Chapter.42 A Father

Flashback 1 year ago.

"Him?" muttered Papi when he had just seen the face of Laras who was still lying weakly on his sister's bed. Laras's face, which is very similar to the woman he had loved in the past, made him surprised instead of playing.

"But know that woman?" mami asked when they saw Laras for the first time.

Papi was still fixated, his gaze never even separated from the face of Laras who was still wrapped in bandages in several places. Although in that night he could not see the woman's face clearly, but his men managed to get a picture of her, so that papi could see clearly the appearance of a woman who had been a victim of his error.

"Body?" ask Mommy again.

"Did? What, Mami?" Papi Langsunh turned his gaze to Mami with a surprised face, as if he had just woken up from a daydream.

However, unbeknownst to Mami, Papi asks Joana's aunt for a DNA test for Laras and herself. At first Joana's aunt refuses, she does not want to interfere with Papi's past mistakes. After all, it would also help him find out whether Laras was his nephew or not.

Some time later, the DNA test results went out.

Flashback off ....

"No, Papi. I can't keep being here. Thanks for all this time, sorry I've been bothering Papi and Mami a lot, but you guys just know me." Laras lowered his head, unable to look at the face of the good man who had helped him and allowed him to stay in his house all this time.

"You're my real son, Ras!" press Papi, with the tears that have been dammed in the fertilizer.

"You're my real son, Laras. Please, allow papi to take care of and take care of you this time," muttered papi again with a voice that started to weigh.

"Body?" Laras muttered very softly. His body was stiff, with his head suddenly unable to think. Everything felt floating, he was engulfed in great confusion. There were only tears that without excuse had flowed down the cheeks.

"I am your real father, Laras. I have the proof" Papi said again, trying to convince Laras. However, the woman was silent. He still could not speak or even move.

Meanwhile, in the doorway, Dion who was also shocked by what he had just heard seemed to shed tears. He also stared, with all the questions and feelings that raged in him.

"Birth child?" Only that murmur sounded so soft from his lips. It seemed like the man was also in shock due to the reality that had just been revealed.

Laras is his real sister?

Even imagining it Dion never did. Wherever possible, he could have a younger sibling who was only a few months different. Moreover, he had liked it once too.

"No. This is impossible." Dion shook his head weakly with his feet stepping back slowly. The man seemed to still be in between conscious and unconscious. Until suddenly a subtle clap on his shoulder resuscitated him. Dion turned his head quickly towards the side, where someone seemed to be standing while reviewing a gentle smile.

"Mommy?" muttered Dion with tears that managed to escape from the fertilizer.

What are those tears for? Disappointed because his father who he had been proud of turned out to have another child out of wedlock? Sick because it turns out the woman who has become a friend and adoptive sister, was the son of her father who had cheated? Or ... instead it's a sign of happiness, because now he really has a sister and two nephews at once?

I don't know .. Maybe it can all be revealed, if all his emotions have subsided and Dion can sort back the feelings that are really now very big for Laras and his two babies.

"Nothing. My mother can make peace. Now it's your turn," said Mami, as if giving a little enlightenment from so many questions and feelings that are now filling her mind.

Switch again to Laras and Papi who still seemed silent in the room. Until, a while later, Laras seemed to wipe his face with both palms and exhale rough breath.

"A–aku." The barrel sat limp, his whole body as if it had no bones and no longer powered. All of this was shocking, even many times when she learned the truth about her birth mother.

"A–aku want to be alone," said Laras again, without being able to see the face of Papi. Truly, right now he needed time to reorganize his heart.

"Alright, papi's going outside. You calm yourself first," nodded Papi as he walked backwards, without taking his eyes off Laras. Although there is disappointment in the heart of the Baras reaction to this truth, Papi tries to understand.

It was very desirable for him to hug Laras at this moment. If necessary, he even willingly prostrated to apologize in front of his son. His error on Baras was already huge. Although Papi is aware that he does not deserve to be forgiven, but as an ordinary human being, his selfish side still hopes to get recognition and affection from Laras.

Papi closed the door of Laras' room very carefully, he exhaled heavily, before turning around. However, now he was again surprised by the existence of Dion and Mami who were standing right in front of him.

Papi again exhaled heavily, when he saw Dion's tightly clenched hand. Apparently, his son also knew everything and was now harboring anger for him.
