitude that was always done by Laras.

"I never said that" Ervin denied.

"But the way you swallow the fried rice I've described everything" said Laras.

"I'm just thirsty" said Ervin still displaying a smile on his lips.

"Yes, try eating again." Laras was still pouting and did not believe Ervin's reasoning.

Ervin nodded, he started scooping the fried rice Laras and feeding it again without hesitation. He even seemed to do it greedily.

Both continued their breakfast. The waiter who saw Ervin could smile and even laugh in front of Laras was also happy. The news spread quickly, becoming the main talk of the entire residence Ervin and Laras that afternoon.

Unlike the previous day, this time Laras only invited Ervin to enjoy a picnic in the backyard, by holding a mat and eating snacks while enjoying the wind that blows slowly.

"Master is sitting here yeah, we're having a picnic in the back of the house, hehe." Laras chuckled softly, feeling funny with his own words. "The weather is good again, not hot is also not cloudy, very fitting for a picnic kayak gini."

"Hem."

"Watch us again at the top or on the beach" said Laras while sitting next to Ervin. He then picked up an apple and began peeling it.

"Hem."

"In part, if I take you outside, I'm afraid that yesterday's events will happen again. So in the meantime, we'll have a picnic at home first." The barrel was still focused on the apple and the knife in his hand.

"House of the Great Master, it's a pity if it's taken. We have to make good use of it" Laras said.

"Hem."

"Ck." Laras glanced in annoyance at Ervin who only answered him with a mutter, but he had spoken at length.

"Want to eat apples?" ask Laras again while giving a fork that already has pieces of apples at the end.

Ervin did not answer, but he accepted and ate the apple given by Baras.

"Still beautiful?" ervin asked with a faint smile on his lips.

"still. In front there are several red rose trees, to the left a collection of orchid flower pots of various kinds, I do not know all types, but it looks like a lot of moon orchids. There are also pink and white roses on the other side." Laras explained what he saw, so that Ervin could imagine.

Ervin's lips covered a smile that was getting wider, even though his eyes seemed to be glazed. He then muttered softly which could still be heard clearly by Laras. "Surely they still exist? Mommy would be happy to know."

Baras was silent, suddenly there was a pain as if something was scratching his heart. Ervin's sad speech in fact was able to touch the heart of Laras who knew for sure what it was like to miss someone who could not even meet again.

"Beautiful and beautiful. They must have lived well and waited for Mister to see them again" Laras said with a smile.

Ervin nodded, though no longer answered. Laras also chose to divert their conversation in order to melt the mood of Ervin who returned cloudy because he remembered his mother.

However, it turned out that all did not go long, because by late afternoon, a waiter delivered his cellphone which had been ringing since. Baras picked up the phone directly in front of Ervin.

"Hello, Mistress. Good afternoon. I'd like to let you know if one of our warehouses has a fire. Right now, the fire department is trying to tame the fire" Ema said from across the line. From the tone of his speech, Laras already knew for sure the condition there was not fine.

"Alright, I'll go there, you calm down first yes," said Laras with eyes continuing to look at Ervin's face. His hands and body were already shaking because he himself felt afraid, confused, and at the same time felt guilty about this incident.

Ervin turned his head, he could hear the sound of Laras sounding vibrating. Slowly, his hands stretched out and then grasped Laras' hands.

"There will be nothing. Better calm down first, before you go to the location," said Ervin with a tone of voice that sounded warmer than usual.

"Where is this, sir? I-I have to how? I-I'm scared," Baras fights with teary eyes. He did not even know the location of the warehouse and how much loss the company had to bear because of this incident. Not to mention if there are casualties. Laras doesn't even know what to deal with all this in.

I don't know where the idea is, Ervin who began to hear the sobs of Laras also pulled the body Laras until now the head of the woman was also leaning in the chest of her field.

"Don't panic yet. It happened during the day, maybe not too bad already caught. I'm sure nothing will happen there" Ervin said as he stroked the top of Laras' head.

Baras was silent, he closed his eyes while trying to catch his breath and rearrange the already panicked feelings. Unexpectedly, the smell of Ervin's body attached to it, it could make Laras' heart become calmer than usual.

A few moments later, Laras was already in the area of the former fire that still looked messy. Ema greeted him very carefully.

"How's it going?" ask Laras while walking to a location that has been shrouded by many residents. There are several mnit fire engines and ambulances on standby with nurses to handle the victims.

"There are some victims who have been rescued by the fire department, it's just that they are still trying to find other employees who are still trapped inside" Ema replied.

Barrel suddenly stopped his steps with his face staring at Ema full. His forehead seemed to wrinkle deeply with a probing look, then blurted out a question. "Why are there so many victims? Isn't this just a warehouse? The warehouse staff and guards could have easily saved themselves, right?"

Laras still remembers Ervin's words before he went here. This is a warehouse that is not too big, so it is easy for someone to escape, considering there are several doors to the outside as well. Ervin even had time to convince him that it was very unlikely that there were heavy injuries. However, now what happened, was completely unexpected.

"Eitherway. But, I heard from one of the firemen, if the whole door to the outside is locked, so the person inside can not save themselves" Ema replied.

"You're the owner of this warehouse?" A police officer approached Laras and Ema who had just arrived at the warehouse area which still seemed to be reflecting thick enough smoke.

"Yes," nodded.

"Please come with me, we need a statement from you" said the man with complete stellan typical of police officers.

Laras had a quick look at Ema, although he could not deny following the police.

God, what am I supposed to do now?
